Kansas City East / Oak Grove KOA Holiday General Information

Please confirm that you have arrived at the Kansas City EAST KOA in Oak Grove, MO.  Some people accidentally drive to Kansas City West park by accident.  Please park your RV by the stop sign at the end of the drive.  You can then check in at the front desk located at the back of the store.  You may want to check out the fish in our fishpond near the front door, get some ice cream or buy a souvenir at our camp store.  After, our team will happily escort you to your site so you can get settled in and enjoy our campgrounds amenities.

Our night registration is in the laundry room, one door down from the office. There will be a map with your name showing where your site is. Please stop by the office in the morning to finish your registration and have a cup of coffee on us. For cabin late arrivals please call ahead for after hour instructions.

We are open year-round.

The only days our office is closed are on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Night Registration, in the laundry to the left of the front door, will have available sites for the night and campers with reservations arriving after hours.

Our hours vary depending on the seasons:

* December through March - 10 am to 5 pm
* October - April: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
* May thru September - our Summer Season hours are 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

For those campers that may arrive after closing, we have our Night Registration which is open 24/7 and located in our Laundry Room.

Due to ever changing weather and temps, we will only have water available on select 50 amp sites from December 1st through March 30th. The sites will have electric, cable and WIFI only. Please plan accordingly.

If you wish to use the campground WiFi, the password is written on our map given when you check in.  Our system is designed for you to get your emails and browse sites. Our system is not designed to perform high volume tasks such as (Skype, movie downloads, streaming videos, etc.) If you have trouble getting online, please refer to your site map insert or come to our office for assistance.

To protect our trees from the Emerald Ash Borer we can no longer permit any of our guest to bring in firewood. Thank you for your understanding.

We will be happy to deliver firewood and ice to your site.

Check-in for RV and Tent Sites is 1:00pm - Cabin check-in is 4pm (call to see if cabin is ready early).  Note: There will be a fee for this.

Check-out for all sites is 11am - if for any reason you can not depart by the required time, please notify one of our team members in the Office/Store. 

There can be an additional fee for late check outs; we ask that you notify front desk prior to the 11am check out time.  If your reservation shows you're departing and there has been no notification in advance, there will be a full daily rate charged by 1:00pm.

The furry members of your family are welcome. We do insist that you have control over your dog at all times including barking. All dogs must be on a leash with a person at the other end. They cannot be tied out or left unattended. The off-leash dog area is the only area they are allowed off leash. Pets are not to be in the pool area or tied outside of the pool area. No pets allowed in any building with the exception of a few selected cabins.

Our park has a solar field that provides almost all of the electricity for the park.  We would be happy to give you a tour.  Please ask someone at the check-in/store and they can make arrangements for the tour.

QUIET TIME 10pm to 7am.

Speed limit is 5 MPH. Please watch for children. No clotheslines, ropes or wires. No weapons, firearms or fireworks of any kind permitted. Fires in fire rings only if wind permits. Check with front desk if you have any questions!

Weather may change quickly, so be prepared for sudden gusty winds by ensuring that awnings and other items are properly secured at all times.
