Bathrooms are not cleaned well. Cobwebs in every corner, bathroom fans are full of dust and filth. Pools years ago were heated but not anymore. They use to give out an activity sheet when you checked in but didn’t this time. This campground falls far below KOA standards. One positive was that the staff seemed more friendly than previous years.

Stayed over the 4th of July pre-weekend… the place was PACKED!!! ‘which only means everyone loves this place… we had no issue and would stop in again.

This KOA is a dump! The cabins/playground are not clean. We stayed DC5 and could tell they barely cleaned in between guests. The bathroom toilet had debris on it, the shower had lots of stains and the shower curtain was dirty. The kitchen kettle, coffee maker and dish drainer were dirty. Floors and mattress protector were also dirty. The place is run down and not on par with other KOAs.

We love the convenient location of this park - so close to the bike trails on the parkway to ride and explore the local area.

Campground is becoming dated now. Still lots to do for the children but the pool and hot tub area could use a facelift with new gardens and interlocking stone. Area is showing its age with some dead trees around the campsites. Nice and quiet however and overall would still come back and stay.

Great KOA. Everybody on staff very friendly and acommadating. Very kids friendly. The only complaint I have is we had a handicapped person and the cabin wasn't handicapped friendly. ( stairs going in and no handrails in bathroom. Other than that everybody had a great time. We will be returning.

Nice location! Font desk daytime girl was sorta abrupt in the way she spoke, king of the castle, the boss of the world. When it rained it flooded the camp site.. The other staff were generally nice but sorta clueless. I got a lot of I don't know I don't know and 3 other sitting down having a conversation which was more important. Lots of dogs unattended.. I love dogs but barking 3 hrs strait ouff!

I was a little disappointed in tye cleanliness off the building/washrooms. A lot of it looked like it needed repair. We haven’t been there in a couple years and we were a bit disappointed. We probably won’t return unless we see some renovations

Loved the pools but was disappointed the water features (splash pad & waterfall) weren't on. Great park for kids - but noticed that some of the structures looked old and like they were falling over. Activity times weren't made known so missed most of them. Pool hours said 10-6pm but was actually 9pm. Overall, great campground just needs a bit more maintenance/upkeep & better communication.

very clean site, dog are welcome but you should specify not more than 1 dog per site... some site add up to 4 dog starting to bark at anybody taking a walk... the wifi was very poor...

Everything was really fine. We had a great stay. Would be back again. Just one thing is the women shower were not that clean. A women hygene product on the floor not thrown away for many days.

We came on a long weekend. It poured the first night and all day. We ended up gong home a day early as my daughter didn't feel well and son was tired of mosquitos. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but the pool was very busy. We liked that the tent sites were a decent size and treed for some privacy.

Premium site 82 was very good, although patio needs some t.l.c. Nice shade, great in hot weather although it was cool when we were there. Clean site, excellent fire pit. Pull through is a plus. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the play area, especially the jumping pad. Washrooms and showers were kept very clean. Camping was busy but not noisy. Friendly staff. Our 3rd stay, will repeat.

Clean cozy cabin, well equipped, pet friendly and super nice staff. The camp is very close to town for any last minute need. With our kids 12, 10 and 8 years we had a great family time there!

The site has beautiful nature and is very clean. If going with kids, all activities (pool, ping-pong, spa, jumping pillow) open at 10 which is way too late considering kids get up so early. Also the play structure is very big but literally falling apart. Overall good experience but needs some TLC and common sense

We’ve been there 8 years ago and found a very clean, nice and cozy campground. Thus year everything was worn out. The play ground was dirty and the colours are fading. The fences around the pool and spa area are crooked and full of spider webs and plants. The windows are dirty and cracked in some places. The overall green spots needs a lot of work to look nice. And so on and on. Sorry.

The front staff are friendly and very helpful. The staff at the pool were a great help and friendly. The showers and washrooms were close and very clean. Lots of room space between sites. The entire campground was very clean! Enjoyed our stay!

The bathrooms were dirty and had a really bad smell. I find that this koa has deteriorated. Pool closes at 6pm too early. Alos, eook that was given was wet. Lastly, too many skunks, racoon and chipmunks eating at our food.. Needs to be fumigated

As always it’s the staff , Jen looks after us and a couple we were staying with in a first class manner . Can’t wait til our next visit , maybe less rain next time hahaha .

Excellent service by the staff, Jennifer is very professional, courteous and accommodating. We added another day to our stay and Jennifer looked after it. The weather was not so great, rained every day, but that is completely out of our control. I would definitely book again at this facility.

we will not be returning to this location(ivy lea). The cabin was not cleaned properly before check in. We found cereal under the mattress on the bed.The other issue was maintenance staff tried to fix the sewer at lunch even though the emergency light had been on since the day bef It smelled awful and it was disgusting. A warning would have been nice so we could have planned our meals around this.

we had a family reunion , rented the deluxe cabin, Perfect size ,cabin, the only issue was it was humid and ac stopped working on Saturday June 22, Rained saturday night so we could not have windows open, Very hot in cabin Jim

Nice campground, for our first experience we loved it. Personnel are very friendly and very present making rounds to check if everything was going correctly. Also loved the fact that is a very puppy friendly.

This koa used to be a frequent stay for us,new owners took over and it's gone beyond downhill,from an unsafe pool area with broken, loose handrail going into pool ,bathrooms that wouldn't pass public health standards, unkempt campsites, grounds,glad we didn't rent a cabin,people were saying mouse droppings in cabins,poor & unclean, pool is dirty,they represent koa but koa assumes no responsibilty

The cabin was unclean. The barbeque was broken and did not work right I tried to explain it to the maintenance guy who I think was the owner. He got ignorant with me. And said to him that we could leave he told me then then maybe that’s what you should do so we checked out a day early. I will never go to this KOA again we like KOA camping and try to hit two or three in the summer the summer mont

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
