We LOVE KOA camp grounds. Activities are fabulous (pool, park, trampoline, organized activities, etc.) Missing a star due to the cotrage we stayed in. 7 peraon cotrage: needs a lot of love (shower, floor boards kitchen area bubble, smell appeared and got stronger). Requested ant traps for counter tops (we did not leave food out), but they never got back to us. Not enough kitchenware for 7 people.

I was there just one night with my kids but we had a great time in the pool and playing games and our cabin was perfect for us.

It's what you'd expect from Koa. I've stayed in many the past few years and they are all great! Only thing I'd say about this one is the cabins are a little too close to each other. I could hear conversations from both sides. Other than that, great place to camp.

Stayed in a Kamping Kabin. The sites were lovely. Pool and adult spa area we're great to spend time in. The RV sites looked too tight for my large motorhome, but wouldn't hesitate to come back if I were to look for a Kabin. Staff were friendly, and the park was very well maintained.

Some small signs of improvements. Area around large pool has been resurfaced and activities were happening for kids along with bbq on the Saturday. The kids hot tub needs to be repaired and the smaller pool heated again to balance out people between pools. Cleaning of cabins and washrooms is still an big issue. Landscaping of trees and bushes would improve things greatly. I wish new owner success.

Bon emplacement mais le personnel n'avait pas laissé les clés du chalet à notre arrivée à 19 heure, et nous avons attendu 1 heure. Un numéro de nuit est normalement affiché sur la porte mais il n'y avait rien, et nous avons dû contacter le personnel par instagram. L'état général des toilettes et douches, et le ménage sont vraiment médiocres. Même chose pour le chalet, ménage médio

Clapped out cabin by the park - overgrown weeds, water damaged floors, desparately needs a overhaul. Dog park entrance was always a swamp so didn't get a chance to take our small dog inside. No arcade as advertised. movie lounge? $15 per bundle of wood. Pools and pool area were nice and fairly clean which was the only thing good about this park. Overall pretty disappointed and would not recommend.

Enjoyed the stay. Cabin is basic but comfy and met our needs for a short stay. Enjoyed the BBQ and double rocking chair on the porch. Bring your own towels and linens! Very hot water for shower. Hot tub out of order for a while, they should shock it first thing in the morning when no one using it or at night so we could have enjoyed it during the day since we had really looked forward to that.

In spite of the rainy weather, we enjoyed our stay at Ivy Lea KOA. Our cabin had a high bulb out and the staff attended to it very quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient both repairing the problem and throughout the entire stay.

We stayed in cabin c4. The one screen was broken and off the window, and the light didn’t work. That was a bit frustrating. Also the campfire pits don’t allow for “full circle” around the fire, which is a bit frustrating.

Cabin May 2-4. Not great beds. Put an air mattress under bed. We called them to fix large hole in the screen and they didn't, just said that the window worked fine. We stuck cloth in hole. Ceiling fan didn't work. The lots or clean, washrooms are wet/dirty floors, needs increased regular cleaning. Place is nice, good location, needs upgrades. Pool & Spa R clean & warm. Great Coffee & dry wood.

The kabin left was not as expected. The microwave was put on a high shelf, unplugged and not accessible. The window curtain allowed for full exposure from outside in the night hours when the lights were on. We will not use this KOA again.

After 10 years of bringing our family here, we will not be coming back. Never had an experience like this before and are really sad to see how awful and unkept the campgrounds have become. Our cabin was not cleaned, at all, toilet was disgusting and the beds/floors were dirty. My husband almost blew himself up with the BBQ that was broken. Coffee pot, outside furniture, lights in cabin, all broken

We had a lovely relaxing stay. We had a deluxe cabin and it was perfect. Much nicer and more well stocked than I even thought it would be. We enjoyed taking our dogs to the dog park. The campground has a friendly family atmosphere. Would highly recommend this campground!

We have rented at 1000 Islands KOE in the past. We had a cabin booked for May but were notified that the pools would not be opening until later, we cancelled as there is no reason to rent a cabin and look at a hot tub and heated pool. Our cabin in Sept we had stayed in before, the cabin had cobwebs, was not cleaned properly. We could not get any wifi "it was spotty", it was non existent..Unhappy

Wished the hotdogs on Saturday were available a short time longer or notice given that they would be available for only 30 mins. Shower in DC3 was badly stained with hair dye and shower head could use replacing. Bathroom in that cabin could use a more reliable locking mechanism.

We were very happy with our total stay. The cottage was super and well equipped. The hot tub was really good too! We definetly would like to visit this KOA again.

We always have an awesome time at the KOA. The only comment I have about this particular stay was in our cabin, DC2, the shower was full of mold at the bottom. Tons of black mold. Would have been nice if it was cleaned properly, and the bathroom door was very hard to open and close, the kids could not do it themselves. Other than those 2 issues it was fun.

This is our 4th time staying at the Ivy Lea KOA. Each time we've enjoyed the friendly and quiet atmosphere of this facility. Can't wait until next year!

Really disappointed to see that they are not taking time to correct some of the issues that seem to be mentioned in the reviews. Been coming here for more than 10 yrs already...sad to see the deterioration of the furniture of the cabins, the dirt in and on the fans....and it's really time to change the mattress in the Deluxe ones...its clearly sagging in the middle..just look under the bed...

Upon arrival our cabin was 1) filthy inside (lots of cleaning necessary by us), 2) AC pumping but air had weird smell (last time filter cleaned... dunno?), 3) outside around doors & windows covered w spiderwebs & bugs (incl large spiders), 3) cruddy gross bbq, 4) small uneven campsite couldn't find a spot to even setup our picnic table flat. Left w 3 (of 4) nights remaining, refunded 1 night

7th year there! On arrival our cottage was as expected, except the very dirty fridge and bag of garbage under the sink. Previous renters were not considerate, not the KOA's fault! We love it here, already counting down to next year!

We stayed for 5 days over a weekend and the first part of the week. We were sad to see the washrooms so poorly cared for. They were dirty and not kept up. While they seemed to be recently renovated cleaning was lacking. Also we rented a cabin and even the cabin had not properly been cleaned. We were very disappointed in the care and attention to detail.

We really enjoyed our stay here, we got a week in the basic cabin and while we got rained out most of the time the visit was wonderful. We have stayed at 3 different KOAs and this one is by far our favorite. The staff are friendly, and helpful. The owner drive me to get gas as much truck was empty and I was stranded. Very kind if him

Camping qui a surement déjà été tres beau. Manque d’entretien des infrastructures du camping. Enceinte de la piscine / spa en piteux etat. Ne pas se fier aux photos publicitaires. Bloc sanitaire malpropre. Matelas dans les cabines inconfortables. Micro onde/ réfrigérateur pas nettoyés avant notre arrivee. En revanche le grand spa pour adulte est tres bien et les cabines tres coquett

I’ve been going to your location for 20 years with my two daughters…they are now 25 and 29…I feel however that things there have changed and not for the better! Bathrooms need attention and staff has gotten younger and less efficient.

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
