we loved every second of being there. The Staff members were really kind and helpful to us when we needed them, and grandpas kitchen was really nice and clean. all the campers that was there were really respectful of others, which made it a plus. being as other places we have stayed the campers were really loud. we left there really refreshed and ready for another trip to another koa;-)

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The showers were top notch and will spoil us at any other campground. You won’t be disappointed staying here, we will definitely stay if we are ever back in the area.

This is the best KOA that we've stayed in. They are super nice and have it all in this one location.

The roads in the park are very narrow and hard to navigate due to the terrain of parks location. If you have any unit over 30 feet, be prepared to work your way through the park. The sites are good sized and comfortable. The staff was good and helpful.

Having stayed here several times, it is lovely that I am never disappointed in the excellence of all things that matter. Grandpa's Griddle was a yummy and clean place to have breakfast on check-out morning.

The restroom facilities, grounds, an camping cabins were excellent and could not be improved. But the noise at all hours coming from the highway is simply intolerable. It was really unpleasant to be outside at the picnic table. And the noise intruded into the cabin as well. You need to relocate these cabins away from the highway, and use the land adjacent to the highway for parking and the like

Very impressed by the welcoming sign with the names of expected visitors. Employees were very polite and helpful. The store was stocked with lots of items. I would like to thank Eva and Cleta for helping me find everything I needed. Enjoyed the swimming pool immensely. The best hot shower ever. Especially loved the individual bathroom/shower combo rooms! My dog had a nice K-9 park to run in too.

Horrible. Site so unlevel it bent May stabilizer. They moved us to a site that the camp next to us fire box was almost touching my slide out so tight. When I complained about the unevenness of first site the lady at office said I tried to build it level. I jumped up and down but it’s on the side of a mountain and I couldn’t make it more level. I am so disappointed and will be out $600 +

GREAT. Had some issues with the cable reception and the park attendants checked for signal, hook up, and TV settings. Got it up and running in no time. (turned out to be operator error) ;-)

Finally got to get back to camping since covid. Bought a new camper, worked great. Greeted by Susan, what a nice , friendly lady to check us in. We also rented a cabin for my son & daughter in law. Had a great time. Bathrooms are immaculate, recently remodeled. We stayed 1 xtra night. Thank you KOA staff. Brian Farnsworth

Easy access to the National Park. Very comfy stay. Always looking for a fresh tub of body butter from the Park gift shop...and a few jugs of the spring water makes all my cares disappear. Love the KOA. Thanks for the love shown in caring for everything.

Clogged toilet, poor communication, needs exit signs, pool was closed but the website stated it was open. Won't be back. If this was my first KOA it would have been my last.

We stayed at site A9, our first back-in site. It is a full hook-up gravel site. A young person named Ava guided us into our site with ZERO difficulty. Ava is a huge asset to the KOA. Always delightful, helpful and pleasant. Every staff member that we came in contact with has be amazing. We cannot stress enough what a big difference the staff can make during a stay and they nailed it! This is one of the best KOAs that we have stayed at so far. Site A9 is a full hook-up that is pretty shaded by trees. In fact, a majority of the sites are shaded by trees. One downside to the trees is that we are finding large carpenter ants both inside and outside, but it comes with the territory. The bathrooms are single rooms with a toilet and shower that are always clean. The laundry room is very clean and well kept. They even have a utility sink to wash dedicates. Internet......was an issue. StarLink becomes a nice paperweight as there are way too many trees to obtain a signal at all. However, our backup of Verizon 5g Home Internet worked amazingly. The KOA Wifi was hit or miss. Our AT&T cell service and hotspot were great. If you're a digital nomad, make sure you have backups for your backup. There is a large dog area and some walking trails. The campground sits outside of the downtown area. Close enough to be convenient but far enough to be away from the congestion and the sketchiness of some areas. There is an ice cream van that drives around in the evening. If he is having no luck, his speed accelerates and can be scary if you're walking ~ think Jeepers Creepers movie style. The breakfast that is served Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Grandpa's Griddle) is at a bargain price and is actually pretty tasty. In our opinion, the “Pond” site is the best site in the campground. It sits parallel to a pond that has a little water feature. The Pond site is a pull-thru full hook-up site. When leaving the KOA and getting onto the highway, you must traverse an extremely steep section. You will not miss it. There are huge gouges in the road from previous campers. As an alternative, you can turn right when leaving the campground which will also lead you to 70, this allows you to avoid losing your bumper or dragging our hitch.
