In spite of the rainy weather, we enjoyed our stay at Ivy Lea KOA. Our cabin had a high bulb out and the staff attended to it very quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient both repairing the problem and throughout the entire stay.

The new owner is making much needed improvements and is open to hearing from campers. Even with the rain the activities continued and those that were weather dependent were changed to something that could be done. Looking forward to next weekend. The magician a few weeks ago was a wonderful change.

The property is well maintained, and clean (including washrooms and showers area ). Staff is polite and welcoming. While the website does indicates the campsite has internet/wifi, we could not access it from our campsite. We had to go to the office area, but overall , we enjoyed our stay.

Very noisey neighbours until 2.30 am & next night until 11.30pm They were asked to leave after the 2nd noisy night. Hot tub heater broke so only able to use it one time. Pic nik tables need to be renewed or replaced. Very disappointed. Staff were very nice and helpful no complaints there. The camp ground needs work done to it we understand there is a new owner so hopfully the updates will happen

We stayed in cabin c4. The one screen was broken and off the window, and the light didn’t work. That was a bit frustrating. Also the campfire pits don’t allow for “full circle” around the fire, which is a bit frustrating.

Great as always. Any small issue that came up was dealt with quickly. I would recommend perhaps keep 1 package of menstrual pads (not just liners) in the store.

Cabin May 2-4. Not great beds. Put an air mattress under bed. We called them to fix large hole in the screen and they didn't, just said that the window worked fine. We stuck cloth in hole. Ceiling fan didn't work. The lots or clean, washrooms are wet/dirty floors, needs increased regular cleaning. Place is nice, good location, needs upgrades. Pool & Spa R clean & warm. Great Coffee & dry wood.

The kabin left was not as expected. The microwave was put on a high shelf, unplugged and not accessible. The window curtain allowed for full exposure from outside in the night hours when the lights were on. We will not use this KOA again.

I like the small improvements and look forward to more. Few suggestions 1. Hot tub can be a bit hotter 2. Event descriptions on the website are not fully accurate 3 Activities for teens 4. Maybe a meet the new owners and learn about their campground goals Have a good day

For the past 4 years this site has been our first and last for the season. The site is close to the casino and shopping. My only complaint was that there was no WiFi available. I did inquire about it but there was no resolution.

The current owners have not been doing anything to improve the property much less keep it at where it was when they took over - cobwebs in the hall leading to the washrooms, overgrown bushes encroaching on the pool and covering emergency call buttons, run down playground that hasn’t seen new sand in years, and pools that need serious repairs. It’s not worth the cost.

I hear there are new owners, I realise it's a big thing to take on, so I hope you can take this criticism as constrictive. The playground seems to be suffering from a lack of upkeep. Cracks in plastic, sinking support beams etc. There was a waterfall in the hot tub that was not functional. The main pool wasn't heated at all, and the smaller pool only a little. Hopefully this is all fixable.

There have been a lot of changes in the years that my family has been attending Ivy Lea KOA. Recently it feels that there has been a decrease in the service & quality being offered & cleanliness. The pools are no longer heated, they are NOT even close to what is advertised on the website. "Enjoy the two heated pools (86 F)" That pool was cool which is highly disappointing.

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
