We chose this campground because it has direct access to the Waterways Trail for biking. When we arrived, our site was available but hanging branches made it impossible for us to pull in our 11”6 tall RV. After notifying the office , a maintenance worker cut down the branches. Sites are close together, packed on weekends, dusty roads, but location is great. friendly staff, lots of kid activities

The electricity on our 30 amps site was not working adequately. We couldn’t use the A/C if our fridge and/or hot water was on. It was very hot outside so uncomfortable inside (with a baby). The owner gave us a full refund for our trouble which was appreciated. When talking to other campers, we realized others had Same problem. We enjoyed the activities and the pool, the washrooms were very clean

A great campground for families with kids & dogs! A great playground, a dog park, a pool &a hottub for adults only. I noticed they had lots of activities for kids! If you’re a younger group, it quiets down around 9-10pm, and the pool is also very crowded throughout the day. On Sat&Sun the pool stays open until 9pm, which we found from 730-9 not many kids there. Perhaps they make this adult hours

Nice large campsite. Nice neighbors. Friendly staff. Good central location. Was a great stay.

Le coté negatif de notre séjour à été la vitesse des voitures dans le camping. Je trouvais la situation inquiétante pour les enfants. Mais en générale notre séjour à été très agréable.

Ice cold shower on first day. Others in shower room verified they did not have any warm water. Office was closed so we could not take showers.

Was the 3rd one I stayed in last 2 weeks, was my least favorite. Bathrooms looked aged. Also watched a young man (wearing park top) racing down The path and n golf cart. (Dangerous for kids crossing. Was the most expensive and lyes least favorite. Location was great but didn’t warrant the cost. Just saying

Long gravel road was not a good first impression. Dusty and rocks in tires not good. The site was tiny and fire pit just outside my entry door meant no possible fire. Would not return to this KOA.

Trash cans on different locations on the site would help keeping them clean

Kids had a blast.

Le camping manque beaucoup de renovation. La piscine est ordinaire pour les enfants. Les clotures sont très endommagées. Les voitures roulent très vite, très dangereux pour les enfants. Le prix du bois en exagérément cher.

The men's restrooms and showers need to be redone. The men's and women's restrooms are not very clean.

All was great except I’d choose a different site next time, the one we had was a bit small for our rig.

Très propre et bien entretenu. Les employés sont très gentils. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

This park is very small and spaces are very tight. We booked the largest site available for our 42.5 ft fifth wheel we were the full of it. We were told that a new owner just took over. They DEFINITELY have some work todo. As there are many dead trees, and just general updating to be done. I am surprised the previous owner was able to keep the KOA name. Nice staff, pool, and store area.

We spent three days at the KOA and loved it. Very clean, two pools and great adult hottub. Very quiet in the evening and good size lots. Not a lot of privacy but most of our time was spent at the pool area. Appeared to be lots of activities for the kids.

This campground looks tired. There are weeds growing everywhere and the pool area needs work. It looks like it was great at one time but has been ignored. We couldn’t get a WiFi connection or an AT&T connection. The water pressure is too low and the trails are severely overgrown. Worst KOA yet.

Expected more from a KOA camping even with pool, jumping area and kid playground on site. Good location in Thousand Islands, small sites, expensive stay. Aged equipment, men showers/toilet badly need restoration (already done for women toilet). Water outage started on the Tuesday morning, no communication for the first 24 hours(still out), no info if water was potable. Otherwise helpful personnel.

The campground is not very clean, especially around the swimming pools, and the flowerbed were full of weeds and other things. During our stay the water pression was always changing and sometime no water at all. They were working with a little tractor pushing little rocks and making much dust on the campground in the middle of the afternoon , when we try to relax , we didn't appreciate!

Very small, only one bathroom at the main office which is nice and nice showers. However very inconvenient having to go on the otherside of the park at night especially with kids. Pool is nice but also very small especially with all the people. The fire bylaw is just sad. I get being quiet but having to have the fire out by 12 is nonsense and silly especially for camping.

I don't even know where to begin lets start with they advertise so many amenities for kids but nothing avaliable or the took it out like the arcade then there no site with decent shade if u need a 30amp hook up also where you plug in had wasp and the breaker was lose and kept popping tell I use the box for site 70 instead of 62 that I was on and much much more do not waste your money !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your staff at the Entrance are very nice and polite. One of the problem we had, was late night noise and parties. One night it lasted until 1 am. We could not sleep. I guess the rules of "keep the noise down" was not applied by the staff. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

We expected more from a KOA Holiday. It looks like a lot was invested in the campground at one time but the high quality standards appear to be slipping away. We like to see more of a KOA staff presence. The store too was practically empty for early July.

Camp ground needs up keeping, pool needs to be cleaned better and have more things to do for your stay

This is the most rundown KOA Ive stayed in. It was dirty and kind of disorganized. Hosts did not help us find our site and the layout was confusing. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work unless you’re right at the store.

We stayed for a week. It was an awesome stay. Lots to do, close to alot. Great trail to walk the dog. Clean campground with lots to do. Would definitely go again.

Site 66 is very hot. No shade. Otherwise everything about park was good

Park is clean and very well maintained. My kids loved the pools and activities they had daily. Nice location!

A very peaceful and quiet park to stay at and also very close to many of the sites and interesting parts of the area. Staff were also very helpful and kind. We will return again to explore the area.

New owners and they are hard at work improving the facilities. We had a very enjoyable stay - we met friends and enjoyed the huge Hot Tub.

We had 3 wonderful nights at this KOA Ivy Lea Thousand Islands ON. Our site was private, back in, the washrooms were close by and clean. Lots to do and see in the area. We would definitely return. Loved our mini vacation there!

The campground was OK. We were just stopping for an overnight stay and I think it was way overpriced

Out of all the KOA’s I’ve been to, I enjoy 1000 islands/Ivy Lea the best so far. However; my wife and I don’t have children and we enjoy using the pool frequently. The only thing we would recommend adding/changing is having an adult only pool time since most kids don’t use just the family pool but the main one too and it’s not enjoyable getting splashed continuously by the kids.

Our stay was lovely, however I will say that the store on site is very limited and the site is in a remote area without anything ie, grocery store, site seeing near by.

Nice park overall but the esthetics of the park could be better....like grass and trim upkeep. Not the best KOA but not the worst we've been to. The close proximity to the 1000 islands cruise tours made it worthwhile. Thank you

The camp is very nice our site 82 was perfect, but not as well maintained as previous stays. Just noticed the camp is looking a little untidy and needs a few upgrades. Playground and campsites less stellar. Missed the Sat. Bbq. One of the reasons we stay over. The carnival was pretty lame no one bothered. The smore lunch and wagon events were really great. According to our kids. Still enjoyed!!!!

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.

Beautiful location, not sure why they would be running a pressure washer while people are trying to enjoy the outdoors...
