the campsites - great in size - the table and chair set provided on the site were nice, except for the umbrella's on the tables - they were very dirty, ripped and should be removed or replaced. The pool - cloudy, dirty and low level of water. The garbage area - very unsanitary. the staff - friendly and knowledgable. bathroom and showers - dirty

This was our first stay at this KOA. Loved how it was set back from the highway, warm pools, wagon rides, lots to do and friendly staff. Wifi was non-existent and sites a bit small but we had a great time!

We booked our group in Feb after discussing with the manager the location of the cabins. We were told we would all be next to each other. We ending up having 3 cabins in a row, then a stranger, and one more cabin. The Deluxe cabin we booked was a walk away. We needed them to be close so that we could leave kids at night. I was also disappointed that the office, lounge and pool were not accessible

No assistance finding site or which way to approach site once found. Note said turn at pool. You can’t see the pool for bushes and fencing.Labelling it with a sign would have helped. Mallorytown has someone guide you in.Landscaping way over grown and messy.Wood purchased was wet and sizzling-not ideal to get afire going with a ton of smoke getting directed to other sites.Pos- nice kids working

We found the pool rather murky this year. And our bbq at the cabin really needed a good cleaning. The drip tray was full of grease and debris. Also shower in cabin could use some renovating and cleaning. And a good thing we brought lawn chairs because there were none at the cabin. Staff at front desk nice and friendly as always.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially because of the treed area in the tent area. Our boys loved the bouncy pillow and playground, despite it being old. They also loved the pool and waterslide despite the pools being small. My only complaint which is really too bad because it’s a bigger one- the bathrooms were dirty and weren’t properly cleaned. If this was remedied, this would be a great pl

We rented one of the canins that was supposed to sleep 6. The pull out bed in the eating area was too short for a person who is taller than 5'5. Fitting 2 people on the bed was also not possible. This was not a space that fits 6 people. Very disappointed for the cost

Good place if you have kids. Ours are grown. Our site was unlevel and the site next to us firepit too close. We never used our firepit. They came to clean it out the morning we were leaving. Picked up trash, cig butts from site when we arrived. It is centrally located to alot of things to do. Finding KOAs are hit or miss.

This place was run down. The site we had wasn’t very good even with it being a premium lot. It was uneven, weird wooden box with weeds in it, Old picnic talk. The washroom was newer but very unclean didn’t seem to matter what time of day. The seasonal camper weren’t not friendly and ran the pool area. We were told your only weekends camper. Booked two nights, cancelled one. Showers old and grubby, staff trimming grass noisily for eternity, office staff great, wifi very weak, sights too close together in open field.

Although I reserved 5 months ahead of time, I could not get the kind of site I requested. I was offered a different type of site at a higher price. I was told no sites were available like the one I requested. When we arrived at the campground, there were many, many sites available. I was not happy in being taken advantage of!

Firewood was damp, office finally issued partial amount, this after spending $1200 on two cabins. Kettle was caked in calcium, and propane tank on the BBQ was empty.Grandkids had fun, but more detailed inspection is required when prepping cabins for the next guests.

We were on a great site however the heavy rains kept us from enjoying the features. Way, way too many permanent sites and storage site mixed in between camping sites.

Very disappointing for a KOA park!! The camp store was very bare, the gardens were weedy and overgrown, and the washrooms were disgusting!! Floors, sinks, and showers dirty! And no soap in womens washroom.. how could this be a KOA park! Check in was great and the front desk staff were friendly. We watched the wagon ride pass by our site and the staff looked totally miserable! You can do better!

Compared to other KOA campgrounds this one has not been as nice. The washrooms are in need of upgrading and better cleanliness. Acrivities for kids was limited, even the described wagon rides and activities promoted on the website were not offered. The cabin was not cleaned properly and the trailer area has severe drainage issues. Although we made the mist of our stay, we would not return.

Nice swimming pool and playground for the kids. Sadly, not very happy about the shower's and toilet's cleanliness. The shower/toilet facilities could also use a little love and renovating.

The site we had was awesome, the staff was very friendly but the grounds needed some clean up and maintenance. The front entrance was nasty! not much of a welcome and it would not have taken much to clean and groom the place. The garbage area was extremely filthy. The bathrooms were complicated to get to by having to go to the back of the main office, and the showers were gross!

The washrooms were disgusting in the mornings, but that is caused by disgusting campers, but they could have cleaned them earlier. Also, I have a 33ft trailer plus truck, our site was small and a challenge to get in.

Space is small, next to neighbor. Clean up in restroom need improvement. Location is very good. Maybe rent bike as the trail bike is just in front of the camping . Thank you

The campground has a very nice pool and hot tub. The bad part was our 3 service camp site #118. It was not level and the sewage was high as our trailer so water would not drain out. The camp staff won't do anything about this issue. There was no soap in the shower dispensers. No garbage pickup. There are a few nice camp sites but it looks run down. I don't recommend this campground.

Our ceiling fan didn’t work while the light was off, so we were given two very small desk fans that did not compare in effectiveness. Our kids were looking forward to using the splash pad on the map which didn’t exist. There is very little shade around the jumping pillow and playground so at midday they were often too hot to use. We enjoyed our stay with our grandaughter. She loved the activities and sat. Bbq. Pools were lovely. The bathrooms could be better maintained. More frequent checks. Just feel the camp could be better watched. Pool area should be monitored more carefully. A lot of dangerous activity in this area. We will likely return.

Kids loved the waterslide! Our cabin was located in the shade which was awesome cause it was so hot during our stay. We had a fantastic time and will be back.

Stay Away!!! Bed bug infestation and unclean. Cabin 5-June 21-24, 2024. Noticed some bites on the 24th. More appeared during the next 3 days. Visited the doctor due to the gigantic welts that the bites caused on my face and arms. The bites on my son and daughter only appeared 10-14 days later. We found a couple of bed bugs in the washing machine after having washed the sleeping bags we used.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is that the arcade for the kids needs an overhaul…. Or remove completely! The kids were excited to use it but the air hockey didn’t work and another game also out of the 4 games 2 didn’t work. Everything else was great.

The young men who worked the check in desk were very helpful and considerate. The park advertises WiFi available but it is so weak you cannot use it at a site to even check email. Basically it is non existent. The park washrooms show their age !! And we’re very unclean. This is an older park showing its need for a complete update.

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
