It rained the whole time we were there so that part was bad , but the resort was clean and well maintained . Employees were very accommodating.Maybe next time the weather will be better.

Great place to stay, we had visited a couple of years ago before the KOA took over and they have really upgraded the facilities. Bath houses were really nice and clean, the camp staff would deliver your firewood. Just an overall great trip. The kids loved the bouncing bubble, volley ball net and riding bikes around the lake.

This campground was very clean. There are tons of activities for families to do and are handicap accessible. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. This was my first time backing into a campsite and the man who took us to our site stayed to help me back into our spot. Our site was on the creek which was better than expected. Their pictures don't do it justice. Highly Recommend.

The campground (landscape, bathhouse, etc) is very nice, well maintained. The staff are friendly. Potential campers, please consider not playing music (especially rock) outside when others are outside near you. Even when volume is average at your site it’s loud and takes away from the really nice vibe of this campground.

This was my second stay at the Hiawassee KOA. I'm a solo traveler and yet, I feel like I'm "part of the family" there. Everyone is very friendly, including the staff and the other campers. I will make this KOA a regular part of my travels.

Site 51 was great! It was so peaceful to fall asleep with the sound of the waterfall in the background! The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Beautiful campground! Loved the lake with all the frogs :)

Really liked the campground. Wasn't so happy about a public road running through the middle. Also wasn't so great that the sites were so close together. Looking out your window at another camper isn't real great. Bathrooms were outstanding. Very nice staff beautiful scenery love it. Had fun checking out the local towns and the road ways was so beautiful, went to Helen had lots of fun tried german food very good .

Loved the campground. Very clean , good size lots. The staff super friendly and helpful. The sower houses are very clean. Definitely will be back. Thanks for a great stay !

Exceeded our expectations! Beth is the finest hostess at any of the KOA’s we’ve stay at. The park was quiet and a very pleasant thought out park. The natural beauty there simply has to be seen to be appreciated!

Wonderful campground. Very peaceful. Only complaint was that with many creek sites available on 3/16 night, someone was put at the site right next to us just for one night. (They asked the same question about placement) Would have liked to keep us spread out especially since we were both leaving on the am of the 17th. But overall a good stay.

This place is ideal for an RV family to get away from the city for a weekend or a long haul. Surrounded by mountains in all sides, this place has a picturesque views. Lots of fun things to do for the entire family. The pond is well stocked. Highly recommended! Btw, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our deluxe patio site was well appointed with table and chairs , glider , and firepit. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The ponds and grounds were well kept and enjoyable to walk around . We enjoyed our stay !

Very well kept KOA. Gives you the rustic camping vibe with the gorgeous mountain views and the great amenities package. We had a site across from playground and jumpy pillow which was perfect for the kids. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and overall great!

The campground was FANTASTIC!! The staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. The campground was very organized and clean. My campsite was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of Brasstown Bald Mountain. Have already made reservations to return in the fall. I would highly recommend the Hiawasse KOA to anyone looking for a stay in the North Georgia Mountains.

I needed to call the afternoon of my first day of stay due to my projected late arrival. Was instructed how to check in the next morning and where to find my information packet. Went in the next morning and began a friendship that lasted the entire 7 days. We needed ice and propane gas several times. Temps went down to 22. Needed tech help. All great. Thanks to Beth, Keyshawn, Rhonda, Jim, Todd.

This ranks at the very top of my KOA stays, brand-new clean, spacious, beautiful park with some of the country's most friendly staff. Many great restaurants nearby and lots of state park hiking trails.

Very , VERY Nice campground. Also excellent cabins. We are rv people but this trip we stayed in a cabin. FA TASTIC! Very friendly staff and VERY CLEAN cabin.

One of the best Koas we have been to (& we have been to at least 20 across the country). The staff were so incredibly nice. The location was surrounded by beautiful views and the huge campground had so many things to do for kids! We had a perfect rv spot that backed up to a bubbling brook that just made the trip! I loved sitting by the water just listening to it! (& there are quite a few spots near water which is not very common!) Highly recommend & will definitely be going back!
