Although the pool was closed for repairs, so much else was wonderful about this KOA. It's conveniently close to the interstate, but surprisingly quiet and secluded feeling. The grounds are spacious and well kept. The proprietors were very hospitable. I stayed just one night as I passed through, and would definitely stay again.

soggy day when we arrived, had to change sites because of standing water. was no issue with changing. also, cabin is nice option for overflow. sleeps 4 people comfortably.

Very nice campground and hosts. Level sites. A scary storm went through the night we were there, but the host had warned us about the weather forecast when we arrived and told us where to go for shelter if needed.

It’s a great place to stay when you’re in the middle of nowhere. Check in a parking was easy. Facilities were clean.

Just a one-night stay as I traveled, but it was a great experience. Office staff was pleasant and helpful. Pool was super clean and relaxing. KOA is located within walking distance of a cute small town with cafe, grocery store and library. A relaxing place to stay even more days.

Very small & basic. Game room was too hot to use upstairs. Laundry room had no quarter machine & had to run over to gas station to get change for machines.. No souvenirs in gift shop. This town only has a couple hundred people so no average city amenities. We ended up eating in a smokey bar.

The gravel was big and deep on our site making it hard on our truck to even pull our fifth wheel onto the site. And it was unlevel. Restroom was clean. Did not use any other amenities in the KOA.

The campground was very nice. We did have one problem when we got to the site, we pulled thru but my husband wanted to reposition the trailer for the sewer hookups and the trailer tires sunk down into the ground, I'm sure you saw when you went to check out the site after we left, we were able to reposition away from that very low spot, we didn't get stuck. Mosquitos were very bad.

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere. Three nights. One bar and grill and a Cafe in the town that served breakfast and lunch but closed Saturday afternoon as was the only grocery store. Good stop over place. Quiet. Flies and mosquitoes bite. Heavy rain backed up the sewer. Showers were nice. Lots of dog walking area. Nice looking pool. Would actually overnight here if passing through.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a nice KOA with level spots that are gravel. Bathhouse, laundry and pool were nice also. Teri and Tony were great as well.

Great overnight spot! Laundry -$3.00 washer. Easy access from highway. Clean hot showers. It wasn’t really busy so nice quiet evening. $65 for the night which seemed a steep as the night before we found a place for $25. Overall great for the nite!

This KOA has been around for a while. But I found it well kept up and friendly staff. The bath/shower were neat and clean. The pool was not ready yet. The grounds were well groomed. This KOA is in the middle of nowhere but I believe it is a good spot for a 1 night stop.

We enjoyed our stay for 2 days. The owners were a very delightful couple that made you feel like you’re part of the family. The grounds were kept clean and a very peaceful getaway.

This was a stop for the night for my husband and I as we made our way to the Badlands at the end of August this year (2024). It was a small KOA and not as many amenities as others might offer. However it was the perfect distance between stops for us. A great, quiet place to sleep and the staff are near incredible! I understand that other KOAs probably offer more, but if you need a safe, comfortable spot to sleep, complete with showers then this is the place. We would easily stop here again. Enjoyed it :) I will say there were flies like crazy and we busted out the good ole Bug Assalt which depleted our salt chamber. hahahaha. I think I included a picture of it on the ground somewhere in the pics. Good times :)

A great site in small town USA. Management staggered the overnight campers throughout the grounds for a feeling of privacy that was greatly appreciated. Clean bathrooms, sites and doggie park. Grounds were well manicured with attention to detail. Highly recommend a stay here.
