Hot Springs/ Black Hill KOA Holiday is a family-friendly campground and RV Park in Hot Springs that gives you a perfect starting point to explore the Black Hills. Our campground/RV Park is right off U.S. Highway 79, putting you in a great position to visit local attractions. Spend the day outside by visiting Custer State Park for hiking, biking, fishing, seeing the buffalo and other local wildlife or horseback riding. If you want to experience more thrills or take some time to cool off, visit Windcave National Park. You and your family can also spend time in the natural hot springs of Cascade Falls, visit Evans Plunge or go for a tour of the Mammoth Site, where you can tour the indoor active dig site and view Ice Age fossils. The Mammoth Site offers self-guided tours, enhanced educational experience, Summer Educational Programs, space and science activities and stay active with an indoor ropes course and laser tag.

Our Campsites
If you want to experience the Black Hills, our campground is open April 1-October 31. We have many campsites you can explore, whether you prefer glamping or traditional camping. Bring your RV to set up at an RV Site with a convenient KOA Patio™. If you have pets, you can bring them with you! Our large dog park is a fenced area so your pets can run around safely. We have pull-thru and back-in RV Sites and can accommodate rigs of all sizes. We also have several lodging options for those who enjoy camping without an RV. Our Deluxe Cabins and Camping Cabins let you choose between luxurious and classic camping to suit your preferences. The Deluxe Cabins have full baths, partial kitchens and a KOA Patio™ to provide the utmost comfort. Our Camping Cabins offer a more traditional camping experience, by not having a kitchen or bathroom. If you want to go back to basics, set up at one of our Tent Sites. You can sleep under the stars while still having access to water and electricity. Our campground near Hot Springs has everything you need for the perfect camping experience.
