We love this campground! Friendly staff, clean facilities, fun campground with lots to do. Can't wait to visit again!

Staff was helpful and attentive. Although near to the highway, traffic noise was not significant. Showers and Bathrooms are great, very well kept and cleaned regularly and well. The downside was there was no grills available for the firepit nor a designated BBQ. If you intend to cook on the fire, make sure to bring your own grill.

Very nice campground. Wonderful hosts.

Lovely site. Huge site

Campsite 31 is the equivalent to parking along a median strip. Barely had enough room to safely open our slide out without worrying about it being hit by a passing vehicle. The opposite side is an embankment with another road at the bottom of it. If it wasn't for the playground for our granddaughter, I would have given it a 1 star.

Pool was great! Had some good activities for the kids during the holidays. Fireworks were outstanding!

The site we had was all gravel and very slopped. We were not able to get our RV level. It was right off the interstate so there was some traffic noise. I don’t think we would stay for more than one night. Staff was very nice and property was very well maintained.

We stayed 3 nights. The campground is awesome but the highway noise was too much for us.

Very nice staff, clean showers/restrooms. But nothing is level - its not a campsite if its +/- 5° off in both directions. I get the entire camp is built into a hill - but its a ZERO stars as a campground if you can't level the sites. At least close to level. (Our RV autoleveler reported the site as too dangerous to even attempt leveling!!!)

This was our 2nd KOA stay.we were on the bottom row which is highly subjective to truck noise from I-65. The bottom row is gravel with a steel fire pit and steel picnic table. The full hook ups was the only thing nice about our spot which was 087. Not as level as it could be and some guy was running a big blower back and forth on the parking area. Not a restful situation for us.

Site #35 - we stayed in our 44ft fifth wheel. Site very unlevel, tires were about 6 inches off the ground on passenger side. Camper stairs land at edge of road. Couldn't use awnings. Thankful we don't have children we needed to worry about walking out of the camper and almost directly into the "road." Park was nice and clean, especially the showers.

During our stay we had damaging weather come through, I wish the team here had a way to notify guests or a way to come to every site and tell the guest what’s happening. I also don’t think your filter on your pool is working right, the pool was very cloudy. Other wise everything was as expected.

This location needs to advertise that they are NOT big rig friendly. The map on the site makes you think there are lots of big sites. However, NONE of these gravel sites are level enough to drop the jacks without giving an excessive slope alarm and they are also not wide enough to open slides. Very disappointed.

Would have rated a 5-in a great location, rest rooms are super clean, and the setting on the terraced hill side is beautiful. huge negative- Sewer sites are limited which is fine if the dump station works. To access the dump station you have to exit the park, come back in and the station is located on a very unlevel uphill slope. Our tank would not drain in this position so we could not empty.

Staff was very friendly and informatuve. Didn't like having no sewer and dump station was closed on the side we needed. Clean and grounds were pretty.

Enjoyed our stay and the kid games. Place seemed a little short staffed.

Had trouble seeing the roadway arrows after entering the park. Very small. Not as welcoming as other parks that i have been to but not rude either. Bathrooms were amazing.

Only complaint is traffic noise from highway and Love's. Very nice campground.

Pretty nice campground, very clean. There are some animals on property 2 mini horses, a full size horse and a couple of turkeys. These turkeys roam the campground, they are friendly but be advised if you have dogs or that’s not you’re thing.

I really didn’t care for the way campsites were set up. No dump at our site.

Beautiful, clean property with stunning views. The amenities like the jump pad, pool, mini golf and playground are fun for the kids. The bathrooms are clean.

Beautiful well maintained campground. Desk worker very nice and friendly.

Beautiful campground near lots of attractions. Clean. Great fishing pond. Very friendly employees. Sites are tricky to level campers as mentioned by others. Laundry was clean and had 4 washers yet only 2 dryers of which one was broken and had been since before our stay. Otherwise would have been 5 star.

Stayed 6/20-24; site 93. If you ever wanted to stay at a KOA without feeling like you were staying at the campground, do I have the site for you. A gravel/red dirt parking lot, a 12in incline, and no shade anywhere. Counting semi’s rumbling down I-65 300 yds away was enjoyable…. I will say the office attendant was pleasant and the bath house was very good.

We made a quick overnight drop-in between travel days. We showed up late, but easily followed the map taped to the door with directions in marker to our site. It was very easy to navigate, and I appreciated the large pull through area. We needed to do some leveling on one side, but to be expected when camping in such a beautiful hilly campground. Would love to stay longer next time!

We had a two night stay while exploring Mammoth Caves. Wonderful campground. Patchy Wi-Fi, hard to watch TV.
Jun 23, 2023
The bath house was super nice. The playground equipment was in disrepair along with the putt putt course. The campsites were less than level and unappealing. I understand that this is just a pass through location, but could stand to benefit from some upgrades.

centrally located among all the great tourist spots. Easy in and out, with a fuel station right outside the property.

Very nice facility. Some noise was heard from being so close to I-65

Gave our site away, put us in a mud hole ,it rained and our camper was muddy and so was our truck,I've always had good experiences at Koa, this was awfull! It's a shame we paid for a deluxe site with concrete and got a mud hole! WE ARE NOT HAPPY with horse cave koa

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and maintained. But... Only site with no picnic table Traffic noise Zero tv stations

We enjoyed our stay, the campground is very well put together and we loved your horses on the premises!

We rented a cabin for my son to stay near us and we camped in our RV. The view from the cabin and the wagons was beautiful at sunset. We felt like we were in the country but not far from the interstate. We had a nice shady spot. The store and office were nice.

Parking space was very unlevel. Fence around dog run was damaged and not secure, not usable. Other's trash was setting in front of our space.
Jun 20, 2023
It was a nice facility with some very nice spots, however not great for our size rig. The pull thru spots were a gravel lot with no grass or trees and a fairly severe slope.

Lovely campground. Deceiving photos. Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $60/night Stayed 8 nights Site #87 Stayed here end of-Aug 2023. Pull-through 50 amp. FHU. ***Photos—Sites 84-93: The photos on their site are not accurate. There is only rocky gravel. No grass on the sites at all. See my photos.*** THE GOOD: -Sites: Very spacious sites. The sites in pull throughs near the barn are not level. Very high in front and need to adjust a good amount left to right. -Gas/restaurants/groceries: It is within 10 min of anything you might need. -Location: several caves to explore within 5 min. Mammoth Cave NP 20 min away. -Showers/Bathrooms: Great bathrooms / showers! Private with locking door. Full bathroom like you would have at home with nicely tiled walls. -Nice setting: The barn, fishing pond, and farm behind the campground make this campground really comfy. -Near interstate: Yes. Campground WiFi: -Really good and reliable (for campground wifi) during our stay. Cell/hotspot using booster: -AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G) -Verizon (2 of 4 bars—5G) Note: Cell service is unstable and drops often. Still works. Just helpful to know ahead of time.

AWESOME restroom and showers! Sonia was very friendly! Campground was easy to access, had a great view. Day trips to caves and surrounding areas not more than an hour. Would definitely stay there again! Looks like they are expanding. Glad to see it.

What an amazing, relaxing stay! We were in the area visiting family and decided to splurge and stay in the treehouse cabin. I didn't want to leave!!! Beautiful views at sunset, tons of outdoor space, and stunning interior. Lots for kids to do. (I had to try the jumping pillow for myself! Highly recommend!) The staff are so sweet, especially Lisa. Places like this are why we stay at KOAs and not hotels! Can't beat it!
