Sofa dirty and worn out, bed hard as a rock, HVAC made a loud noise during the night which I complained about to no avail, no hand soap provided, no paper towels, kitchen poorly stocked (3 forks). Very bad when we have to pay $210 per night.

Always love staying at this location and love the new things added for dogs and the kids. Really hope to get long term site at this location.

Great campground with lots of activities for kids. Super spacious sites. Campground hosts were incredibly hospitable. We will be back!

We loved our spot by the creek. The view was wonderful and convenient. While there this was a great location to visit the waterfalls and sights in the area.

Tents camped 2 nights. Been staying at this campground for over 53 years. 1st trip was at 6 weeks old! Love the new management. Have a suggestion: a timed light for playground.

the site we were in was so unlevel that we could not sit at the picnic table. Plus it was so close to the next site we were with in 3 feet of there sewer. Never stay again because sites are not like the normal KOA's that we stay at.

Deluxe cabin 5 was great except there were very few sets of silverware, plates, glasses. We loved the mountain/lake views, and the staff was super friendly! We were there with 3 other families and we all agreed we would return!

We only stayed 2nights. The office hours are ridiculous. There were spider webs all over the gazebo and covered bridge, and the swings obviously had not been cleaned in a very long time. We went to check in and it seemed like a huge inconvenience. We got there around 4pm. We also asked to play mini golf the following day at 4:30, but as stated, the office hours are ridiculous cause they close at 5

Grands loved new additions at park - my only issue was only luke warm water Sunday night at bathhouse after park cleared of weekenders - I reported and hopefully no more issues with that

Hosted a group of 48 campers. The campground staff all worked to make our activities and stay most enjoyable. Had the pleasure of working with both Steve and Angela to plan for the group to return Oct. 2024. Simply the very best experience ... Thank you!

So many improvements and upgrades. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Sites are clean and trash pickup is reliable. Very nice stay. Shout out to to Steve who is the best.

Wonderful! Enjoyed the deluxe cabin. One thing - I have stayed in one of the three cabins over 8 times. I've never had a bug problem until this recent visit. Two large roaches - one was crawling on the wall in the bedroom. Yuck!

The Staff was great. The draw back we felt was lack of any information about the local area or attractions, most KOA's have local guides. Even though we were on a get away the not having any tv signals or radio stations to keep up with weather and life outside of the campground was not good.and wifi was hit or miss.

Awsome staff. Check-in/out great. Love the new WiFi and also garbage pickup. A great place for families with lots of amenities (e.g. pool, playgrounds, pond, creek).

We had a great time with our in laws and bffs. Beth in the office is amazing! We fell in love with her. Everyone was really nice. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed at this campground for several years, attending the American Made Music Festival. It was known as Bald Mountain Campground then. KOA has since taken over-wonderful campground but they doubled in price for the next camping season. Needless to say 2023 was our last year camping here. The campground is a wonderful place to stay but almost $100/night is outrageous!

My wife and I stayed for our first wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. This was everything we wanted and then some. We will be making KOA a part of our adventures together and with family. The staff were kind and efficient. Cabin was clean and well stocked! Thank you KOA Hiawassee for helping us make our first anniversary a memorable one!

Nice and clean. Enjoyed walking around the park. Have stayed in the park many times. My only issue is site 7, where we stayed the last two times, has a water/large puddle issue when it rains. It was terrible trying to hook up the camper to leave on Sunday morning. The puddle was right at the hitch.

Dirty molded bathrooms and showers. No clear explanation on how to open bathroom doors with the door combination covered by a second sheet of paper stapled to the first sheet. The office closes at 5pm in the summer which is very inconvenient, especially in the summer. Unable to use paddleboats, putt putt, or pool for the last 4 hours of daylight is something that I have never seen at any other KOA

Simple after hours check in, cabin was clean and supplied as advertised. Laid back stress free weekend with no drama. Enjoyed the views and especially the short drive back and forth to Hiawassee.
