Beautiful setting and scenery. Great fishing pond. Staff was friendly. Small pool. Terrible signage directing you to the office to register. Terrible wifi. Our "premium" site was all gravel, no shade, and adjacent to a septic lift station which was very odorous at times. Oh, and the freeway noise was really bad (only about 100 yards between us and the interstate highway.

The camp ground is very nice and well maintained. The reason it only gets two stars is because the electric box at my sight did not work properly. And the sewer drain was built up so high the rv would not drain properly. Being an rv campground I would hope these things would be fixed. I have stayed here in previous years and had no issues. This year was disappointing with the issues at the sight.

Bathrooms were nice. Otherwise the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed at. We reserved a space that we thought based upon the pictures was going to be concrete and full hookup (including sewer and cable). We had a terrible gravel space, no sewer and no cable. Plus we had the wonderful I-65 noise. Need to make major improvements. And with no sewer the dump station was inconvenient.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The amenities were great, the bathrooms were phenomenal and the staff was SO friendly!

We rated Horse Cave KOA because the campground was well taken care up and staff was courteous, The issue we had was that we could not get our class A coach to level. The RV could not complete the self leveling function. We spent our two days with slides in. It was a last minute booking so available level sites were taken. A shorter RV probably would have been fine. We still enjoyed our stay.

Liked the park, but need to add gravel along curb to Site 39. Drop off makes hooking and unhooking difficult. Damaged tongue jack when it caught on curb. Need more than two dryers (and one was out of service).

Beautiful campground. We had a large pull thru site with 50 amp service and sewer. More than adequate for our big 42 foot fifth wheel. They even have a small farm and kids loved petting the horses. Lots to do in area. Great for an extended stay

Everything was cleaned and staff were friendly but I would not recommend the sites closest to the highway to anyone. It’s way too loud down at those sites

The sites were large enough and provides lots of room. We were on the gravel section close enough to the rest of the campground but far enough away for seclusion.

I used the pool and was happy with that. We were not there long enough to use any other facilities. Our spot #83 was precarious for a large fifth wheel. We should have asked for a different site.

Wonderful experience staying here, clean well organized campground. Great setting close to Hidden River Cave in downtown Horse Cave a must see cave adventure.

Overall very good. The restrooms / showers were excellent and very clean. Our camp facility was good but when we arrived there was no picnic table at the site. The staff were helpful and brought a table, but this took time and we went without for half of our main day there. We had paid extra to reserve a specific site and someone should have checked to make sure the site had the proper equipment.

The office staff have been wonderful working with us to have a place to stay. Our bus was disabled the morning we were supposed to check out. Eating on mobile service from Cummins.

The stay was very good. We missed our first day because of mechanical issues but they held our site for us. Was disappointed we did not have a site with sewer,but we made do. Our family all met there and good time was had by all.

Very difficult to get level on pull thru site 87. No trees whatsoever. Just gravel on a slope. Very close to interstate so road noise was really bad. Laundry is nice.

Very nice KOA near Mammoth Cave and Hidden River Cave in Kentucky. Didn't see the insides but they had some very cool looking tree houses, Conestoga wagons and teepee. Shower facilities were super nice: 10 basically full baths in the building attached to the office. A nice enclosed dog park with agility equipment. Very nice lady at the front desk. The only detractor was the noise from I65.

The location was perfect for all of the activities available in the area. The grounds were well maintained and the overall amenities were great. Individual bathrooms were a huge plus. But, There are also some downsides. DO NOT EXPECT YOUR SITE TO BE LEVEL! This KOA is built on the side of a hill so leveling can be a real challenge, especially in a motorhome. CLEAN THE SHOWER FLOORS!!

We can’t really rate the campground because we didn’t make it. Without reminders (at least one maybe the day before arrival), it was easy for us cross-country travelers to lose track of our orig confirmation. We totally forgot we had res at KOA and so instead pulled in somewhere else. We were reminded only when we got a receipt and survey the morn AFTER our sched stay. So we paid for nothing

The campground met our needs but won’t be back. It’s awkward. Most campsites were pull offs. There ABSOLUTELY needs to be speed bumps put in place on the main road as this is a busy area with kids at play. The dump station is nonfunctional- wrong side. An alternative option should be aval. for for their PAYING guests. An hour lost- had to stop at Love’s and pay for the dump service.

We had site 27, it had rained that Fri night we had very little gravel on our lot we had a big muddy mess. The mud was up to the sides of our shoes and our rug and camper was a mess. I told the girl at the counter and asked her if we could get a little Rock to make a path. She said yes but no one ever came to help. Still loved your place, baths were the best we have ever seen.

Our spot was parallel with the road so we had many 6’ at the most between the side of our mh and the road, so there was no relaxing outside. The site was very uneven, dirt and so skinny that the table was behind us, we had no fire pit. The people across from us used our spot to back in almost hitting our car. It would be okay for a 1 night stay, but I wouldn’t stay any longer.

Our spot was not very level and the electric, water and sewer hook-ups were so far apart we had to pick which one we wanted to use. So we dumped our tanks and filled our fresh water tank and then we parked near the electric station. It worked but was annoying.

The only thing better would’ve been cable TV. I’m sure this is not common, but the person who checked us in, a young lady with light hair was not especially upbeat. I guess a bit disinterested. She was not rude, but not helpful. The dark-haired young lady, was more welcoming and very friendly. The park was very nice, and we were very satisfied with our stay..

Everyone was very helpful. Biggest issue we had was the severe slope our trailer was put on for the pull through. That and the road noise can get to be a bit much from the interstate.

So much fun! We stayed in a treehouse that had all the modern comforts! Great location right off the interstate and located close to great restaurants and attractions.

Lovely campground. Deceiving photos. Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $60/night Stayed 8 nights Site #87 Stayed here end of-Aug 2023. Pull-through 50 amp. FHU. ***Photos—Sites 84-93: The photos on their site are not accurate. There is only rocky gravel. No grass on the sites at all. See my photos.*** THE GOOD: -Sites: Very spacious sites. The sites in pull throughs near the barn are not level. Very high in front and need to adjust a good amount left to right. -Gas/restaurants/groceries: It is within 10 min of anything you might need. -Location: several caves to explore within 5 min. Mammoth Cave NP 20 min away. -Showers/Bathrooms: Great bathrooms / showers! Private with locking door. Full bathroom like you would have at home with nicely tiled walls. -Nice setting: The barn, fishing pond, and farm behind the campground make this campground really comfy. -Near interstate: Yes. Campground WiFi: -Really good and reliable (for campground wifi) during our stay. Cell/hotspot using booster: -AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G) -Verizon (2 of 4 bars—5G) Note: Cell service is unstable and drops often. Still works. Just helpful to know ahead of time.

AWESOME restroom and showers! Sonia was very friendly! Campground was easy to access, had a great view. Day trips to caves and surrounding areas not more than an hour. Would definitely stay there again! Looks like they are expanding. Glad to see it.
