Staying right by the stream was so much fun for all 5 of my kids and my 2 nephews and niece! It was such a safe feeing playing right there. The pool was great, and the playground had quite a bit to do. The slides were old fashioned metal and not the best. Walking the grounds was a delight, beautifully kept!

A wonderful park nestled in the mountains. Lots of great things for kids to do. The staff was super nice. My only complaint was the annoying dogs barking constantly. Every time we stepped outside one dog barked the whole time, and the owners did nothing to quiet them. Others up the street too. My suggestions is putting all the campers with dogs in one area as not to disturb other campers.

Close to hiking and endless other activities, clean, peaceful and very comfortable KOA setting. Camp store is well stocked and the staff could not be friendlier. Even with other opportunities to spend the night, we would very satisfied with this facility and would not hesitate to return.

Love the many activities for kids and ample green space. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that store prices were reasonable. The only negative was that some sites were just too tight and needed a little more space between campers.

Our stay was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only reason for 4 stars is not enough bathhouse. Maybe one or two more would be perfect. And only thing I was in the store that I didn't see was tablecloth clips. That would be a great addition to the store.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Bathhouse was top notch. My granddaughter loved making her cup of hot chocolate...... loved our creek site.

This is our favorite KOA. Book and lock in your creek side spot, they go quickly. Even if you don't get creek side you will have a great time. Promise it will be a great stay. The staff is great. We have been there 4 times and every time we check in the staff remembers our entire family. My kids love the park, play ground, pool, bounce pad, and activities. Our kids wake up and want to run.

The campground was kept clean. It is a great location for the area. we really enjoyed our visit. Our Grandson especially liked the big pillow... and they took advantage of the amenities.,

Everything was great except the fact that the pool closed at 6pm. Seems like it should be open til at least 8-9pm. Sites were pretty narrow as well.

We have 3 children and they were never board! We loved the tie dye shirts and parade! Everyone enjoyed your bounce pillow, pool, basketball court, playground and putt putt. We did wish the game room was open longer as well as the pool. Wifi was in and out so DVDs added to your book collection would be a nice touch. Everything was clean. The campground was quiet. Staff was wonderful!!

It was Fourth of July weekend. The campground was definitely full, but the space is had plenty of room and there was a lot of children of all ages having a lot of fun well kept clean and friendly.

Nice sites, lots are a little close but not bad. Everything was clean and maintained very well. We didn't have any children with us but it is a great place for kids, lots for them to do! We will definitely be back!

Always a great stay here. We’ve been here several times. The park is in a naturally beautiful place, well maintained and the staff is always gracious & accommodating. Can’t go wrong staying here. We’ll be back.

Our site was near the lake. Wonderful view. Only thing that could make it better is maybe the campground store having a better selection of food options and maybe a restaurant or cafe.

We called to get a site last minute while passing through due to the fact that I had to make an unplanned trip to the local ER. The staff was more than accommodating and showed concern when I arrived. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer to take advantage of all of the amenities.

Its good for something close to home. Office closes to early so you dont have time to mini golf or boat especially in the heat of the day. Network never worked the whole time so I had to watch movies on my cell phone. Pretty scenery though.

Appears management don't hold adults responsible for their children. Understand summer but up to and after midnight is late. Spoke to manager about it and instead of saying he'd speak to them, he made excuses for them? I like to see children having fun but they still need supervision and curfews?

The bath house was great and activities but the campstore that handles the activities (paddle boats, putt putt ) should be extended for atleast on the weekends. You are loosing money on the activities closing at 5. That is very uncommon.

Great for kids and pets! Cleanest bathrooms and showers ever! Bad luck had us rained out most of the weekend but the clubhouse is a great spot to hang with a pool table, air hockey and plenty of games and books. Very friendly staff willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and stress free.

My wife and I booked this campground, with the intention of doing activities nearby. The activities turned out to be 35 minutes or longer away each day. We visited Helen twice during our stay, which requires driving each way on a windy mountain highway, which can take between 40 to 50 minutes to navigate from the campground. Be prepared for the hairpin turns, as well as the other turns that are about 90 degrees. This KOA is also not the usual KOA my wife and I are accustomed to, such as Twin Mountain in NH. We didn't realize about half the RV and cabin sites were long term rentals, aka seasonal individuals. Our site was nestled between all of those, though few people were here this week near us. It was also odd to have the KOA store closed on Sunday and Wednesday during our stay. The nearest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes away. The cabins are nice inside, and provide the necessary amenities, to reduce eating out at restaurants. We encountered some deer everyday we were here. I've attached photos below to show how close they will come.
