The park had a lot of amenities for families. It was clean and quiet even though it had a lot of campers.

Great campground with lots of space and amenities for everyone. We had three generations and everyone enjoyed it. Loved the little creek too. The staff was all excellent and they were dog friendly too. We all had a great time and will look forward to returning for a longer stay.

The staff was very friendly. Negatives were, there was dog poop in our spot. Bathrooms leave a lot to be desired

They are charging now for a bumping fee. I made reservations for next year & they are charging a $25.00 bumping fee that some one could get me out of my space. We have been going to Bauld Mountain for over 30 years & never had this issue. We have a big family & don't want to be split up & charged a fee & take a chance on being moved from one another.

Great location and well maintained. Have returned 3 times over the last 10 years. Hiawassee is a wonderful place to visit, it's centrally located to visit other sites.

I stayed in one of the cabins as a last minute decision. While the setting was nice my cabin fell short with regard to ready for a guest. Specifically: no towels or soap in the bathroom, no sheets on the bed (or in the cabin), the porch looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some time….I swept it and got rid of the spider webs). Considering the cost I would look at other options next time.

We had a great stay. Was a nice location. Super cute little cabin. I only wish you offered discounts for booking multiple cabins at once because Id like to book for a family vacation and will need 3 cabins.

A very nice place pfor my vacation. The only complaint I have is the internet did not work at all for the entire seven days I was there.

It was very clean and the people were nice. We just don’t like that you must pay extra to lock in a spot. It’s already overpriced related to area campgrounds. We’ve been there before and loved it but this time, our spot was small and the neighbor’s picnic table was almost right next to ours.

Best KOA we have stayed at out of several ones over the past 6 years. Best in the northern Georgia mountains. Only downside and it was not a big deal. was the low water pressure. Spacious sites and much to do in and around the campground. This will be our new mountains fall destination.

Hiawassee KOA is wonderful! The staff is very friendly and the grounds are very clean. Sites are positioned well and easy to access. We will definitely be back soon! Great Job Hiawassee KOA!

Sofa dirty and worn out, bed hard as a rock, HVAC made a loud noise during the night which I complained about to no avail, no hand soap provided, no paper towels, kitchen poorly stocked (3 forks). Very bad when we have to pay $210 per night.

We loved our spot by the creek. The view was wonderful and convenient. While there this was a great location to visit the waterfalls and sights in the area.

Tents camped 2 nights. Been staying at this campground for over 53 years. 1st trip was at 6 weeks old! Love the new management. Have a suggestion: a timed light for playground.

the site we were in was so unlevel that we could not sit at the picnic table. Plus it was so close to the next site we were with in 3 feet of there sewer. Never stay again because sites are not like the normal KOA's that we stay at.

Deluxe cabin 5 was great except there were very few sets of silverware, plates, glasses. We loved the mountain/lake views, and the staff was super friendly! We were there with 3 other families and we all agreed we would return!

We only stayed 2nights. The office hours are ridiculous. There were spider webs all over the gazebo and covered bridge, and the swings obviously had not been cleaned in a very long time. We went to check in and it seemed like a huge inconvenience. We got there around 4pm. We also asked to play mini golf the following day at 4:30, but as stated, the office hours are ridiculous cause they close at 5

Grands loved new additions at park - my only issue was only luke warm water Sunday night at bathhouse after park cleared of weekenders - I reported and hopefully no more issues with that

Hosted a group of 48 campers. The campground staff all worked to make our activities and stay most enjoyable. Had the pleasure of working with both Steve and Angela to plan for the group to return Oct. 2024. Simply the very best experience ... Thank you!

So many improvements and upgrades. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Sites are clean and trash pickup is reliable. Very nice stay. Shout out to to Steve who is the best.

Simple after hours check in, cabin was clean and supplied as advertised. Laid back stress free weekend with no drama. Enjoyed the views and especially the short drive back and forth to Hiawassee.

Always a great time. We can do the campground frequently. Every time we come it's so peaceful and quiet. One of the best places.
