General Campground Information

General INFO

We are open from 8 am to 8 pm  Central Time, except on off season( may contact campground in regards to hours)
Check in for Rv and Tent sites are 12:00 central time Check out is 11:00 central time.
Cabin check in time is 4:00 central time and check out is 11:00 cental time.
We sale fire wood on site no out side firewood is allowed.
Pool is open from 9 am to 8 pm cental time.
Visitors must check in at office to receive a visitors pass.
Quite time in the park is 10:00 pm

Campground Updates Complete

Campground has under went some changes. So please be aware site numbers have changed and electrical upgrades have been made and tent sites have been removed. For more information contact us at 270-786-2819 or 1-800-562-2809.

Jump Pillow

Enjoy The jump pillow, The Jumping Pillow is for all...Please be courteous to others. Open From May to November. (Unless weather is bad ,will close sooner.)

Fishing

Hey all you fisherman/women! No license required to fish, so sit back and relax and enjoy the catch. You do have to release all fish back.

Fishing

Hey all you fisherman/women! No license required to fish, so sit back and relax and enjoy the catch. You do have to release all fish back.

Firewood Policy

The bring in of firewood is prohibited. Due to the Emerald Ash Borer and the potential of destruction it has on the ash tree. Ash trees are significant forest and landscape component species throughout Kentucky. Firewood is sold here at the campground for a fee of $8.00 per bundle ( split seasoned wood.)

Vistior Policy

Visitors are allows and must sign in at the office and sign out. Visitors can pay a fee to stay the night.

Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are from 10:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. central time. Please respect your fellow campers!

Swimming Pool

Opens on Memorial Weekend and closes on Labor Day. Pool hours 9:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. (No lifeguard on duty) NO Pets in pool area.Children under the age 17 must be accompanied by an adult. All rules posted at swimming pool.

Welcome to the Horse Cave KOA . This KOA was Established in 1969. Jason & Sonya Gedda purchased the campground in 2004. Since then, the couple has made several improvements to the facility. Come on out and enjoy a relaxing Family & Friend getaway treat.
