Firewood Policy

PLEASE DO NOT TRANSPORT WOOD!
The invasive Emerald Ash Borer and Asian Longhorn Beetle has been spotted in Ontario and could cause significant damage to our forest. It is illegal to transport firewood. Any transportation must be reported to the MNRF.
Firewood can be purchased in the store.
Please help us keep our forest healthy and beautiful for all to enjoy.

Vistors and Day Guests

All visitors must check in at the registration office to obtain a car permit and be entered as guests of the site your are visiting. There is a minimal charge for all guests unless you are just stopping by for a few minutes but you will still require a pass to enter the campground. This is for everyone's  safety and all guests must be registered by law,

Quiet Hours

We want all our guests to enjoy themselves. We ask that you treat others as you like to be and that includes peace and quiet at night to get a great nights sleep. We require all outside radios be kept at reasonable sound levels at all times and after 10pm no outside radios etc be on. During the summer weekends we employee security to assist you with any occurances such as a blown breaker etc. They will be walking around wearing yellow identifying them as KOA staff. We are know as a family campground where everyone has a great time and for only hearing nature during the night, we hope you do too.

Boat tours and Passports

If you are traveling on one of the boat tours and hope to tour Boldt Castle and/or Singer Castle , be aware these are both in USA waters and require Passports to enter regardless of your nationality.
You can still view the castles from the outside and not exit the tour boat at these destinations if you do not have the necessary documentation.
