One of our favourites...great location on 1000 Islands Parkway and bike trail...close to amenities and Ganonoque for supplies...lots of weekend activities...nice sites with trees and some with small gardens...always quiet...however, one of the more expensive KOA's...men's washroom often needs attention

Nice friendly staff. Very welcoming. Our site was huge! The entire campground is layed out very well, none of the sites seem crowded in. A very nice change from "parking lot" camping.

We booked two stays online. Sept 13 and Sep 18. Both bookings led us to think there were no full service sites available. When leaving Sept 14 we arranged for the full hookup site 96 but when we showed up on the 18th we were give site 64. Site 97 was occupied by someone's utility trailer. Site 64 was sloped very much and the tree prevented us from opening our awning. There were better empty sites

Like I’ve said time and time again , its the staff that make the difference . As well with so many regular campers at this facility it seems that this facility doesn’t attract the disruptive camper . Very quiet by 10 pm , kids are generally well behaved , dogs under control and people well behaved . We’ve never had an unpleasant experience here and have been coming here for about 6-7 yea

We have stayed in a number of campgrounds in the past 6 months, and Thousand Islands KOA did not rate in the top five for sure. The entrance alone was a turn-off with all the ruts and the road. The site was very unlevel and tree branches were overhanging the site that scraped our roof when we pulled in. We also asked that limbs be removed before we left and they said they would, but didn't.

Some upkeep needed to be done around the park (dog park and pool area). Adult Hot tub was a little too hot. Shower pressure in women’s bathroom could be better. Would be nice to see some patio stones under the dog tub area as you ended up standing in mud while washing your dog. The activity sheet we were given had some incorrect information such as the location of bingo. That needs to be correct

Nice and quit campground. Found it to be somewhat dated compared to other KOA's that we have stayed at. The ground staff were helpful in cleaning up a mess that the previous camper left. All in all it was a nice quit visit.

Staff where friendly and helpful and the park was easy to find and navigate with lots of activities, I am only giving it a 4 star because my site was a bit smaller and I couldn't open my awning.

The worst koa I’ve been to. The washrooms are so dirty you don’t want to wash yourself in it. No grills available for rent, no community spaces. The tent lot was just a piece of grass in the turn of the road.

Everything was perfect. The personal is professional, attentive to our needs. The pool perfectly maintained. A nice dog free leach park. I would suggest that the toilets and showers be modernized but everything was clean and in perfect order

Reception was very efficient and welcoming , normally I take full hook up but none were available since park was full so I got electric and water making it necessary to use park showers which were in need of an upgrade . Showers were not clean , shower heads were pathetic to say the least , spider webs everywhere. I was very disappointed . As for our site it was functional as described .

Great site but what makes the difference here is the staff , we’ve been going here for several years and have met many of the staff but not all . Ones worthy of mention here are Jen , Fraser and Len . Alway helpful and a delight to encounter . I’d bet the rest are just as good but like any business …its the people that make it . Keep up the great work .

Wonderful site especially for kids. I would have rated it 5star except Wifi was very weak and we were unable to get any stations on our TV. Clean, modern toilets and Showers. Enjoyed our pancake breakfast on Sunday. Although we are seniors we enjoyed watching the children there having a wonderful time with all the activities that was offered. The best location for enjoying the 1000 Islands!

First and last time I'll camp here. Entire campground and its facilities are in dire need of modernization as it is currently looking run down. The price for a nightly stay is over the top expensive and the site I was on is very tight (small) as is most of the sites. This particular KOA does not meet the standards one would expect from KOA.

Quiet spot. Staff were very nice. Tidy camp. Great location. Lost water service for a day but staff worked steady to restore service and site bathroom and shower was available so not a deal breaker... it is "camping after all! Wifi was a little slow but decent enough to stay in touch... again it is supposed to be "camping"!

I requested to be close to the cabins and looked at the map and site 71 seemed ok. It was the tiniest, most awkward site have seen. Our trailer is 27’ and we had no room for our truck. Had to park perpendicular at the end of the site. Very cramped to have everyone at our place for two meals. The activities were fantastic. . The hot tub was hot but the jets were not working well. Liked not loved.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivy Lea KOA! This was our first time visiting a KOA so we weren't quite sure what to expect. The staff at the front office was very welcoming. We stayed in the 4-person cabin with the full bathroom. It was the perfect size for our little family. It seemed pretty clean at first glance but I would suggest a bit more attention to detail go in to cleaning between guests. We found quite a few mouse droppings in the cabin, though we appreciate that the cabin was equipped with pest repellent plug-ins. The staff was prompt in addressing an issue with the toilet in our cabin not flushing when we first arrived. After that, we found that the shower was also not draining. Those are probably a couple of things that could have been addressed when the unit was being cleaned before our arrival. The grounds were pretty well maintained, but some work could go into revitalizing the flower beds and areas around the pool and parks since there were a lot of overgrown weeds in those areas. Our toddler enjoyed the park and the pool. We would definitely return for another trip!

This is a fabulous KOA. The pools are clean and safe the park and bouncy pillow are huge! The staff are helpful and kind. Our site was fantastic well kept and very big as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.
