Very nice cabin, exceptionally clean restrooms. Charcoal grill would be nice. Every other cabin at KOAs I’ve stayed at in the past had one. Great place!

It has been quiet both times we have stayed there, very few other campers, just a few RV's. We stayed in the only cabin. There is a new numerical lock on the cabin door, and it feels very secure. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. I also appreciated the call we got because we were going to arrive after the office was closing. We were given our code for our cabin and the bathrooms. Very Nice!

Very clean. Pool is under construction but it will be a great overnight stop with kids once it is done. Owners are super friendly.

The new owners of the Kennebec KOA are welcoming and friendly. The grounds are lovely. We look forward to staying there in the future and seeing all the wonderful improvements in progress. Our stay was early in the season. The grocery store in town was well stocked and good prices. We plan to return.

Cabin was clean, mattresses were really comfortable, bathrooms were clean, the people that run were great talking to and the quick finding a product I needed in the store/office was efficient fast. Fantastic stay.

Short one night stay. Host was friendly and welcoming. Campground was neat and clean. Bathroom and showers were clean and worked as they should.

Small campground with friendly staff. Park could use some TLC and the Kabin we rented is showing it’s age.

Enjoyed our basic cabin. Friendly host and helpful. Just the simple amenities. Campground was closing for the season, so supplies were limited. Not much in the area for eating out.

Was not happy that there was no pool.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, our pool was closed for 4 days due to a broken valve. That valve has been replaced and the pool is back to functional. We apologize for the inconvenience.

It was a very quiet KOA, and the hosts were super friendly! Clean amenities and a lovely cabin to stay in! Would highly recommend if you’re driving through South Dakota.

The owners and family of this property are just amazing!! I was on a cross country solo road trip when my car broke town, and they offered me a safe haven at their campground while my car was in the shop. The property and facilities were so clean and they really made me feel at home when I was so far from it. A great, quiet, and clean campground. I really can't thank them enough for the help and solace they provided me during my time there. Highly recommend!!

The new owners are making this a really nice KOA Journey. Campground was close to the interstate but very quiet, super clean and well maintained, not dusty and big rig friendly.
