We were very happy with our total stay. The cottage was super and well equipped. The hot tub was really good too! We definetly would like to visit this KOA again.

Nice spot with lots of stuff to do nearby. Washrooms, especially the showers could use a makeover. Sites are ok, we booked a premium patio/garden site - ok, but not what we would normally expect from a KOA.

We stayed at the Ivy Lea KOA several years ago and the park has deteriorated since our first stay. Certainly not up to the standards that we have encountered at other KOA campgrounds.

Les installations seraient dû pour être rénovés, mais les employés sont gentils et la piste cyclable est proche. Trop dispendieux pour les terrains offerts!

The camping sites are pretty good and the the kids facilities are pretty good too but if you need Wifi it’s is nonexistent at your site only at the store

We always have an awesome time at the KOA. The only comment I have about this particular stay was in our cabin, DC2, the shower was full of mold at the bottom. Tons of black mold. Would have been nice if it was cleaned properly, and the bathroom door was very hard to open and close, the kids could not do it themselves. Other than those 2 issues it was fun.

This is our 4th time staying at the Ivy Lea KOA. Each time we've enjoyed the friendly and quiet atmosphere of this facility. Can't wait until next year!

“I’ve been a member of KOA for the longest time I can remembered but 1000 island KOA Ivy Lea is the first one who don’t picked up garage. It’s no difference than a private campground. I’ve been satisfied of all the KOA I’ve been because I know the standards I’m expecting. Some KOA’s are smaller than the other but still provide full service but not Ivy Lea. Totally disappointed.

Stay here this past weekend & disappointed at the1st the park had no lights Complete darkness. arriving at the office not very friendly showed us on the map our site & we left. The site are very close to each other also on top on one another. The park was very unkempt & dirty. The wifi didn’t work. For the price you pay not worth it KOA have Standards and this doesn’t come close to it

Site was small, no sewer on the lot, but vacant lot beside us had it. Place was run down, fountain at front entrance hadn't been cleaned in a couple seasons �� Firepit was a galvanized drain pipe with razor sharp edge. Come on, how do you let that happen? Dumping station beside the kids playground? Why? And on a hill? $100. Per night is a total mistake. KOA better pop in for a visit.

Really disappointed to see that they are not taking time to correct some of the issues that seem to be mentioned in the reviews. Been coming here for more than 10 yrs already...sad to see the deterioration of the furniture of the cabins, the dirt in and on the fans....and it's really time to change the mattress in the Deluxe ones...its clearly sagging in the middle..just look under the bed...

The ladies showers were not clean. The adult pool was not heated. We werent able to hike the the eco trail. The trail is not maintained. But our site was beautiful and quiet. The workers were very nice and helpful.

Très beaux sites dans la partie boisée. Belles installations à notre disposition. Par contre, douches lamentables (porte qui ne ferme pas, débit d'eau très faible, propreté laissant à désirer).

We have come many times to this KOA. Beautiful location and nice campground. Compared to 8 years ago we see a gradual decline in the Quality of certain facilities. Mainly the bathrooms. (Door hinges, hooks broken, many comwebs and simple maintenance not upto date). Something perhaps to keep an eye on for 2025

Disappointed with how poorly cleaned the public washrooms and slide at pool were. The sites were unlevel, and park needs fixing as there are sharp holes in climbing structures for small children. Too fixated on price gouging but not supplying anything to make up for it. Was not worth the money to stay here. Completely dreary atmosphere. Your cat is sick and needs to see a vet ASAP. Health ri

Showers and bathrooms were not clean. Lots of mold. Really needs to have an update and repair on the washroom department. Friendly people. Easy to book, but should have told us that fraserway RV rentals have a 10% discount. Nice playground for kids.

Bathrooms were gross. Used to be cleaned throughout the day but not this time. Activities for the kids are repetitive. Need new games/stuff for them to do. Bring back movie night

Lot 33: size of the lot to small, not enough gravel (with the rain we were walking in mud) not enough grass. Wifi was almost inexistante. Pit fire �� to high. Could not see/enjoy the fire. Location was great. Survey: I clicked French and only English is available. 3 services were good. Welcome was great from the office.

Très bien aménagé pour les familles. Propreté laisse à désirer aux salles de bain et douches de l’accueil. Moisissures sur la porte. Beaucoup de saleté incrusté dans les coins et le long des murs. Plancher pas propre du tout. Manque de savon dans certains distributeurs. Douches plancher très sale en dessous du tapis .

Upon arrival our cabin was 1) filthy inside (lots of cleaning necessary by us), 2) AC pumping but air had weird smell (last time filter cleaned... dunno?), 3) outside around doors & windows covered w spiderwebs & bugs (incl large spiders), 3) cruddy gross bbq, 4) small uneven campsite couldn't find a spot to even setup our picnic table flat. Left w 3 (of 4) nights remaining, refunded 1 night

If I could rate this KOA 3 1/2 stars, that would be more accurate. The check in on Thursday was very friendly and quickly done. We appreciated the firewood delivery too. We have been coming here for years, and the facilities were so well maintained, it felt a little posh for a campground and we didn’t mind the price. Please..spruce up the fencing around the pool, picnic tables etc.

We had a total of 4 campsites booked for our 3 children with their young children all under 7 years of age and ourselves. We were very disappointed on arrival to have all our sites scattered throughout the park after requesting to be near each other.. My daughter had a very small site on the corner and was told to park across the street.. Everyone did enjoy the your activities and food offered,

Everything was perfect the only thing I can say is the showers need to be updated and it would be nice to have more activities like an area with volleyball bean bags crocket or something else we’ve been other KOA and they had more spot for activities But nice and pleasant staff and activities for kids

Updated – 2026, Jun: This has become our family's favourite campground. All sites are extremely well levelled and groomed. The whole staff is always friendly and available to help. The activities for adults and kids are just enough, and the amenities are very well-maintained. Bottom line: We strongly recommend The Ivy Lea KOA Holiday. 2025, July: This is one of my top 3 KOA options in Ontario. The site was very well-groomed, from the gravel to the trees, with some brownie points to the fire pit closer to the usable area instead of far in the street. The kid's playground, the jumping pad, the heated pools (one with a small water slide – the kids go crazy at it), and the jacuzzi for (adults only) deserve a special shout-out.
