Restrooms very clean and camp grounds well maintained. Close to Mammoth Cave and a Buckee's fuel service station. Only downside was WIFI signal weak; often no signal at all. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

This was a nice place to stay. The campfire wood bundles were unusually small and not a good value. Although not a problem that could be fixed, the road noise from Interstate 65 made it difficult to even have conversations around the campfire in the evening.

We only stayed 1 night but we did get to enjoy the fishing pond. My one complaint would be the height of the sewer pipe. It was way too high and made it difficult to empty our tanks. The site next to us had a sewer inlet that was almost flush to the ground which is how it should. If we’d been staying more than 1 night I would have asked for a different spot.

Bathrooms are not cleaned very often, very dirty. Would not accommodate our request from year ago and put us quite far from our family & the campground was empty MOST of the time we were there. Not a recommended KOA. Will not stay there again. I would travel just a tad further to Bowling Green. A tone more things to do.

our bathhouse is cleaned daily and check throughout the day. yes, if we can full fill a request, we do so. unfortunately, your request could not be fulfilled but was able to keep you in the same area. Sorry we were not a fit for your stay.

Other than mammoth cave, there is nothing else to do in the area. We were camping with another family and informed them of this a year ago. We were not close. Yet, during the week there were several sites open between us. We were given the excuse that there was another group and yet those sites were open. Disappointing. The whole campground closed at 8pm including the pool. Not the best KOA.

upon checking in you were giving a packet with what our area offers. Yes, we close at 8 you were aware of this at time of booking. We cannot keep pool open after hours. Yes, we had another group here and we did our best to accommodate your stay. you seamed really pleased while here with no complaint

Clean, neat grounds and excellent facilities! The campgrounds were spotless, and the bath/shower house was very clean and well-maintained. The camp office was a standout actually open and accessible until 8pm. 10 stars for that! The staff was genuinely helpful and courteous. The Horse Cave facility did not care - rain or shine - if you are not out by the 11 am check out, need $10 every hour. Very mean and greedy facility. Would never want to stay there.

not sure what issue occurred but we do charge a late fee for late check-out just like all KOA' do. sorry, this upset you, but we did not charge a early check-in fee.

We were parked right across from the playground and that was great, having our 3 grandkids. The shower rooms were great, and the kids really enjoyed the pool.

Nice level sites, clean bathrooms and campground with a nice view all around. Good location for cave visits but not near bourbon trail as stated in on the website. Water pressure was very low.

We were apart of a group who had 3 full hook-up sites, 1 teepee and 2 cabins. We had a great time! The pull through sites at the bottom would be great if they were concrete or more level. We had trouble leveling off our camper when pulling in. It's also very noisy with the highway which we didn't know until we got there. In hindsight, we would've wanted to near the teepee.

Lots of care by owners of the property is clear. Many new additional types of stay options, tree houses, teepees whose insides look like a cabin, Conestoga wagons with AC. Can see infrastructure improvements being made. Our site was great for us, gravel, level and long enough for 32 ft rig. Some road noise but could sleep through it. WiFi good. Lots of things to see in the area.

We enjoyed the camping overall. We were a little disappointed the slide is only open Thursday through Saturday. Also was disappointed about the charge for kids to stay and camp.

This could be a very nice park, as they have very nice cabins and facilities. Unfortunately all of the sites in the area we were assigned had a very pronounced slope. We were unable to get level even with the rear wheels of our 35 foot 5th wheel off the ground several inches. We saw others having the same problem. The area currently expanding the park but should improve what already exists.

My husband and I, along with our dogs, stayed for one night. We enjoyed walking around on the beautiful grounds, the pool, the K-9 park, and we also rented a golf cart. The young gal working the camp store was friendly. She was gracious to show us the inside of a wagon, for a possible stay with our grandkids on a future visit.

Great location for anyone with children. Plenty of amenities to keep them occupied. Very convenient to Mammoth Cave and surrounding cave experiences. Would recommend earplugs for sleeping due to its proximity to the highway. Facilities were well kept and very clean.

Stay was good. Interstate noise was heard during the night, but if your a/c is running, a/c drowns the noise. If going back to that area, I would stay again.

Good place to stop for a night, but not longer. Being parallel and so close to the road was not ideal. The most unlevel KOA site we’ve been in. Picnic table at the road and on a tilt was not usable. Exiting the site to leave, good thing site in front was empty because that was the only way out. Potential damage if tried coming out our site with drain grate and pipe at fire pit.

Horse Cave KOA is a wonderful location, very clean and serene. The folks there are friendly and courteous, highly recommend anyone have a stay.

The staff here is great!!! Very friendly! Lsundry room and bathroom/showers FANTASTIC! The only improvement or modification would be the hookups to the sewer. They are a little too high and we just had to keep raising our hose that went to it to empty it! Lovely campground and great people! We enjoyed our stay in Kentucky!!

Hosts are very accommodating; bathrooms and laundry clean and functioning. Scenery is pretty looking out into meadow and trees. They had some construction going on but this didn’t effect us in any way. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great time! Lots of activities for kids. Close to a lot of attractions. Staff was great and accommodating. Camper sites are fine. Not very deep so couldn’t put out awning all the way without being in road and leveling took a little more. Would not deter us from coming back.

Nice Campground looks like they are doing renovations but no security. We had neighbors pull in at night and move the picnic table and fire pit into middle of the road and left it like that all night. Then we has someone in a Dodge Charger/challenger use the roads in Campground as a drag strip. Going pretty fast down the roads a bunch of times until they saw me video tape them.

The space was great with lots of room between each camper. It was quiet except for the very noisy highway interstate 65. It was easy to hook up and take down. The farm was a great view from the camper. Love the pull through site. We will come again

It was a really cool spot. Really close to mammoth caves. There were turkeys, ponies and a donkey ! There was also a great fishing pond. Over all a very beautiful site.

Visiting my nephew for a birthday party there. Nice camping sites. Pool well took care of and a fishing pond. I definitely recommend.
