The campground was clean and staff was friendly. The pool was pretty chilly. The drive up to the campground is in need of grading, it's extremely bumpy for an RV. If you want to save money for the campground, switching the campsite lights to LED and have a sensor to illuminate only at night, you would recognize a large savings in electricity! Want more info?

Very clean. Bathrooms and showers are spotless! Pool was very nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Sites were gravel and it took awhile to get camper level. Also water hose at dump station was unusable for our tank flush on our rv. But all in all a very nice place to stay and we would definitely stay there again

Nice campground. My only complaint is it's such a long walk to the restroom for tent campers in the far end of the campground, especially those of us with small children.

The park was OK. The people were friendly. We drove in without a reservation. This place is at the top of a hill with a short road leading in. Make sure you're ready for the drive. Have fun,

Pros: Clean equipped bathrooms, clean pool area, everyone at the campground is friendly and helpful, wifi reaches distant sites, gem mining is a hit with the kids, great pizza and ice cream on site Cons: Mulch in tent sites makes a giant mess and an alternative material is needed (wood tent platforms?), sites at the bottom of the hill need to be graded level, high prices, can't pick site from map

Very nice and clean bathrooms/ pool. Staff in store super friendly and helpful. The site was a little narrow/ difficult to get into and could use some better landscaping. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay.

Very clean campground and quiet. We loved it. I think site #9 is the best site there and was happy we got that site. Can't wait to return to this KOA.

Clean bathrooms and showers, very quiet at night even with allowing dogs. The only thing negative: more activities were needed for a 4th of July weekend.

This was the first KOA we have stayed at, we tend to reserve with State Parks. The service at this KOA was spectactular, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The sites were clean, the bathrooms were always clean, the showers were very nice. We were very close to the hiking trails and kayaking. This experience secured our desire for future reservations with KOA. Thank you!

Very clean and nice campground. Our sites are on a hill (I guess that's why it's call Hocking Hills) and just very hard to get a level spot. Where we were at there were very few trees and it was very hot during the day. We had a problem with people constantly crossing through our campsite when our dogs were tied up outside. We asked several times for them not to do this. Nice pool!

Our site was nice. The campground has a problem with unsupervised small children. The dog park being right next to the playground was an issue. There needs to be a barrier so these unsupervised children don't come up to the fence and harrass the dogs. We were constantly being run up upon by these kids with no adults in sight. 5-6 year old little girls unsupervised is dangerous.

We were very happy.. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.The swimming pool was very clean..The bathrooms and shower room must have just been remodeled recently. Excellent condition ! They had a RC track that my grandson enjoyed using..The only downfall was all the gravel were you had to drive and park your Motor Home..

Our stay was wonderful as usual, Lorie and her husband as well as all the staff go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. The staff is non stop maintaining the facilities. Its a beautiful quiet campground with something for all. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Hocking Hills KOA is the best. It's a well maintained campground with large sites, activities for all, and a well stocked camp store. Recently we took our 10 year old granddaughter camping with us. Like us she has been coming to the Hocking Hills KOA for years. She liked the hiking but loved the Gem mining, swimming, evening campfires & s'mores, and of course rides on the golfcart with Dan. Everything was very good one thing that was disappointing is when I got to dump station that there was no place to hook up my hose to the gray water to flush my black water tank which on the new models of course now they all have that so it can’t be too hard to just put a valve there and a way to flush use it to flush out your black tank otherwise everything was very good OK thank you bye

It doesn't seem as if anyone there was friendly. When we checked in there was a young girl who didn't know anything about anything. We were charged $10 a night for a second tent for our kids as well. Our camp sight was not flat in the slightest and our table rocked constantly. The bathrooms were closed at prime time for use 8-10am it seemed like. We left a day early because it was just terrible.

We enjoyed staying here. The pool was nice and clean but we would have preferred if it was open later. The bathrooms and showers were clean and private. The camp site was clean and landscaping was kept nice but it would have been nice if there was more flat land on the camp sites. Staff were very friendly.

I understand most RV campers now have toilets in the camper. But those that don't I recommend requesting closer to the restrooms. It was a long walk up that hill.... Otherwise great place and very friendly staff and close to everything you want in the area and very clean.

Great friendly staff. The grounds were kept Clean and looking very nice. Our lot was a little uneven but with all the hills and valleys it wasn’t too bad. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome time. It was clean, easy, quiet (I think we were the noisiest ones and there were only two of us!). I would recommend this to anyone with a family or that wants a quiet place. I need a place more in the middle. I'm a light sleeper so I appreciated the quiet but I felt like we shouldn't even sit outside after 10pm for fear of disturbing others. Great place though! Thanks!

We loved everything about Hocking Hills KOA. However, at 11pm on Saturday night, my husband had to use the bathroom at the shower house it was so dark he parked out front of the restroom. A night KOA attendant asked him what he was doing and he told him he was trying to find the restroom. All the guy said was you can't park here, he didn't tell where to park or show him, it was so dark.

Fantastic grounds. Clean and well organized! Very well positioned between Logan and The Hocking Hill’s state park. We look forward to staying again in the future. We would highly recommend staying here.

This is my favorite Campground. I have stayed at multiple Koa locations and most Koa campground are good but this campground goes way above and beyond with their excellent customer service. I have to stay at least two times a season here, forgot something at my campsite and they held on to it and kept it safe until I came back in the spring for it! Just outstandingly friendly and nice people

We had an excellent time with our family! We had both tent and camper reservations and KOA made it work out perfectly! Our daughter loved the gemstone mining experience and it is a must do for all little ones. The pool was perfectly clean and warm not to mention the bathrooms. Service and all staff were super helpful and made our experience that much better! A1 Service and Fun!

The staff is friendly! Store offers many items including food that can be delivered to your site. Sites are nice and well taken care of. Bath houses, restrooms and pool area is very clean. Has a nice dog park.

We had planned to stay at the state park but due to the forecasted heat wave we quickly switched to the KOA with full hookups. This KOA was incredibly well organized, friendly and clean. I will definitely be staying here next time we visit Hocking Hills.

Great wifi, friendly service, nice sites. Quiet and friendly neighbors, dog friendly as well. Bath facilities clean and updated. They have a nice pool and an RC track! We would definitely stay again!

The campground is well cared for. The restrooms were very clean. Our site was superb. A level cement pad, with patio, furniture and a pristine Weber grill. We thought it was a great stay.

The tent area is not level. My tent was on a slope. There was no where to put the table that wasn't sloped. When leaving Tuesday morning at 745am after the storm, there was pa man on a cart by the pool. I tried to get his attention, he ignored me. I went up to the office got out of my car. The man on the cart drove by. I motioned for him and he turned his head and pretended he did not see me.

We will definitely come back! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, the electric campsite we had was great, WiFi at the site was nice (though we mostly didn't use it, it's good to have in an emergency), and the bathrooms were very clean and modern for a campsite. There was also a sink to wash dishes under the pavilion next to the camp site. If the website says no availability, try calling them. Definitely recommend this location!
