We usually give you 5 stars, but we stayed in DC1 and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned on arrival, the main bedroom bed had crumbs all over it and the cabin was smelling musty

Everything was great except the fact that the adult hot tub we tried getting in there both times and both times it was full of kids even though it states adults only so was not impressed with that

Too short ! My wife had to come back to Pottawa (actually Ottawa but renamed for the potholes and lousy roads )for he dance class . Wonderful time as always .

Have been there in past, approximately 10 years ago and was impeccably kept. It has fallen greatly from its stature. Staff were excellent. Not sure why things are so deteriorating ???

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a deluxe cabin. The campground and cabin were clean and nicely maintained. We enjoyed our night skies and nightly campfires. The staff was helpful and very friendly. It is a beautiful and convenient location to stay and visit the Thousand Islands.

Possibly the best family campground in Ontario. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. Great onsite activities for children. Weekly themes each week for the entire family. Highly recommended. We can't wait to return.

Stayed for 2 nights in a deluxe kabin with bathroom. Kabin was good; however, shower stall was leaking water into the bathroom and soap dispenser was very dirty. Bathroom door would not stay closed and kept sliding open. For the price that I paid, I expect a lot better!

We really enjoyed the 1000 Islands / Ivy lea KOA. There warm pools and adult hot tub are the best! Unfortunately the only issue is with other campers letting there dogs bark continously and run off leash. Our friends staying there had there truck sratched down the door by a dog.

We had great time swimming and participating in the activities organized by the KOA Staff such as the scavenger hunt, popcorn and pancake breakfast.

Everything and everywhere was super clean no cigarette butts ect on sites Everyone was very nice and helped with information on boat cruises available....only downside a bit expensive

Much needed upgrades noted. Stayed in a deluxe cabin and the mattress is just awful. Indents drastically in the middle so both people roll towards the center of it. BBQ is starting to fall apart with top rack breaking gradually. Seats around the fireplace are rotting, wood needs to be changed. Having said that, it still is a great place to camp but just wish they would invest in some basic stuff.

Although the kids activities are very well done and staff is very helpful The cabins are really LESS than advertised. First, the fans in the cabins are FLITHY. MISSING alot of utensils and little things the are supposed to have. BBQ UTENSILS, serving spoon and forks. Mixing bowls. BBQ is extremely dirty, looks like it has not been cleaned in years. We have been to the site often. Our biggest issue on all of our stays has been the BBQ and Fridge at our site. Each time we have been to the site our BBQ has not worked. Either because the unit is faulty, or the gas is empty. Our fridge had many issues as well, with over freezer.

Only sad part was pool was cloudy and we were left itching , didn't go back next day . Maybe a water problem, idk, otherwise we loved the cabin and site

Easy to get to and a nice location to take a ride along the great bike path. Wish the pool was open until 8 not just 6.

One of the best KOAs in North America. Sire there are some with ocean and mountain views. However, this KOA wins for green initiatives, chemical free environment and fair pay for its employees. Wonder why you hear the frogs, birds and see wildlife more here, no pesticides! Quiet and clean. Val was awesome. And Pets are welcome. No hidden extra fees like other KOAs either lethbridge......

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
