The cabin had a strange and unpleasant odour, there were ants on the counter, the coffee maker was dirty, the tv didnt seem to work, a knob on the bbq was broken, the deck was slick with mildew, and cobwebs on outside. The store was not well stocked. Was not asked about our stay when we checked out. Expected more since we stayed at 2 other KOA locations previously.

Beautiful landscaping around the pools/hot tub/ gym area. Great parks/kids area. Gym equipment still functioned very smoothly. Men’s showers could use a little updating.

Overall good. Great location. Liked that the cabin backed into the woods with some privacy, but connected to the other cabins. Amenities were good. The only negative is that the bathrooms needed to be cleaned more frequently.

we were a group of 19 staying in cabins and camp sites we had a great time. loved the hot tub and the fact that it fit lots of people was awesome I think 12 of the group were in there together at one time.

Our family ( a group of 17) have been staying at your KOA for years. We rent many cabins (5)and several camp sites(3)at a time. We have always loved it. I wish I had known that the tent allowance rule had changed. Meaning a tent can now be put on a site with a trailer and also on site beside a cabin. We witnessed this in a few spots this year so that will be a big saving in the future.

Really great time, lots of activities and nice amenities. The activities would have been even better if you hired a young person who was a bit more outgoing and actually ran the activities or even said hi, this is what we’re doing, instead of just setting them out and then stepping aside and sitting in the golf cart. More engagement would be exciting. Other than that great time.

We booked our group in Feb after discussing with the manager the location of the cabins. We were told we would all be next to each other. We ending up having 3 cabins in a row, then a stranger, and one more cabin. The Deluxe cabin we booked was a walk away. We needed them to be close so that we could leave kids at night. I was also disappointed that the office, lounge and pool were not accessible

We found the pool rather murky this year. And our bbq at the cabin really needed a good cleaning. The drip tray was full of grease and debris. Also shower in cabin could use some renovating and cleaning. And a good thing we brought lawn chairs because there were none at the cabin. Staff at front desk nice and friendly as always.

We rented one of the canins that was supposed to sleep 6. The pull out bed in the eating area was too short for a person who is taller than 5'5. Fitting 2 people on the bed was also not possible. This was not a space that fits 6 people. Very disappointed for the cost

Firewood was damp, office finally issued partial amount, this after spending $1200 on two cabins. Kettle was caked in calcium, and propane tank on the BBQ was empty.Grandkids had fun, but more detailed inspection is required when prepping cabins for the next guests.

Compared to other KOA campgrounds this one has not been as nice. The washrooms are in need of upgrading and better cleanliness. Acrivities for kids was limited, even the described wagon rides and activities promoted on the website were not offered. The cabin was not cleaned properly and the trailer area has severe drainage issues. Although we made the mist of our stay, we would not return.

Our ceiling fan didn’t work while the light was off, so we were given two very small desk fans that did not compare in effectiveness. Our kids were looking forward to using the splash pad on the map which didn’t exist. There is very little shade around the jumping pillow and playground so at midday they were often too hot to use. Kids loved the waterslide! Our cabin was located in the shade which was awesome cause it was so hot during our stay. We had a fantastic time and will be back.

Stay Away!!! Bed bug infestation and unclean. Cabin 5-June 21-24, 2024. Noticed some bites on the 24th. More appeared during the next 3 days. Visited the doctor due to the gigantic welts that the bites caused on my face and arms. The bites on my son and daughter only appeared 10-14 days later. We found a couple of bed bugs in the washing machine after having washed the sleeping bags we used.

This KOA is a dump! The cabins/playground are not clean. We stayed DC5 and could tell they barely cleaned in between guests. The bathroom toilet had debris on it, the shower had lots of stains and the shower curtain was dirty. The kitchen kettle, coffee maker and dish drainer were dirty. Floors and mattress protector were also dirty. The place is run down and not on par with other KOAs.

Great KOA. Everybody on staff very friendly and acommadating. Very kids friendly. The only complaint I have is we had a handicapped person and the cabin wasn't handicapped friendly. ( stairs going in and no handrails in bathroom. Other than that everybody had a great time. We will be returning.

Clean cozy cabin, well equipped, pet friendly and super nice staff. The camp is very close to town for any last minute need. With our kids 12, 10 and 8 years we had a great family time there!

The bathrooms were dirty and had a really bad smell. I find that this koa has deteriorated. Pool closes at 6pm too early. Alos, eook that was given was wet. Lastly, too many skunks, racoon and chipmunks eating at our food.. Needs to be fumigated

we will not be returning to this location(ivy lea). The cabin was not cleaned properly before check in. We found cereal under the mattress on the bed.The other issue was maintenance staff tried to fix the sewer at lunch even though the emergency light had been on since the day bef It smelled awful and it was disgusting. A warning would have been nice so we could have planned our meals around this.

The cabin was unclean. The barbeque was broken and did not work right I tried to explain it to the maintenance guy who I think was the owner. He got ignorant with me. And said to him that we could leave he told me then then maybe that’s what you should do so we checked out a day early. I will never go to this KOA again we like KOA camping and try to hit two or three in the summer the summer mont

I’ve seen the campground in better shape. Large cabin our family usually books needs a refresh. Screens in windows were ripped. Sofa looking very rough. Hot tub all boarded up. Shower drain clogged with hair. Air conditioner having trouble working. We still had a good weekend with lots of swimming and campfire’s.

Beautiful setting with deluxe cabin in woods. There were carpenter ants & smaller ants in the cabin which need to be dealt with . The outside deck & chairs could use a good power wash. Staff was friendly & helpful. We did enjoy our stay.

The amenities were wonderful! we meet up as a family every year at a KOA booking a deluxe cabin, this year we had the cabin for 7 people and it had everything you could need. There was a bit of confusion with linens as the website and the app were conflicting about what was included, but it was all sorted out. The grounds are beautiful with flower beds and well maintain landscaping at every site.

This was our third stay in the cabins. Friendly staff. We were in DC4. R&R weekendThis cabin had mice problems reported by the previous guests. Arrival Friday night..mouse appears...sleepless night with him knawing. Reported problem Sat. am...traps set. Owners should have been upfront about this problem. There was no apology or compensation...said we would have had to complain more? Not impressed.

Gone downhill. Price increases, service/amenities decreases. Staff need to supervise the pool area. The adults only signs are ignored. Tweens jumping in and out of hot tub. Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
