Camped with 2 other family members, had a wonderful time. The weather was prefect. So much to do here. Just a relaxing time. Yes, we will be back.

We arrived after check-in hours at dark. We were greeted by the manager who escorted us by golf cart to our site. He is a stellar professional who went out of his way for us! We love the pull through site for easy set up. The scenery is tranquil with a lovely lake and surrounded by beautiful mountains. This campground is exceptional! Love it!

Normally ALWAYS have a good experience unless we have to deal with Beth Ann.A experience with her is normally ok UNLESS you have a issue and then she is very dismissive, We had nice weekend planned to watch football and relax at camp like we do every three weeks. There was an issue with the WiFi. It working.Beth Ann stated that no one else was having issues over there, to call the 888 number.

Nice, and spacious place that is WAY off the main road. Bath houses are a bit far apart, but the place is beautiful and the people are very nice.

Was probably the nicest KOA I have been to over the years. Friendly staff, very clean grounds and buildings. Also, the scenery is the best.

This KOA, (formerly Bald Mountain Campground) has gravel sites, FHUs, and provides basic services. It is located 20 minutes from the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. However, it takes 7-8 minutes to drive from the KOA out to Hwy 76 because of the winding, hilly road, and longer if pulling an RV or tow vehicle. It's a nice KOA with a view of the mountains, but not what I'd call an "RV resort".

We were passing thru so we just stayed one night, but it was a very good night. The sites are spacious and mostly level. The bathhouse was clean, the wifi was very good. Would stay again and reccomend

The Hiawasee KOA was a beautiful place to stay. It’s out of town so it’s quiet and peaceful. We stayed by the lake and only wish we could have stayed longer! The restrooms and showers were some of the nicest we’ve encountered. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Loved it!

We really enjoyed our short stay there and so did our dogs. The staff are friendly and helpful, the ground and facilities immaculate. Will definitely visit again.

The campground was clean and the personnel were very friendly. Would have loved to have the fire pit in our actual campsite instead of over by the water where everyone was walking by.

Excellant staff, nice layout… except the sites are too close together… the people next to our rv knocked something over into our rv and damaged it then left without even letting us know.

This is our 2nd time staying at this KOA. It was great! Everyone was friendly, everything from campsites and bathrooms to pond, playground etc was kept clean. We fished the pond and caught a couple little fish and released them back, the kids lived the jump pillow, train ride, and play ground. It is one of our favorite campgrounds.

We absolutely love the campground! We’ve been coming for many years. The only problem I have is that I inquired about leaving our camper there on one of the annual spots & was told no one can stay in it but us. I wanted it for us & my some & his family to be able to stay when they wanted to as well but was told they couldn’t because their names wouldn’t be on it. Not looking to use as an Air

Nice park with lots to do, however the office closes so early it wasn't possible to enjoy mini golf or some of the other items. The office should stay open longer especially on a holiday weekend.

This is a great campground! If we are back in the area we will stay here again. The only thing to mention is it would be in everyone's best interest if the speed limit coming from Fodder Creek was enforced. The 15 MPH is rarely kept & most drive at 35+. The danger lies in the children riding bikes & fishing at the stream. The hill + speed may create a blind spot that could cause potential harm.

Loved our back-in site next to the creek. Bathhouse was very clean. Wifi was excellent. We could stream the football game! Office staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a great time there. The campground is really nice and well kept up. The shower houses were nice and clean which we really like. The only thing that needs improvement is there are no shelves in the showers to put your things when showering. People need to put there stuff somewhere .

We enjoyed our stay. There was a mixup in our site. I initially scheduled online but then called to be moved. I was told a creek site was available and that I was moved to the creek from a pull through. When we arrived we were booked in a pull through site. The person on the phone did not recommend I lock my site in. In the past that was not necessary. I will be locking in a site from now on.

Loved this campgd when it was Bald Mtn. Have tried this KOA several times and don't like it as much. We booked our reserv in Jan 24. At that time, we didn't see where we could request a site and would not pay extra for it if we did. We ended up in a small site while others were empty. I tried to call left a msg to see if we cld chg sites, and no one returned call. Prob will not come back. Staff ok

Great views, nice staff. The site we were assigned was a tight fit both lengthwise and width wise. Our neighbors electrical box was basically on our site. Would love the opportunity to pick our own site. We did love being next to the creek and listening to it. The bathhouse was clean.

This is a beautiful campground with a lot of amenities. The people that work here seem very nice and helpful as well. I would give this place 5 stars but we don't like how they nickel and dime (ie. Can't bring wood for your fire then charge around $8 for just a few pieces, they also charge for using the paddle boats, etc). Otherwise its a very nice place.

Amazing 8 months here at the KOA, Holiday. The only request that might help seasonal guests would be the WiFi instability as of lately. Maybe this can change so that service when off the grid still works on WiFi. Kudos to all staff for making it a safe and clean place to be.

We camped with a travel trailer and there was hardly anyone else there. Unfortunately, KOA staff put us right next to one of the few other campers, leaving many sites open. Our power/water/sewer connections were right next to the picnic belonging to the other camper. Otherwise, staff and property was great.
