The bathrooms were close to the cabins, but not accessible; stairs are everywhere here. They are also inconvenient to access from the pool. I noticed very few people were leaving the pool to go to the washroom, and the toilets were not dripping wet the way pool toilets typically are, which means they were peeing in the pool. We found a pair of child's leggings and a hair clip in our cabin.

Park is small and the 50amp sites are small. WE have a 40' with 2 slides and an awing. When open we could not have a fire as the awing would be over the fire pit. Water pressure and power was excellent. The park was central to all that we were doing and seeing.

Great for the kids. Love the activities and freedom they had in the park. Some issues with noise (people up waaay to early or way too late) and that not being enforced but otherwise had a great time.

It is the most expensive campground we have ever stayed at. For that high a rate we expect a functioning wi fi/ internet service. In this day and age it is a prerequisite. This park is geared for families with kids which is great but no consideration for older campers.

A SOLID 4*...A WELL MAINTAINED CAMPGROUND...THEY PICKED UP THE GARBAGE AND RECYCLE EVERY DAY RIGHT AT YOUR LOT...AND WE DID A FIRE TILL 1H30 AM,WE WERE 4 OF US JUST TALKING AND NO ONE CAME TO POLICE US EVERY 5 MIN.LIKE OTHER CAMPGROUND...WE HAD FRIEND'S OVER AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COME AND LEAVE WITH NO HASSLE...AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE US FOR A LATE CHECK OUT.

We had a wonderful experience. Camp’s ambiance is very friendly. Many activities for kids and adults. Staff is very friendly also and we felt comfortable during our stay.

Was ok, not great. The cabin had a good decor inside, but there were a couple of issues that affected us: 1. We found a live mouse under one of the kitchen burners (which we promptly escalated to the front desk) 2. The front doors (faced the street) didn't have blinds or curtains. As a result, there was no privacy. People walking by could see inside, particularly at night when the lights were on

The campground was pretty ruff. Lots of landscaping required many Dead trees , broken playground equipment & the pools were very dirty unsure if it met health guidelines. In talking with the staff they said that the park had just been purchased and the previous owner let things go into disrepair. And the new owner had plans to update it. As a franchise it would be a good idea to follow up.

The one staff member I dealt with was very rude. Only one bathroom facility in the whole campground and it was located at the very front of the place. No signage to indicate where to go after hours and again….rude condescending staff

WE had an enjoyable stay at your campground. It is nice and clean, very quiet and well kept. There always seems to be someone circling on a golf cart if you need anything. 2 thumbs up!!!

Did not find some office staff very helpful. Didn't know how we could get to our site and didn't give us activity sheet information until second night. As a result my grandchildren missed some events they would've liked. Only one washroom for campers to use; fair walk from our sites. Pools were nice and man tending to them was very nice. Mining activity too expensive.

I was very disappointed when we arrived to find out the WIFI was shared among the campground, I peculiarly asked if there was good Internet when I booked. We were there for three days and only got on the WIFI for 15 minutes the whole time we were there. Was not happy.

Ivy Lea KOA always provides great service and has great amenities--especially for families. Two pools, family hot tub, adult hot tub, fantastic playground and bouncy pillow, dog park, clean and organized sites, washroom and showering facilities, cabin rentals, and more. Location is great! 10 minutes from Gananoque, 30 minutes from Kingston. Access to nearby beaches and boat rentals as well.

We had a great time! Loved all the activities for the kids. The staff were kind and helpful! Unfortunate that the fire ban was on, but outside of that, it was great! Perhaps the jumping pillow could be opened a bit earlier. The facility was always clean, the bathrooms were kept very clean. It was nice to have an area to wash dishes. The pool area was kept clean as well. We will stay again!

Terrain très bruyant. Probablement plus adapté pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants. Notre site était petit et boisé (80). Un arbre mort juste au dessus de la roulotte. On a eu peur de recevoir des branches.

There are a lot of trees that should be removed and become a problem with scratching your RV. Dust control is badly needed on the main road. When vehicles enter or leave the plumes of dust stick to everything

We staid at cabin 4 its cute i would just improve the lights its too dark inside. And improve more the cleaning our cabin had a lot of spider webs. But other way microwave and fridge, bed and floors were cleaned. Outdoors are nice showers and bathrooms are clean. The only thing was at night we could not sit outside the raccoons were coming so close to us. We are already planing for next ye

Beautifully located to explore 1000 Islands. Large dog park a plus. Only wash house aged, showers and toilets in one room. Compared to other KOAs limited adventures for children, e.g., no climbing tower, zip lines, water slides, fising pond. Spotty, unreliable wifi, unfortunately. Wifi should be like electricity: reliable and steady.

We absolutely love this campground and it’s the third year we’ve visited. Our consistent complaint is about the pool sizes. Residential pools don’t work for crowds and I believe this park would be FULL if you added a pool that could actually accommodate all the guests.

We stayed in PT/FHU site #35. The park was not bad, just older with some things, like fencing, flower beds, signage needing attention.. The playground looked amazing! The pool & hot tub were nice & clean. The location was quiet & close to the City Cruises Ivy Lea dock for the 1000 Island 2-Castle Cruise. The waterfront trail for biking or walking is at the entrance to the park.

Clean and well kept park. All amenities worked well. Pool is very small for the size of the park but again kept clean and neat. The park store could use more items.

Toilets lots of them and clean. Showers to tiny and to busy Swimming pool is a small child pool and very busy. Arcade closed and games out of order. Camping spots beautiful between trees and spacious enough. Overall impression okay but very busy.

Très beau site boisé sans service pour notre tente. Belles installations, mais les toilettes pourraient être nettoyées plus souvent, surtout lorsqu’il y a beaucoup de monde sur le site. Nous y retournerons!

We very much enjoyed our stay and the staff were great - helping with whatever we needed. The property could really use some updating. The Arcade was closed for the season - in August?? And there was no slip-slide pad as advertised. Hoping this can happen as we would return if it does. Thank you.

Kids had lots of fun. Was a bummer that no camp fires were allowed but I understand why. My grandsons had a tent campsite with 4 people but were allowed only one tent. Their 1 tent was a very small pup tent and they had to take it down because only 1 tent per site. I thought that was unfair considering what they paid for the campsite. Everything about the campground was GREAT, EXCEPT FOR THE $50 I HAD TO PAY TO SELECT MY SITE. I have never had a charge so high to select a site in a campground. The highest I experienced was $20 in the last 3 summers. This extra cost was extremely disappointing.

Stayed in a 35' Class A motorhome. Sites were easy to navigate. Staff and campers were very friendly and helpful. Pool area, dog park, and playground well kept and maintained. We did not have occasion to use the bath house, so cannot comment on it. The gravel roads were quite dusty, but this was because it has been very, very dry weather. Conveniently located to 1,000 Islands tours, bike path.

We were at this KOA for only one night. The campground is very nice clean and level. The people working in were friendly and helpful. We will be making arrangements for a longer stay very soon.

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
