On June 18th take a ride on the Stourbridge Line for a day of fun, food, and great tunes! The relaxing train ride with travel along the Lackawana River to the trackside grove. At trackside grove, there will be a delicious chicken barbeque lunch and bluegrass concert awaiting your arrival. Sound like fun? You can book your train ticket here and then stay with us! If you can't catch the June 18th train, they have the same event on August 18th to enjoy.
Wear your dancing shoes and join the Wayne County Creative Arts Council for their annual summer concert series in Honesdale. You'll have the opportunity to hear great tunes from unique local musicians every Monday and Thursday down at Honesdale Central Park. The season kicks off on June 12 and continues every week until July 31. Visit on July 1 for a special celebration filled with good food, excellent acts and spectacular fireworks. These summer concerts in the Poconos have been held for over 41 years, drawing some of the biggest and best names to their stage at the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in White Mills. This natural amphitheater offers the perfect setting with its magnificent pine trees and cool breeze. Kick back in your lawn chair, grab a bite from their barbecue caterers and enjoy a night full of music you'll never forget. Shows are every Saturday night between July 1 and Aug. 12, with a few on select Wednesday nights.
