The camp ground is great. How ever the cabin we stayed in was not clean had mice droppings where your dishes are the roof leaks above table.The outdoors man cabin not worth the money The bed is terrible the couch pull out the sheets was dirty on it. I didn't have enough trash bags toilet paper and paper towels. It's a good thing I brought my own. This is the 2nd time I stayed here in was bad.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. Loved the campgrounds and its landscaping. Everyone has plenty of space. Pool was great. Loved the centralized location for area attractions. Definitely booking again!

Our cabin was perfect for our stay. It was vey nice accommodations, the pool was refreshing, the staff were amazing and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely go back!

We stayed at the main house during our visit - it was AMAZING! Very clean and had everything we needed. The pizza up at the shop was the best we've ever had and the people were so nice. We even ran into the owner/manager (?) when we had our pup out right before a storm and she was great! She asked how we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything at all. A fantastic experience!

Awesome area to do hiking and exploring. The cabin we stayed in needs some upkeep though. The bathroom fan and kitchen table lights didn’t work. The ac struggled during the day to keep it cool.

I love camping here, but the deer trail cabin was so so. The ac is just adequate but we had to keep the bunk bed area and bathroom area closed off to keep it cool enough. Note, temps were hot mid 90s. Temps of 80s might be ok for the ac. Everything else was great.

The campground was very nice. Our family reunion turned out great! The grandkids enjoyed the pool and gem mining. The pavilion was perfect for our meals & games. The bathrooms were among the best we've ever seen. Cabin was just right for the 4 of us. Only compaint is the family was a little too spread out at the camp sites. The hills at tent sites made campfires hard to sit around.

The cabin & campground were generally excellent, as always, with the exception that (as always) the expensive firewood was very high-moisture & so our fire was difficult to maintain. (We kept our firewood under cover of the porch, so the moisture wasn’t due to the rain during our stay. It arrived wet & we could see the moisture bubbling out the ends. This is typical for this KOA.)

Everything was great from check-in to check-out. The cabin was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked. Only complaint: the queen bed was very squeaky, and the twin beds were quite small — better suited for kids under 10. Overall, a lovely stay!

Pros: friendly check in, food/snack options good, free ice/wood at check in nice surprise, clean cabin, great location to Hocking Hills. Cons: no electric outlets in bunk room, poor layout design not having bunk room separate from bathroom door opening, wild animal making noise under cabin, ants on counter, no heat cabinet was 52F one morning, hot water in shower hit or miss.

Stayed in a "deluxe" cabin for 2 nights. First morning woke up to have no water in cabin. Called after hours number 3 times each time went straight to voicemail. Was fi ally contacted back 6 hours later. Do not understand the point of an after hours emergency call if you are not going to respond until 6 hours later. In addition cabin was overran with ants. ALSO cabin had ant infestation.

I enjoyed my stay. The campground is beautiful, and the staff is great! I want to give Madison a shout-out for being an outstanding staff member. She was helpful and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Everyone is so kind . I’m older so it would have been nice to have a few paths around camp ground paved to walk or ride my bike. I was surprised my cabin did not have a freezer I was hoping to keep I packs frozen when I went hiking on trails in state park.and in bathroom the toilet paper holder was on left side and hard to reach right side of would have been easier . Very clean .

The improvements: The road up to the camp ground is a disaster. Humps and dips are atrocious. Our gas grill ignitor would not light the grill, we had to use a lighter to get the grill lit. There is a board on our deck that is rotted and my foot crushed almost all the way through. Many good things other than the aforementioned improvements. Cabin was very clean, cozy, wifi is great. Will return

We were not aware of the burn ban when we arrived. To leave at that point we would have lost $330. Decided to stay. Brought food to grill, but grill would not light. We were asked to go to public kitchen and use grill there and I refused. So they drug another grill to us which also would not work. Tried to take a shower at the cabin, and ran out of hot water before I even got wet. Bad experience.

Wonderful staff and campground had great sites. Very impressed with the concrete pads and pull through sites as well as a grill at many sites!

The cabin was nice but the bed was horrible for my back. There wasn't much to do being it rained every day. We couldn't have a fire and we were not aware of this till we checked in so we could not do any of the car. Fire meals we had planned.

Second stay there ! Loved my cabin, clean, fresh towels, gorgeous setting. So close to Hocking Hills State Park. Staff was beyond great. Very courteous and friendly. Just a beautifully kept campground. I’ll definitely return next year .

Rating is based on lack of response by management. Paid hundreds for one night in cabin, was never informed of the fire ban, which includes a grill ban and we had packed skewers and hot dogs. While I understand the ban is by the state, KOA DOES have the ability to notify customers, I would have had an option to cancel or at least plan. “No refunds, I will have someone call you” - still wait

Everything was great about the 3 bedroom house we stayed in. The only complaint was the bees....lots of them. They were swarming and we got bit multiple times. We couldn't sit on the deck until the sun went down and the bees went to sleep. We talked to others staying in campers and lodges and they said they had no bees at all. We think there were nest of them under the deck.

Very nice place to stay.....staff was friendly & very helpful......you should consider larger sales of firewood for those who stay longer than 1 or 2 nights (since I can't bring my own)...$7 small bundles dont go very far......had an issue with no hot water in womens showers for the last day & a 1/2.....but....overall was a great stay & will be back on our next trip to HH....

First time staying at a KOA and we had a fantastic time. The Outdoorsman Deluxe Cabin was clean and spacious and well stocked with kitchen amenities. Appreciated all the comforts of home and not a single bug or ant anywhere. Only thing I'd say for constructive criticism is that the queen bed needs to be replaced and new pillows brought in. Grounds and pool were very nice. Thank you!

Very nice campground. Some dust behind the bed headboard on the wall. Overall cabin we stayed in was clean and great. The ac scent filter was a bit over powering - very strong :(. Would come back again :)

The Hocking Hills KOA checked all the boxes. Clean, well maintained site and park. Kids loved the on site activities including the heated pool, huge inflatable jump pad, Saturday foam party and gem mining (additional cost). The store is stocked with most anything you may need while staying. We will definitely visit again.
