An older KOA. Except for the pool and Wi-fi, no extra services. But the bathhouse design is functional and has windows and good ventilation. Quiet and peaceful sleep here.

After a long drive, KOA was right off the highway. Beautiful grounds, well kept and clean restrooms. Staff friendly and helpful.

The campground was well kept and facilities were clean. Enjoyed the location. Wild turkeys strolled through the area as well as about 8 deer. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was very nice and helpful. Great place for tent camping!

What a nice little oasis! Very seldom do I find the bathroom close to the tent sites, but here you are. Staff were friendly and the campground was very clean. Thank you!

Even though she stated the pool was usable even though it was green. Would of like to have a lock on bathrooms, did not feel safe

We had a wonderful stay here! We got in very late (forgot to budget the time change when coming from The Badlands), but it was very easy to find our envelope with our site number and map! The showers here were awesome and everything was very clean and easy to find! Will definitely stay at another KOA campground in the future!

We only stayed one night, but it was very enjoyable. Nice spot, clean bathrooms and showers. Nice hosts, would stay again.

It was a very quiet campground. Bathrooms were clean and pool was large and very refreshing. It was just a very simple campground which is what we appreciate when we stop.

We were only there for a short, one-night sleep as we travelled through. It was clean and quiet and was all we needed for the night. A wonderful stay. The truck exhaust breaks as they came into town were loud. I’m surprised they allow that in city limits.

Always a pleasant experience! We are treated like good neighbors. The campsite is well-run. We plan to continue to stay at the Kennebec KOA when we travel through South Dakota and we will recommend it to others. Keep up the good work!

Under new ownership. We were only passing through and stayed one night. The lots were all very level, the location was quiet and the bathrooms/showers were the cleanest I've ever seen with HOT water. Some stuff was being upgraded but it didn't affect our stay. Front desk people were very kind.

We are on our way from Petoskey, MI to Mt Rushmore et al. Looking for a place to land before shooting into Hill City in the morning. What a great surprise! They are under new ownership and these guys have really cleaned the place up. They are investing in the place. Sites that are actually big rig friendly and the place is clean. Pool under construction. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We have more trip planned for the West. Kennebec KOA is part of all future itineraries.
