Very nice, clean and well-kept KOA! Sites are long enough so you don't have to unhook if it is just an overnight stop. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. I have driven accross South Dakota many times and never stayed here. I will definitely be stopping more often!

During our recent stay we experienced a slide out issue that required ATF fluid, As we were already hooked up, the owner gave me a ride to the store and back, we were soon on our way. Exceptional customer service at this place as well as well maintained sites and location. Thanks

The new owners were great and were able to get me a RV pad even at a late hour. I can see by all their hard work they are making their KOA a place not only for single travelers like myself but also a great place for families. Thanks for the stay and if I am ever in the area again I will stop in for a comfy nights stay!

Doug and Chris were excellent hosts. They were very considerate and accommodating. The thoughtful enhancements they have been making to this campground make it a very pleasant stay and they have more enhancements planned. It is very convenient from I-90 and still very quiet. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Clean campground, sites are good size, close to interstate easy to find but don’t hear interstate noise, staff are very pleasant and welcoming!

We stayed one night on our journey home. The campground is neat and clean. Chris, Doug, and the whole team are friendly and welcoming. This KOA would also make a great base camp for many other sites to see in the area. Highly recommend.

This KOA has new owners and they are in the process of updating this park. They were very accommodating and took care of our needs immediately. They have brought in gravel for all the roads and sites which makes them level and nice. Lots of natural grass between the sites as well.we will definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay this campground. Convenient to RT90. Upgrades were noticeable. The biggest change was the ENERGY the new owners provided. Good job and best of luck.

It was a 1 night stay while traveling. There are definitely improvements being made!! And everything is looking good. Great dog area but the spring bar is really tight!! It spammed the gate into me. You definitely need garbage can spots around the park not just at the front. We will book for our next trip, excited to swim when pool is complete.

We stayed here just for the night and did arrive a little late(20 minutes )but the host stayed until we arrived. They had just bought the campground and were in the process of updating and remodeling. The host was very pleasant and apologized for the heavy rainfall as he had to shuffle people around due to the rainfall. Yes I recommend this campground and wish them a successful business

Easy access to I-90. Quiet Park with large, level sites and good working hookups. Roads are easy to navigate.

everything was great the bathrooms were clean ,showers were hot with great pressure they explained everything clearly. and there was a storm coming and the guy drove around and told everyone we're to go if it got to bad.i will stay here again

This is a clean KOA with a peaceful atmosphere. We loved the well groomed site we were given facing the trees. A great place to stop on your way to and from Mt. Rushmore!

Used my first few KOAs on a recent trip. Kennebec was a perfect layover KOA. Better price than a hotel. Quieter than a hotel. Water pressure in the shower - awesome. It will be my stop when traveling west across S.D.

Wow! What a great campground. We've been on the road for 2 wks and this was the best yet. Level sites, cleanest bathrooms, beautiful grounds. New owners Chris & Doug are extremely friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend high enough.

The owners and family of this property are just amazing!! I was on a cross country solo road trip when my car broke town, and they offered me a safe haven at their campground while my car was in the shop. The property and facilities were so clean and they really made me feel at home when I was so far from it. A great, quiet, and clean campground. I really can't thank them enough for the help and solace they provided me during my time there. Highly recommend!!

The new owners are making this a really nice KOA Journey. Campground was close to the interstate but very quiet, super clean and well maintained, not dusty and big rig friendly.
