Situated in the vibrant heart of downtown Hot Springs, the National Park is enveloped by shops, diners, roadways, and various attractions. For those seeking a break from urban life, the park offers an extensive network of hiking trails and stunning mountain overlooks, providing a perfect retreat into nature. With its ancient thermal springs, breathtaking mountain vistas, striking geological features, scenic forest hikes, and plentiful creeks, this park offers a blend of natural beauty and outdoor adventure unlike anywhere else. The thermal spring water comes out of the ground at 143F (so hot)! As such, there are no soaking opportunities outdoors. There are two Bathhouses, the Buckstaff and the Quapaw, where you can safely get into the thermal waters. Reservations are encouraged and recommended at each bathhouse.
