Very clean facility. Very family friendly. Only draw back is it's a fairly long distance from the Homer Spit. Then one good thing....It's a fairly long distance from the Homer Spit! Staff - all of them - very friendly and helpful. They make you feel completely at ease. Will definitely be going back again.

The location was beautiful..........although the refrigerator in our room was frozen and was cooling. I HAD TO DEFROST IT not the employees.........ME which took over an hour to break out the ice. This should have been done once the previous clients left, which I was told they were there for 1 week. That should've told them to check the freezer area of the refrigerator.

Very cozy cabin. Though I would recommend the cleaners turn the heater on when they leave. It took a long time to get warm, but once it did, it stayed warm for the whole night.

Great to find space without reservation. Wish it had been a little less expensive for no HU but a safe off the road space and friendly staff.

Very nice facility. Clean and everything worked as it was supposed to. When we made reservations we asked for a specific site and we were VERY pleased to actually get. And that would be my only issue is not being able to reserve a specific site.

Great view overlooking Katchemak bay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Eagles still perch in big trees adjacent to property.

Very well maintained and clean campground. Would have been 5 star all around except the WiFi was frustrating and dismal at best. Needed it to do some work, but not usable. Otherwise best campground in AK to date.

This campground was clean and very well done. The people in the office for a very friendly and they camp host made his rounds regularly. We really appreciated this little piece of paradise.

overall it was good. The fire pits were ridiculous, though. A tire rim for a fire pit is inexcusable. The sites are a little too close together in the middle area.

WIFI was down our entire stay. I made multiple calls to the office but nothing was ever done. We booked this location b/c it had wifi & we had work/meetings. I was assured when we arrived the wifi would be fixed right away but it never was & no one even bothered to follow up with us. We had to hot spot everything but cell service was terrible. High price & they didn’t provide amenities promised.

It was a fantastic stay! We will be staying here again. We love to take road trips in the summers. Hopefully this KOA will be at least twice next year!

The best capground in Alaska, clean, friendly staff, the view, good showers and special thanx to the camp host he is 100% , and the two eagles nesting there. When you pay you get all.

I love staying at this location!! The view is amazing! The camp host is soooo nice!!! The late check in is great! The only complaint I have is the girl who checked us in could use some customer service advice. She did not say hi, welcome, or anything. After a 12hr drive from Fairbanks we were excited to finally be there and as I walked in,she only says "last name". No smile, or enthusiasm. ��

Other than not having a dump station for everyone to use it was very nice and peaceful. The park host is quite knowledgeable and friendly. When ever we are in Homer, we will be staying there. The park has wonderful views and a pet friendly area. We love to watch the park host feed the wild bald eagles. That is so exciting to watch. The bathrooms and showers are very clean.

The cabin was fantastic. The only complaint is that the TV didn't work and the shower was really difficult to figure out how to get hot water. Other than that it was fantastic!

I booked last minute, hoping for a tent space to lay my head as it was July 4th weekend and EVERYTHING was booked. Instead, I was able to score the last yurt they have available. It turned out to be the best surprise stay ever. The bed was so incredibly comfortable, the unit was clean, had a heater, and was just so cozy! The nearby bathrooms were so clean and nice, too! Can’t wait to go back!

The cabin was in very good shape and the bathroom was clean. The only item of note was that in a cabin with 8 beds there were only 2 chairs with the table. We used the bed and a cooler to make up the rest of the seating when we needed to be inside. However, there was a pick nick table outside.

Stayed in the Yurt and it was very clean and comfortable. The heater was a welcome furnishing. Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Campground and facilities were clean. I would recommend ear plugs for light sleepers. There is a highway maintenance facility across the road. There were times when the back up alarms beeping, engines idling and general noise was disruptive.

Not a place for tent camping. We pulled up to a rocky parking spot barely wider than an RV, so no room for a tent.They were nice by changing our spot to a communal Pavillion, the only place in the KOA that you could pitch a tent. Beautiful views, nicely maintained but more of a bare parking lot for RV campers. In an RV we would have had a better stay, but I wouldn't bring kids, a dog and a tent.

We stayed in a cabin and it was clean, cute, and more equipped than expected. Wish we stayed longer to make use of the fire pit and deck. Appreciated that there is a dog run on the property. Great views. Will be back!

Great campground. The view of Kachemak Bay was amazing! This park was close enough to the Spit to enjoy and far enough away to provide peace and quiet.

Very friendly and warm staff, clean restrooms, fire pits, picnic tables, dog park, gas station 50 feet away for all your needs. Definitely recommended!
