This is one of the very best KOAs. Staff are helpful and friendly and the shower/toilet block is amongst the best we’ve seen at a campground anywhere. The KOA is away from Homer Spit which is crowded out for much of the season. This is on our top 10 campgrounds list.

Everything was very good, but the constant noise pollution from a nearby quarry or similar and the associated noise pollution from the trucks ruins the whole rating. Otherwise I would give it a 10 and a 5!

My wife and I had a good time at this KOA. The camp sites are large enough, are kept clean and the lawn mowed and trimmed and they continue to upgrade the facilities. The new bathroom facility and shower facility are large, clean, and top notch. We've traveled across the US with our trailer and the shower and bathrooms are the best so far. The views are breathing and the people are friendly.

My family, my husband, his brother and sister, father and mother were going camping Memorial Day Weekend and we had originally been set to do so on the SPit, but we ended up having to go to Baycrest KOA. They were more than accommodating and helpful when scheduling, and when I played phone tag with them repeatedly they were very patient and kind. Stay was clean, cheery and fun! Would recommend!

Wonderful campground ! Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful views. Super clean and warm showers and laundry room. We stayed twice during our visit to Alaska. Would definitely recommend. Plenty of room on sites. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful spot. Spacious, clean, helpful and friendly staff. Relaxing 4 day weekend. Easy to enter/exit. We chose a full hook up: quick easy to dump and clean out our tanks, no rushing to dump at a dump station. Enjoyed our own picnic table, fire pit. Kids play ground, dog park, volleyball net. Definitely recommend and choose KOA again. Ty.

First time camping in Homer, and it definitely won’t be my last!! I was speechless when I came to the bluff and saw the view; literally perfect. The campground was quiet, clean, organized, and beautiful. They offered some accommodations to fill my water tank since the spigots were still winterized. Extended my stay with ease. And just overall friendly and hospitable.

Campground is clean & beautiful; people are nice & accommodating. RV spaces need attention - need to be leveled better. We stay there every year & always have a challenge getting our coach level because of the dips & contours of the ground. Tree branches overhang one driveway & scrape our coach. Sewer hook-ups should be cut closer to the ground; the interior threads don't adapt to RV hoses.

The bath house is new and very nice. Appreciated the in-floor heat. The Taste of Homer food truck event was a nice addition this weekend.

We didn't like the first site given and asked if we could change. Were then put in a much nicer site but had to move over one spot for our second night. Not a problem as we have a small motorhome and had to disconnect to go out anyway. RV park has good showers and nice laundry room and was much quieter and less windy than it would have been out on the Spit!

Power went on and off the whole time (not in the whole area, just our site) and water pressure kept going off and on as well. Camp host and site manager were not helpful.

This was supposed to be the highlight campground of our trip to Alaska, but it turned out to be the lowlight. I booked on koa.com in December and it showed a beautiful view of the bay. We were so excited to have a great camping experience. I booked far in advance to make sure we got the view. We checked in excitedly expecting the site with a view. Excellent view of the water. Clean park. Room for my 5th wheel & truck in my space. Great host = Wayne. Far enough away from town to be out of the hustle but close enough to town for convenience. Bald eagles.

Nice scenic views. Mostly back-in spaces that are somewhat difficult in which to maneuver with bigger rigs. Somewhat pricey.

We were greeted with incredible views the minute we pulled into the campground! We originally had wanted to book a site at Heritage campground on the spit, but they were full so my boyfriend booked here. I am SO glad he did! We had such a wonderful experience here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities were always clean (they have a big laundry room, 4 separate shower rooms, additional restrooms, and a dish washing station). The site we had (#12) was a back-in patio site and was overlooking the bluffs and had incredible views. Our trailer is 34ft and we had plenty of room at the site, including space to park the truck next to our trailer. The site had a clean grill provided, BBQ tools, propane tank, a firepit, and a table with 4 very comfortable chairs. We had full hookups at this site too. We stayed for 4 nights but could have easily stayed much longer. I had to work the last day we were there and the wifi was strong and reliable. I'm a light sleeper...so was very grateful this campground was very quiet. If you want to party and get loud...this isn't the campground for you. But if you're looking for a clean, quiet, beautiful camping experience...this is the one! We will 100% be back!

Great place to camp. We stayed for a week. Still early campground wasn't open for the year yet but they let us stay at a discount. Great owners.
