Very helpful, kind, and overall a great stay!

Just an overnight stay. Nice campground and nice people. Utilities worked well. Minimal (1 bar) Verizon signal. The only thing I didn't like was that our site had a thick layer of loose gravel, so when I drove our 30,000 lb diesel pusher through it, it felt like we were going to get stuck (couldn't really happen, but it felt that way).

This was just a stopping point on a long trip, so we were not expecting much, but the mosquitoes were so bad you could not do anything outside of the camper.

The staff was awesome and the grounds well kept. We just did an overnight but was easy.

The hosts were very friendly. We arrived on our motorcycles. We stayed for two days. The second day some severe weather came rolling through. The pavilion was not being used, we asked if we could put our motorcycles in there for protection, they said we could without any hesitation. This is wonderful customer service!!

Yes, our pool was closed for 4 days due to a broken valve. That valve has been replaced and the pool is back to functional. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Friendly staff. Park looked nice at first glacé but the sites had real loose gravel causing your rig to sink in. Very unlevel site. Price of $72 was way too much for a $30 site.

Campground needs to spray for mosquitos and flies. I’ve never seen anything so bad. Couldn’t be outside at all. Fans and bug spray were uneffective.

It was a very quiet KOA, and the hosts were super friendly! Clean amenities and a lovely cabin to stay in! Would highly recommend if you’re driving through South Dakota.

Nice, quiet area. It's an older park but what you expect with a Journey. Great water pressure, good wifi. Nice hosts. Good for a night or two.

Very unkept park. Pool was not up and running. No extra amenities. Still expensive at 80.00/ night.

We always try to stop here on our way out west from Iowa. We know which site we like, recommend that site and they have always been able to accommodate! Very level spots so we don’t have to unhook for the night. Very friendly hosts! I’d highly recommend this campground! :)

Although the pool was closed for repairs, so much else was wonderful about this KOA. It's conveniently close to the interstate, but surprisingly quiet and secluded feeling. The grounds are spacious and well kept. The proprietors were very hospitable. I stayed just one night as I passed through, and would definitely stay again.

Under new ownership. We were only passing through and stayed one night. The lots were all very level, the location was quiet and the bathrooms/showers were the cleanest I've ever seen with HOT water. Some stuff was being upgraded but it didn't affect our stay. Front desk people were very kind.

We are on our way from Petoskey, MI to Mt Rushmore et al. Looking for a place to land before shooting into Hill City in the morning. What a great surprise! They are under new ownership and these guys have really cleaned the place up. They are investing in the place. Sites that are actually big rig friendly and the place is clean. Pool under construction. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We have more trip planned for the West. Kennebec KOA is part of all future itineraries.
