After having a problem with our site, customer service was great. Some sites need leveling. A major problem is the spiked ball fruit, of the sweetgum trees, that litter the campsites. I picked up over 100,by our steps, just to keep our dog ‘s feet safe. Some sites must have 1000 of them. I would replace these trees but I know that is expensive. The road noise is loud. Solar panels are cool!

Very clean and comfortable! Communication was excellent and the hosts were very friendly. I’d had a flat tire earlier in the day and was very tired. It was wonderful to just unpack and go to bed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Office closed for Easter even though website stated only holidays closed are Christmas Eve / day and Thanksgiving. Phone call unanswered / VM full and no check in reservation packet ready. Upon call back they stated our packet was now ready in the late arrivals box, it was not. Bathrooms out if toilet paper and paper towels and no employees to be found. Arcade was unusable, tools laying everywher.

top bunk was missing the mattress. also found a green crayon and a pill on the top bunk. entire cabin had a very musty, foul smell that made it almost intolerable to stay. we opened all windows and the front door for most of the evening to try to alleviate the smell.

Lack of electrical outlets on walls. Wall cutout for air conditioner had a significant gap in wall.

Uneven spots had to put down lot of boards onder jacks tell me a wifi number but wifi is 1 bar that cant log in to

The staff were great and very kind. I think the overall cleanliness of the camp could have been better. Also I feel the kid amenities such as the race track and the mini golf were kind of run down and could use a makeover. But overall great stay for a short weekend.

Excellent stay, they have a well kept park and I would recommend it to anyone. They are very accommodating. I thank them for the great stay!!!

Overall this campground has become disappointing, the more we stop and stay the less they seem to be open. We tried calling several times to make a reservation while driving, no answer. When we stopped the hours were posted on the door, but nobody was around, all afternoon. We paid full price $70, for a site. Is this the NEW KOA? If so, I'll go else where.

The staff were very good, and the facilities were good. I would stay there again [and we have stayed there in the past]. The only issue was the CATV. There was little broadcast TV available - and the park's cable went out for the 3 days we were there. When it's advertised, there should be more response than: "We've called someone, and they may show up and fix the CATV."

The spot we had reserved was taken when we arrived and had been for a couple of days. We found an open spot with the help of staff. The reservation system needs work however the spots were within eye sight of the office so it wouldn’t take much to have seen the overbookjng

Restrooms were not clean - Leaves piled by the doors - not well kept. The sign on the door said they were open until 5:00 pm and got there at 4:30pm no one around - sign said to go to the laundry room and find your check in info. Cable did not work - was not a good stay. was supposed to stop on the way back but due to scheduling change drove home instead.

Stayed two nights. All amenities were functional. The staff were friendly and helpful. We find KOAs to be expensive to start with and with the exchange rate Canadian dollars to US dollars. It adds another 35% to the bill.

The cabin and grounds were clean. The front office was closed during the hours the office was supposed to be open. Messages weren't returned.

We really didn't do much at the camp as we were attending the basketball tournaments during the day. But the camp was quiet at nite, the washrooms were clean and working well, roads clear and easy to drive, signage adequate to know where to go. We come to this camp every year for the basketball tournaments and would be glad to stop for other trips that take us through the KCMO area.

Not sure what office hours really are. Our check in stuff was in the laundry room. Some notification about that would have been helpful. Otherwise for one night passing through town it was just what we needed to have a quiet place to park for the night. El Maguay Mexican restaurant in town was good also!

If you like listening to semi trucks hitting their jake brake as they get off the interstate, then this is your place. It’s very close to I-70. Doesn’t get quite till almost midnight and the the night racers come out to play. We didn’t sleep most of the night. If you want a quite campground then keep on driving.

Stay was all so welcoming and friendly. From making the reservation to checking out, they all made us feel like family. Sites are good size, and evwrything was very clean. You can tell they take pride in their park! We differently go back if in the area!!!

Blake was warm and welcoming and gave excellent recommendations for local food options. Moochos Cantina was right down the road and had great Mexican food (tacos specifically). While I was gone, his kiddos dropped off the firewood I purchased at my campsite (which was clean and level), and I enjoyed a beautiful evening by the fire. Thanks for another great stay!

It is winter, and we arrived just before sunset and left as the sun was rising. The highway noise was masked by our heater running, The one staff member we met who showed us to the site was friendly and agreed to a members off season rate. It was a good stay and fully met our requirements

The heaters didn’t quite kick out enough heat, but there were plenty of blankets. It was from the bathroom window and closing the locker door helped the rest of the cabin but then the bathroom was like a freezer. Outside of that, which didn’t really big me, the cabin was nice and clean. My son and I came in town for the Chiefs game and had a blast. I met Jim and he was great as well. Thanks !!

People in office were very rude. Kids running all over park on ATVs and golf carts all under legal driving age and no one even cared. Fires started by kids unattended as well when winds were high.

We loved our stay, we ended up extending an extra night. We talked to an older gentleman named Jim, who was an absolute delight to talk to. We will definitely be back when it warms up so we can utilize the jumping pad, but we totally understand why it was down. The cabin was perfect for two nights! Thank you for making our stay great!

We stayed 2 nights in class A, 31 feet. Sprung for the patio pull thru full hookups (spot 96). Mostly level, we still put down the leveling jacks due to the slight grade. No shade in the spots. Separated from next spot by a wooden divider. Low noise, well behaved guests. The store has lots of stuff to buy, and ice cream cones. We didn't use the bath, laundry. My only complaint, I I'm getting picky, would be that given the spot we are in is the primo/most expensive, but not paved parking for the rig. Oh, and a weed is not supposed to be decorative, right?

You can tell it is under new management. They have really stepped up their game. The new sites are very nice. The gentlemen who greet and serve during your stay were amazing. Front desk check in was easy and she was such a joy. The restrooms and showers are very clean and ready for use. The activities are incredible. The kids love the bouncy pad and the playground. I like that the playground is not metal. Does not get as hot. The 4 wheelers you can rent are a blast. Our only surprise was that the office was closed at 5 pm and then on Saturday, we couldn't reach anyone. I would recommend at least allowing the Park assistants access.

Wow what a clean and spacious bathrooms they had. Our 4th stop on our month long journey and this was the best so far. Even though our campsite was little tight (40), we still did enjoyed it. We have a 5th wheel and we did pull thru to our spot and had to disconnect our truck to park on the side. They had mini golf as well. Very nicely kept campground, definitely would recommend this place, even though it was little noisy being close to highway. It didn't stop us from sleeping good:)) They had nice mini store as well and go kart to rent.
