Park Descriptions

The Entrance to the Park is at Milepost 169 on the bay side, located directly behind the Service Station.  You will pull straight in to the Registration Office and Gift Shop.
You will head to the left past the back-in  sites 1- 8, next are the patio sites 9-13 on the bluff side of the park.  Dry sites 74-78 are directly across from the patio sites.  Next to the dry sites is our new laundry/bathhouse with a gathering deck.
Sites 14-17 are on the bay side of the park.  Directly across from them are sites 19-24 which are back-ins with a small rise to the upper park directly above. Tent sites are secluded in the trees above sites 19-22. The bathroom and wash station are within a few feet.
Sites 28-31 and Yurt are in the lowest level, next to the Bunkhouse and bathroom/showers. Sites 34-46 all have views. Sites 47 and 48 are next to the pavilion and large fire pit, with an area for groups to congregate together.
Sites 49-53 are long term back-in sites.  Across the road are sites 54-58 which have a grassy meeting place above with a view.  Each site includes a table and fire experience.
The pull-thru sites are 59-66 and overlook the field, the bay and Illiamna volcano. On the road side are the electric only sites, 67-73.  Trees along the fence separate the park from the Highway.
Additional parking for boats and trailers is behind the bathhouse and is by reservation only.  Sorry, boats are not permitted at the sites.
