Sites uneven hard to set up

We appreciate your feedback. While some guests struggle more than others with leveling, we know that it can be challenging to navigate the hilly terrain of Hocking Hills. We are constantly working on the site drives to help our guests get as level as possible.

My site wasn't level. Had to prop my chair up in order to sit by the fire. Access road was tough to get up, but others looked the same

The grounds, the facility are immaculate. The staff is great. Like most KOAs the sites are too close. The BIG problem with location is that nearly EVERY gravel site is unlevel both side to side and front to rear. Observations we heard from everyone we some to. Real issue!

We are sorry that you feel your experience was less than ideal. Our sites (especially the sites that hold bigger rigs like yours) get routine care to try to keep them as level as possible, as that is ongoing with our terrain. We agree that the staff and the grounds are truly great!

Paula was so welcoming with us coming to check in late afternoon into the evening. She even called to see what time we'd arrive to make sure everything was set up. She was very thorough with all amenities that this KOA offered. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Everything went very smooth. very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we both said how good the pizza and ice cream was. The staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

The facility is incredible and all of the staff were so kind. We did cut our trip short because our location was in direct sunlight on the hottest weekend of the year. We were unable to hang out on the patio because it was just too hot for our 3 year old. There were a lot of other sites with some tree cover - that would’ve made a 10-15 degree difference. Overall the park is great and very clean

We stayed 9 days to be close to new grandchild coming into the world. Enjoyed our stay, facilities were nice, store well appointed and nice little trail in the woods.

The only negative was shorter kitchen times due to late summer. I would have thought that coming into Labor Day weekend would have had full hours still.

Our kitchen was open for full hours during the holiday weekend- it was open until 8pm Wednesday - Sunday. We have a large amount of student staff so during our slower season the kitchen is closed Mon-Tues but open until 8pm all other nights.

We really enjoyed our stay. All KOA employee we met was extremely welcoming & helpful. Everything was very clean & exceptionally well maintained. Although we had a great time the tent site we received was on a pretty steep hill with many roots sticking out of the ground. My children and myself fell many times as well as had issues sleeping do to the incline. That is my only “issue” with our st

We found the place exceptional. Between the pool, gem mining, RC racetrack (which was awesome) there was more than enough to do over the long weekend. And the staff was great!!! We will be back!!!

It was amazing. Staff were super friendly. They even delivered wood to our camper. The bathrooms and showers were clean and very nice. The gift shop had a great selection, even batteries for when our remote died. The fudge and ice cream was the best!! The pool was clean and refreshing. They even have a recycling dumpster! Our only suggestion would be to add more sites with sewer/grey water.

Very accommodating, plenty of activities. The driveway up the hill is not a problem, just have to go slow. The sites could be leveled out a bit to help keep your unit level. I would recommend this koa.

Great Camp layout in rolling hills, lots of room between sites. Thought individual lights for each site a great idea. Camp facilities great and very clean. Staff very helpful. Only issue was a little to much rust in water.

Beautiful campground. Clean facilities, beautiful pool and plenty of offers daily. We totally enjoyed our stay. The owners of this KOA really take pride in their business and treated us with friendliness and respect.

The campground is very clean, the staff is very helpful and always easy to find. The restrooms are the best I have seen at any campground we have stayed at the last several years. The location of the campground is great for exploring all that Hocking Hills has to offer. The camp store has all the necessary items that you may need for camping.

We were VERY satisfied with our visit, the reception staff was phenomenal, the facilities were amazing, and our campsite was secluded and perfect for my son and I. The part that ruined our stay was the rude KOA worker who kept driving by to ensure we would not stay past checkout time. At 1152 he parked at our site and just rudely glared and intimidated us. We left our site at 1156 hrs.

Thanks for sharing. We're sorry to hear that your departure left such a negative impression & impacted your overall experience so much after a great stay. Staff have a narrow window to get sites prepared for the next arrival but we will discuss better ways to stage for sites that need cleaned.

It is so clean and well taken of. The cabin was nice. The only complaint I have is the cabin didn't have a nice smell. It is cabin #5. It smelled like feet. It may have been from the AC unit, not sure. Other than that, I loved it and will definitely be back.

Very clean, very nice setting, employees were very professional, helpful and courteous. The bathrooms were clean, and the best showers I have experienced at a campground.

This is such a beautiful, quiet campground! The staff is friendly and there is so much to do! The spaces are clean and roomy; you feel like you have privacy!

Great Location, close to State Parks and Hiking. The Sites are nicely laid out, the facilities are well kept and the staff was excellent. They had activities while we were there for families if you wanted to participate. The heated pool was a plus as well.

This is an immaculately maintained campground, spotlessly clean inside and out. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and competent. The handyman seemed to be everywhere all the time. I would love to come back here and I highly recommend this KOA. Oh, and the fudge!!! Yum!!!

Needed lots of leveling blocks. Excellent location for visiting all the Hocking Hills attractions. Campsites were nicely spaced. Nice dog park. Latrines were always clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent wi fi

I cannot recommend this campground highly enough. The staff was extremely helpful, the bathrooms were always spotless, the campsites very well maintained. Over all this facility is a 5 star.

We had a great experience at this KOA! Was very easy check in and out also very friendly. Staff went above and beyond for us as we ended up having issues with our truck on the day we were suppose to leave and staff came to our rescue to help get it towed and fixed in the same day also let us stay until it was all taken care of with no extra charge! We will definitely be back with this campsite and its wonderful views and staff!!! Thank you all so much we appreciate all the kindness and help
