We changed our reservations from another campsite to this once because they advertised they had WiFi and I needed to be reachable for an elderly relative, however, the WiFi is crap. Nothing loads and you can’t make or receive a phone call. I stopped at the front desk to check in and the lady working seemed thoroughly annoyed I needed directions to my assigned site. I won’t stay here again.

No beach access, pool is full of kids, not sure how clean it is. Wifi was very poor. Staff were friendly. Not very buggy and it was clean.

WiFi is wonky and no cell service made our family disconnect and enjoy this quiet, well maintained campground. Staff was very nice. Campground is old but very clean, they’ve done some upgrades including a very nice but very small pool. Minimal activities for kids and ice cream shop closed way too early. So close to Lake Bomoseen State Park.

Lots of trees. Lots of seasonal campers that look like they are settled in for a long stay! Staff very helpful. Be careful when you arrive. There is a tree that may jump out and get you if you aren’t perfectly straight!

Very beautiful area but the wifi didn't work at all , the campers in a cabin stayed up till 2am every night playing music and talking and yelling, and the pool was not clean very cloudy water and lots of people in it at all times, oh and the water shut off for the night and half the day. Other then that it was ok!

This is the worst KOA I have ever stayed at. Doesn't meet any KOA standards facility dirty and not maintained. There is zero standards almost got hit by a drunk driver and the response was that is blank he isn't usually here on the weekends we will talk to him. O so you know he is a problem water went out splash pad didn't work. I never would recommend staying here worst experience I have had camp

Pool time was hard for younger children because the group of 12 or 13 boys staying at the cabin by the dock were extremely rowdy and inconsiderate. Water problems so no showering and bathroom closing (may have been a town issue).

Cabin was very cozy toilets were convenient except for water issues that you were fixing was surprised of the difference in pool area was there in 2010 three pools and hot tub but the pool now was refreshing and very clean my biggest issue was the arcade ty koa for giving me the number to Mike I got my items for the tickets the campground was very clean and staff was very friendly

Most facilities were dirty, pool was full of bugs, game room was moldy, laundry facilities dirty and did not work. Campsite was tiny and the staff was unresponsive when we notified them of an abandoned beeping camper next to us. I am disappointed in the KOA management of this facility. We have stayed in and enjoyed many other KOAs. We will never return here or recommend it to anyone.

I love the camp ground. Just very unhappy with the washers and dryers not working then being told that they contacted the owners of them a week ago. Then we go to leave and we could not pump out as the pump out station was broke. Like why am I now responsible to figure out how to empty our tanks after paying over $700 for our stay there.

Great place. Unfortunately it was July 4th week so it was super loud & busy. That's no fault of the campground. It was just the wrong week for us. Our family loves it so it worked out fine. We even squeezed in a birthday party for our granddaughter. Our family had 4 sites so it was all good. Even ran into some old friends.

We were in site 78. Good location. Was disappointed with the lack of “adult time” for the pool. We had to ask the staff for a quick 10 minute dip when they were closing the pool early due to the fireworks. Also, quiet hours need to be enforced. I wasn’t able to sleep due to people sitting on the hill talking until 3 am.

It’s a beautiful place, unfortunately we probably won’t be back due to my husband being handicapped and needing handicap accessible bathrooms etc. the laundry facilities were lacking as all of the dryers didn’t work during my stay as well. Thanks

Nice place. Very clean grounds and bathroom facilities. Very friendly staff at the office/store. The only negative was the poor WIFI. Our site was very close to the office but that didn’t help.

Staff was very friendly and very helpful while there. We Ended our stay the night before we were supposed to because of my wife had bug bites. The day we left I brought her to the doctors to find out she had been bitten by a ton of bed buds and is covered in bites. So the bed in our cabin we stand in has bed bugs

Unaware that there wouldn't be any cell service near the campground. Campground Wifi was as close to useless as it could be. To do planning or research to find things to do we would drive about 15 minutes away and sit wherever we were with cell coverage. It was interesting to see so many people NOT on their phones or tablets. Would have been great news to have before making reservations.

The staff was very friendly. As far as the grounds again for the second time we stayed the cable for the TV did not work, the wifi was a joke and the prices were outrageous, as retired people we can't afford to stay here anymore. It is convenient because it's close to our family but we can stay at much nicer campgrounds further away at a more reasonable price.

We had a nice stay. Road was narrow and with other campers around it was difficult to find a spot to unhook our tow vehicle. When we left the campground, we hooked back up outside the campground.

Clean campground, the staff was very friendly! Nice pool, camp store was amazing! Very cute ice cream shop! The lake was beautiful! Plenty to do for teenagers (ours had a blast!) We all had a great time! We can’t wait to come back!

Biggest disappointment was that the showers took forever to get barely warm enough to feel comfortable. The faucet spray was weak too.

Our only complaint about this campground is the WiFi. We had absolutely no WiFi at any time during our stay. We tried all hours off peak times and nothing. Very frustrating. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Only there 3 days, did not use many facilities. Yet saw many others in pool. Bathrooms clean , area well kept. Store was amazing. People were very friendly and helpful. Had previously seen on utube issues about water— there were none!!!! Wi-Fi “iffy” No AT & T service. Sites close but not on top of each other as some places we have been.

Phone number goes straight to voice mail stating, no mailbox! You have to pay $10 cash for refundable gate pass, office not open in AM, so no refund. They said they will mail me a check. No way to call them to check status. 1 of 3 showers out of order entire time. KOA Not on a swimable lake. Small pool with short open hours. Shop/office/icecream should stay open beyond 6:00 PM. Not impressed.

We only stayed one night, however it was a very nice campground. Sites were pretty level. Would definitely stay there again and for a longer time.

The campground was very clean. We liked all the trees providing shade on a hot day. The wi-fi could be stronger, especially on the weekend, since there was no cell service in the area.

Pros: beautiful location, lake access, campsite in the pines, AC in bathroom and clean. Cons: unfriendly staff, campsites on top of each other to the point other peoples children constantly ran through our site, mice in mattress, no kid activity's planned, moldy arcade with broken games/prize machine, no staff ever offered to deliver our ice/wood, loud at night quiet hours not enforced.

This was exactly the fall camping we wanted. We never find affordable cabins that allow dogs, so that was awesome. Staff was nice, camp store had the basics and then some. Hiked bomoseen state park and explored rutland, vt.

It's a budget-friendly, family-oriented campground that offers a nice getaway in nature. Addressing Common Complaints: Cleanliness: Some reviews mentioned unclean facilities, but we found the bathrooms and showers to be well-maintained. The laundry room was temporarily closed due to a fire, but the staff was upfront about this. Plan ahead and pack extra clothes just in case. The Lake: The lake area is a boat launch, not a swimming or play area. It's functional for boating, but if you're expecting a beach, that's not what this spot is for. We were camping so the room 5 stars is for the camp site. It was very clean, level and a good amount of space. The staff was very kind and helpful, you can always locate someone if you need anything. We have enjoyed camping there several times and would recommend it to anyone. Families were enjoying the time as well as singles. As full as the campground was, it was quiet and very enjoyable.
