We have nothing but good things to say about the Homer KOA. The facilities, people and the camp sights. Well established and taken care of. Wife and I will definitely be going back. We have a favorite campsite (secret) which everyone knows. Lol. A special thanks to Wayne the camp host. He is very engaging and a lot of fun. Everyone there is great. Thanks for the good times. We also saw whales.

I can’t say enough about the Beautiful view! We stayed two nights in June. Besides the beauty it’s super clean and such friendly people. This will definitely be our favorite when in Homer.

Beautiful view! Lois, in the front office, was very pleasant and helpful. Wayne, the camp host, would "call" the eagles down out of the trees for photos. Nice, clean individual shower rooms.

Hostess was very welcoming and although it was early in the season and water wasn't yet available, the reduced rate reflected the lack of that service. Grounds were neat and well-kept.

We had an unfortunate beginning to our stay. As we checked into the campground our truck died... in front of tge office. The staff and host were so amazing at helping us get to our camp site. Pushed, towed and gave us the moral support we needed at the moment. From the first day until we checked out they checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and that we had help getting home.

Office manager is very kind and accomodating. Incredible views. Abundant play equipment for the kids, including a life-sized replica fishing boat that my granddaughter really enjoyed. Campground is right behind the Homer Tesoro, so quite convenient for coffee, snacks & gas. Recommend!

Appreciated the efficient reservation/registration process by phone. It was disappointing to be assigned a space in the front row (electricity only) close to highway, with noise that kept us from sleeping well, as well as no view of Kachemak Bay.

People were so nice. There wasn't a game room or gathering place. If this was lower 48 I would give them 3 at best. Grounds were clean but not manicured like you expect at KOA. Bath/showers ok but that's it. They were clean. This campground is better than others in the area

Great location. Made reservations in advance and had a spot right on the bluff with gorgeous view of the bay and Kenai mountains.

There’s an old guy here very grumpy and trying to enforce rules not listed anywhere and not friendly at all. I asked about dog walking and when the size of our dogs was mentioned I was told dogs aren’t to be left at the park.

Beautiful location, super clean and well maintained sites and facilities. Unexpected extras like an indoor dish washing station and a fenced dog yard for some safe and secure off leash time. Best grounds we have stayed in so far.

We were greeted with incredible views the minute we pulled into the campground! We originally had wanted to book a site at Heritage campground on the spit, but they were full so my boyfriend booked here. I am SO glad he did! We had such a wonderful experience here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities were always clean (they have a big laundry room, 4 separate shower rooms, additional restrooms, and a dish washing station). The site we had (#12) was a back-in patio site and was overlooking the bluffs and had incredible views. Our trailer is 34ft and we had plenty of room at the site, including space to park the truck next to our trailer. The site had a clean grill provided, BBQ tools, propane tank, a firepit, and a table with 4 very comfortable chairs. We had full hookups at this site too. We stayed for 4 nights but could have easily stayed much longer. I had to work the last day we were there and the wifi was strong and reliable. I'm a light sleeper...so was very grateful this campground was very quiet. If you want to party and get loud...this isn't the campground for you. But if you're looking for a clean, quiet, beautiful camping experience...this is the one! We will 100% be back!

Great place to camp. We stayed for a week. Still early campground wasn't open for the year yet but they let us stay at a discount. Great owners.
