We have stayed here a number of times as we traveled to Michigan. The new owners are very friendly and we felt very welcome. There were a number of nice improvements since we stayed last year. Definitely recommend staying here if you have a chance. We look forward to staying our next trip.

New owners are awesome. The bathrooms, the store and everything is very clean. The grounds grounds are well kept. Would and most likely will stay there again. Derk & Rose ...ps the pizza is great �

Nice new owners. Helped us find a good pull thru so we didn’t have to unhook. They are making improvements to a park that was in need of improvements. They added new gravel to most roads and sites. Overall a good overnight stop while heading west.

Easy and convenient to the interstate . Welcoming at the desk and site escort. The office campstore was very very nice.

Beautiful grounds, we'll maintained, spacious sites, easy maneuvering for big rigs, level sites, friendly staff. Kennebec has the potential to be a resort destination with the addition of a pool and possibly a few other family friendly activities and offerings.

Very clean campground. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They escort you to your site and make sure all is good. Bathroom and showers were very clean too. Will stay again if in the area.

Very nice sight to stop and rest. Very clean nice restrooms and laundry. The sights are very level so we had no problem leveling our unit. We ours stay there again.

This camp ground was clean and well maintained. The staff was super helpful and was great! The pool was down during our stay but I believe they’re renovating and I imagine it to be awesome as the rest of the place was!

Stayed one night while heading West. New owners doing a very nice job. Bathrooms clean and nice. Easy to navigate, with new stone pads and road. Nice job with the new fire rings!!

The Kennebec KOA is a delightful park. It is easy to get off and on I90, Kennebec is roughly half-way (east to west) across SD so it is the perfect stoping point to explore the area for several miles around, allow several days for this adventure. The park is clean and well maintained and the new owners are gracious and freindly.

One of the best stays we've had on our trip in SD. Easy to park our trailer. The bathrooms were clean and the showers with the shower wand and duel control handles was a plus for us. The camp ground was well maintained. The laundry room looked new and if we stayed longer would of gave it a workout. The last for the best the owners were very Friendly and we enjoyed our time with them. Friends+

The entire park is very clean and well maintained. There's new colored gravel throughout the entire park. The bathrooms are extremely clean and quite pretty. The hosts are friendly and helpful. There are large trees throughout the park. The park is easy on and off the interstate. The store has reasonably priced essentials. Honestly the only thing missing was the pool that's under construction.

There was no pool - will not be repaired I was told. The grounds were well maintained but there was very little to do in this town or the grounds. Couldn't ride our bikes in there because new rock for the roads and pads made it dangerously unstable to ride. The store was well stocked but all there was a broken shower head in the women's room. Only kids playground and horseshoes to entertain us

Right next to the highway. Too noisy for this tent camper to get a restful night's sleep. I should have looked up the other KOA's further to the west off of I-90.

This is a good location for an overnight stay. The property is well maintained. The only reason it’s a 4 is that there is nothing nearby. The only restaurant nearby is sketchy and full of political stuff. Again for an overnight it’s perfectly fine! When we went the pool was closed for construction.

It’s time I didn’t get a site I booked. Wanted pull thru full hook up. Man behind the counter gave me a song & dance why I couldn’t have the site they picked for us. Got pull thru/ water electric. There were several sites not being used that night sewer available.

It’s a great stop over when traveling down I90. We like to stop here on our way to the Black Hills. It’s even good for a weekend. We stayed here Memorial Day weekend and rode motorcycle around the area and enjoyed beautiful central South Dakota panorama’s. We loved everything about this Campground, from the stone pads that are not gravel (yay), which is really wonderful to the brand new store. The improvements just keep on coming. The road coming in is nice and smooth. The bathrooms are spotless.

The owners and family of this property are just amazing!! I was on a cross country solo road trip when my car broke town, and they offered me a safe haven at their campground while my car was in the shop. The property and facilities were so clean and they really made me feel at home when I was so far from it. A great, quiet, and clean campground. I really can't thank them enough for the help and solace they provided me during my time there. Highly recommend!!

The new owners are making this a really nice KOA Journey. Campground was close to the interstate but very quiet, super clean and well maintained, not dusty and big rig friendly.
