The whole campground needs a better drainage solution. Big mud hole. Nice people but no discount for a retired 20 year veteran of 2 wars?… wow only active duty… who knew I thought all KOAs honored that but Tony specifically said it was his decision… and so if your in the areas keep driving.

-Stayed at Kennebec KOA South Dakota where all streets were flooded. Since Wife is handicapped she needed a little more time to get going. When we left it was 11:50, No one was in the park or in the office. We were Billed us an additional $5 late stay fee when we left there was absolutely no one - campers or otherwise- in the park.. .

Stayed here one night while traveling through South Dakota. Easy on & off I-90. Very friendly camp host. Long pull-through spot was level enough we didn’t have to unhook our trailer. Gas station 1/3 mile away has accessible diesel pumps easy to fuel with trailer attached. Very clean bathrooms/showers. Would stay here again.

This RV park was very quiet with only a handful of RVs for a weekday stay. The sites were easy to pull in and out.

Gave me the wifi code but no wifi not even a little dot. The showers don't have code entry so anyone can just walk in and who knows what, not very comforting when taking a shower especially once you close the shower curtain its very dark in the shower. Over priced for whis their. The excuse for a store look more like they picked up a few things from the Dollar General. The water handle was rusty .

We left our KOA in Minnesota at 5am to beat 45mph gusts. We arrived at 10am at Kennebec, yes it was early due to road conditions. They charged me an extra $20 for early arrival. That has NEVER happened at any other KOA we’ve stayed at. BTW, the campground was empty!!

In this case, you arrived before 10am. Our guests from the previous night had not even checked out yet. Our check in time and policies are made very clear in the confirmation email you received when you made your reservation.

Due to a breakdown earlier in our trip, we could not make it to Kennebec KOA as scheduled. Our stop was another night, for which they courteously applied the payment. Tony and Teri were both very nice to meet and speak with. Remembering being told that wild turkeys could visit, I was so glad to see the flock early the next morning. The grounds were maintained well.

This was a nice KOA for a place to rest after a day at Badlands National Park and other hiking. It has more shade trees than most of the campgrounds we'd been in recently, good-sized sites, and the facilities are nice and clean. We were really grateful not to have to drive all the way to Sioux Falls.

The camp was neat and clean. The gentleman running it seemed disinterested and didn’t even get up from his chair. We would have been much better off if we drove a few more miles to Mitchell.

I showed up late one night and it was very easy to retrieve my info, locate spot and set up for the night. Facilities were spotless. Bathrooms and showers very nice.

In September this was a nice quiet clean camp. Green spaces well maintained and bathroom/showers were very clean. I would definitely stay again.

Under new ownership. We were only passing through and stayed one night. The lots were all very level, the location was quiet and the bathrooms/showers were the cleanest I've ever seen with HOT water. Some stuff was being upgraded but it didn't affect our stay. Front desk people were very kind.

We are on our way from Petoskey, MI to Mt Rushmore et al. Looking for a place to land before shooting into Hill City in the morning. What a great surprise! They are under new ownership and these guys have really cleaned the place up. They are investing in the place. Sites that are actually big rig friendly and the place is clean. Pool under construction. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We have more trip planned for the West. Kennebec KOA is part of all future itineraries.
