The new owners of the Kennebec KOA are welcoming and friendly. The grounds are lovely. We look forward to staying there in the future and seeing all the wonderful improvements in progress. Our stay was early in the season. The grocery store in town was well stocked and good prices. We plan to return.

Cabin was clean, mattresses were really comfortable, bathrooms were clean, the people that run were great talking to and the quick finding a product I needed in the store/office was efficient fast. Fantastic stay.

Short one night stay. Host was friendly and welcoming. Campground was neat and clean. Bathroom and showers were clean and worked as they should.

Small campground with friendly staff. Park could use some TLC and the Kabin we rented is showing it’s age.

Enjoyed our basic cabin. Friendly host and helpful. Just the simple amenities. Campground was closing for the season, so supplies were limited. Not much in the area for eating out.

Was not happy that there was no pool.

Yes, our pool was closed for 4 days due to a broken valve. That valve has been replaced and the pool is back to functional. We apologize for the inconvenience.

It was a very quiet KOA, and the hosts were super friendly! Clean amenities and a lovely cabin to stay in! Would highly recommend if you’re driving through South Dakota.

Air-conditioning in cabin didn't work. No amenities that were listed on website. But restrooms and showers were clean.

Stayed in the cabin. Close to restrooms which were very clean. Cabin was clean and comfortable for one night. My only suggestion is to put down pavers or provide a path from the cabin to parking.

We love the KOA's little cabins. Making reservations on line are so easy. Bathrooms/showers are always clean. We travel to Montana about twice a year and will always stay at a KOA!

Basic campground but everything you need for a convenient overnight while traveling the I-90. The owners thoughtfully turned on the A/C in advance.

Under new ownership. We were only passing through and stayed one night. The lots were all very level, the location was quiet and the bathrooms/showers were the cleanest I've ever seen with HOT water. Some stuff was being upgraded but it didn't affect our stay. Front desk people were very kind.

We are on our way from Petoskey, MI to Mt Rushmore et al. Looking for a place to land before shooting into Hill City in the morning. What a great surprise! They are under new ownership and these guys have really cleaned the place up. They are investing in the place. Sites that are actually big rig friendly and the place is clean. Pool under construction. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We have more trip planned for the West. Kennebec KOA is part of all future itineraries.
