We much enjoyed our FIRST KOA stay in our 1st year of camping. Location and staff were excellent. The grandkids enjoyed the playground, mini donuts, and gem mine! Great location for all that Hocking Hills has to offer.

A lovely camp in the hills. We loved the decorations. Jim was terrific and helpful, getting us parked, delivering firewood and breakfast sandwiches from the excellent camp kitchen. We also had their wonderful pizza. The staff here is just " down Home". Could not be any better.

It is a great campground. Only 2 small problems that were minor. Having an electric only site , it was hard to find places to get water. Also, it was advertised that their ice cream shop had milkshakes.We pass several milkshake shops cause we wanted to support k o a's and sadly they did not have milkshakes

Had a great time as always at Hocking Hills KOA. Great sites, awesome staff, especially Paula, Dan and Jimmy. As always camping with friends is the best. We're booked for next year already. Thanks to all for another round of great memories!

Wonderful location and campground. One recommendation, the entrance driveway up the hill is extremely bumpy. No other recommendation as the people, sites and location is GREAT.

This campground was nestled in the hills and was an EXCELLENT get away. Our campsite was PERFECT!!! We will definitely be returning for another stay. Our favorite KOA by far. Thank you Hocking Hills!!

Ike and Mike ( maintenance man) were excellent. Beautiful setting but sites very uneven and slippery after heavy rain unless you get an expensive spot with patio. Desk help were not as helpful when we pulled in because manager was off and our cable connection was not working. Manager compensated us 50% for first night. Note to those hauling a trailer. Very steep hill to access KOA

Very very friendly. It was my honeymoon so they let me check in a few hours early. Beautiful property! Love the general store with a hot food and pizza Kiosk. The only challenge was going to the restroom. Tge toilet is in the same room as the shower. Not an issue in the middle of the day, but you have to wait for people to take showers in the morning to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, great stay!

Beautiful campground, super clean facilities, & amazingly friendly staff! Close to all the best of the Hocking Hills region! We booked late - still got a full hookup but it was a tricky site. Next time we will book way in advance to get one of their premium sites for sure!

Location & wifi were good. Site was awful. Site was small with no privacy, the entire site was unlevel, our tent pad was unlevel and only a foot from the road, not dark due to being so close to the building with lights on all night. Also, they did trick or treating and had activities which was nice for kids but they shut down the campground(no driving to or from sites) without notice.

The grounds are very nicely kept and the bathrooms are very clean. There were lots of activities for kids and the store was well stocked. They also have delicious pizza !

Loved our stay, friendly staff, clean Bathroom wonderful sites, free bundle of firewood. Everything fine. Maybe you could put signs up for the birding trail loop, couldn't find it, ended up in a group tent site with no polite way to cross, so had to go back.

I was told my tent site was close to the restroom and that was definitely not the case. I wouldn't call almost 100 yards away close. It put a damper on my trip.

On line res. Full service site, without sewer hookup. Disappointing to find this out after an 8 hour drive. Fortunately they had a service available at a nominal cost. All else up to koa standard.

We have been coming to HHKOA at least twice a year since 2020. The KOA is always well kept. The employees are very friendly and always very helpful. My sweetie likes the fudge. Will be back in 2026.

Super nice staff. Thanks for all of the great service. Campground is well maintained. Sites are very big. Lots of room to spread out. Very nice showers and restrooms. Camp store has everything for camping, groceries, toys, hand dipped ice cream, and much more. Pizza, wings, firewood, all delivered to site.

We have been coming to this KOA for a few years now and enjoy it each time. However, this most recent trip we decided to end it a little early. The water smelled like metal; in the shower house and the water running to our camper. We have filters on from point of entry and a filter system in the point of exit. We will return but hoping the water issue will be fixed.

We have stayed at this location before and we always have a great time. We had a great time this time except for one thing. This trip the water was very hard and we had issues with rust stains in our newer camper. I even went out bought a new filter and it didn’t help. I was able to confirm it was the pipes as water had been leaking down the new filter and wheni removed it, it was covered in rus

We had soo much fun staying at the hocking hills KOA! Our kids loved doing trick or treat through the campground. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff was friendly and escorts everyone to their campsite at check in.

Easy check in/check out process. Bathhouse and shower amenities were top notch!! Enjoyed a quiet weekend. Would definitely come back

Hocking hills koa is a very pretty campground. Their staff is very polite and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is that the sites could be reworked to make them easier to level the travel trailer.

Place is nice but check in hours are unclear. They make it seem like we couldn't check in after 9pm, but we arrived and had no problem coming in. Ground was a little uneven at our campsite, but we still slept comfortably. Compound is conveniently place near many great sites and area hikes
