Nice folks running the KOA, which was clean and quiet. It’s located far enough from highway to reduce noise. Great trees. Sites are gravel, and some slope front to back—so bring extra blocks.

A lovely campground - very quiet and well kept. Appreciated the great breakfast offered on site. Good access to many of the sights in the Badlands.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed everything the campground had to offer. Conveniently located to the beautiful town of Hot Springs SD and all the Blackhills has to offer. We will definitely be coming back.

There are only a few “level” spaces. MAKE sure you bring your leveling blocks! If you make a reservation make sure you ASK for a level or (ask for a level as they have)……. Our space also was the width of the road from the other rv camp sites.

We enjoyed our stay with you very much, your staff was excellent, very helpful. The only negative was you Wi-Fi was very poor, we were not able to use it even though we were pretty close to the office.

This was our 2nd unplanned visit to this KOA. The first stay was so pleasant, we decided to go an hour out of our way to stay on our trip back home. Vicky and her husband were so friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities were super clean. We will include this KOA any time we’re driving through SD.

Two nights in a nice place. The space could be a little more leveled. And the WiFi is not as good as it could be. All other amenities (Pool, Lounge-Area etc. ) were good and the staff was very kind and helpful.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. Each campsite had the perfect tree coverage to block the hot sun. By far the best KOA I’ve ever stayed at in South Dakota!

Very nice park with super nice sites and friendly staff. Breakfast on site is reasonably priced. We used this as a base camp to explore Black Hills and the Badlands. We had a patio site with a grill, and when we were buying a grill brush, the staff said wait - we will clean it. Spacious sites and good Kamp K-9. Easy in and out.

The new owners are very nice and super responsive. They were very helpful with giving us a spot without a reservation. We really enjoyed the pool and dog park.

We were there for just one night since we were traveling, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. When I told the gentlemen checking us in that we were going to Mt Rushmore area, he took a map and highlighted places that were a must see. He was not wrong! Facilities were clean, campground was clean, and it was easy to find.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The sites are mostly level. Most had sufficient room around them. The tent sites looked awesome. Water pressure was great. It is very peaceful amongst the pine trees. Just wish the mosquitoes were sprayed so one could enjoy the numerous walking areas more.

Stay here! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The park is manicured and clean! They offer breakfast each morning and they have a PetPark. They also offer pizza delivered to your site. We had one of the new patio sites which came with table and chairs and a fire ring and grill. The pool was sparkling clean, Thy really care about your experience. Close to Mammoth Cave & Wind Cave.

Loved that the cabins were nestled in the trees. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, however we had a hard time checking in at 2pm because the office was closed until 4pm. Nice playground for kids. Clean bathrooms, but the air freshener was overpowering. Quiet, easy access to Hot Springs Town. Cabin was fine and had heat and AC.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
