The cleanest KOA that I've ever stayed at, in the most picturesque town in North Georgia. Tons of great hiking right around the corner. All of the staff was very accommodating! We arrived late and realized we booked the incorrect camp site. They were very kind, even after hours and allowed us to make adjustments as needed. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!

Really liked the campground. Wasn't so happy about a public road running through the middle. Also wasn't so great that the sites were so close together. Looking out your window at another camper isn't real great. Bathrooms were outstanding. Adding a feature on the web site to pick available sites during the days you plan to stay would be greatly appreciated. Overall we liked the camp and the locat

Very nice staff beautiful scenery love it. Had fun checking out the local towns and the road ways was so beautiful, went to Helen had lots of fun tried german food very good .

Loved the campground. Very clean , good size lots. The staff super friendly and helpful. The sower houses are very clean. Definitely will be back. Thanks for a great stay !

Exceeded our expectations! Beth is the finest hostess at any of the KOA’s we’ve stay at. The park was quiet and a very pleasant thought out park. The natural beauty there simply has to be seen to be appreciated!

Wonderful campground. Very peaceful. Only complaint was that with many creek sites available on 3/16 night, someone was put at the site right next to us just for one night. (They asked the same question about placement) Would have liked to keep us spread out especially since we were both leaving on the am of the 17th. But overall a good stay.

This place is ideal for an RV family to get away from the city for a weekend or a long haul. Surrounded by mountains in all sides, this place has a picturesque views. Lots of fun things to do for the entire family. The pond is well stocked. Highly recommended! Btw, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We were very well pleased with our stay! We brought our grandson with us, and there was so much for him to do! Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and friendly! We will definitely be coming back!

Our deluxe patio site was well appointed with table and chairs , glider , and firepit. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The ponds and grounds were well kept and enjoyable to walk around . We enjoyed our stay !

We enjoyed renting the cabin. Did not enjoy having to wait around until 9am to register the next morning. An after hours online registration should be available. Still have drainage issues and mud. Access to a bathhouse is very limited.

Very well kept KOA. Gives you the rustic camping vibe with the gorgeous mountain views and the great amenities package. We had a site across from playground and jumpy pillow which was perfect for the kids. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and overall great!

The campground was FANTASTIC!! The staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. The campground was very organized and clean. My campsite was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of Brasstown Bald Mountain. Have already made reservations to return in the fall. I would highly recommend the Hiawasse KOA to anyone looking for a stay in the North Georgia Mountains.

This KOA is the best one we’ve stayed out. My kids enjoyed the amenities and everything was VERY clean. We will definitely be returning!

I needed to call the afternoon of my first day of stay due to my projected late arrival. Was instructed how to check in the next morning and where to find my information packet. Went in the next morning and began a friendship that lasted the entire 7 days. We needed ice and propane gas several times. Temps went down to 22. Needed tech help. All great. Thanks to Beth, Keyshawn, Rhonda, Jim, Todd.

The place was spotless and the cabin I stayed in was spotless and nice and toasty and it was freezing outside. The staff in the office were awesome and friendly and very accommodating and personable. The campground is beautiful with the lakes and the wildlife. Thank you!

This ranks at the very top of my KOA stays, brand-new clean, spacious, beautiful park with some of the country's most friendly staff. Many great restaurants nearby and lots of state park hiking trails.

Sites by the river were hard to get into; luckily nobody was on the site across & that allowed us to get in easier. When we hooked up we blocked the road because we were too long; drivers had to go into site across to get around. We also were not told the bathhouse by our site would be closed. Otherwise, the place was great! Staff were friendly, main bathhouse was nice, lots on property to do!

BEAUTIFUL and very clean campground, very friendly and helpful staff (gave us some great ideas on where to go). This area is close to all the cute towns also. We will be back here in the near future.

The staff at this KOA is one of the best ever. We have stayed all over the country and this staff is second to none. They really made our stay wonderful. The campground is very expansive and there is so much to do. We loved staying here and will come back soon.

Simple after hours check in, cabin was clean and supplied as advertised. Laid back stress free weekend with no drama. Enjoyed the views and especially the short drive back and forth to Hiawassee.
