The campsites are not tended too. There is trash throughout the campground. The fire pit was moved and covered with leaves. It left inches of clearance. The sewer hookup was on the edge of an embankment making it not possible for continuous hook ups.

Good stay. We were located out near the entrance into the campground. There was a bathroom and shower located out there near the laundromat. The bathroom was nasty and never cleaned during the 4 days we were there. The shower wasn’t much better so if I wanted to use a shower, it was a long walk to those behind the office. Maybe pay a little more attention to the bathroom out by the laundrom

Fantastic Campground! Close to the historic Harper’s Ferry Park and there is a free bus ride from the park to the downtown historic area and museums. Very clean campground and super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

This was a very fun KOA. They had a lot of things going on and it looked like the campground was full. We did some laundry while we were there and their facilities were clean with plenty of washers and dryers. Showers were big, clean and water temp was great. The area was great for walking the dogs. I would come back.

Sites are too close. We stayed in site 158 with a travel trailer with 1 slide. My slide was next to our assigned electrical panel. Trailer is 96” wide, and my awning was over the next site’s electrical panel. I could not have a picnic table on my site, was in the neighbors site. Also doing away with the buy 2 nights get one free is a huge turnoff. Shame on you guys for the prices you charge.

Unfortunately hot water in bathhouse was an issue during our stay. The bathrooms are dirty. Mold on rusted shower curtains.

We stayed on a cold weekend, but had a very enjoyable time. We had a small issue with our trailer, but the staff helped us find a repairman who got it taken care of quickly. We will keep this campground in mind for future trips.

Bathrooms were dirty and clogged multiple times through the stay, toilet paper at many of the sites had clearly been dug out of the sewer caps and not cleaned up, front desk staff was unhelpful to a gentleman asking simply for a rake to clean leaves up from his site, just seemed like they were over the season and should have shutdown weeks earlier.

We appreciated your well maintained campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, we did not appreciate the fact that the main bath house which was supposed to be cleaned from 9 to 10 was twice being cleaned around 8:20 when we went to use the facilities. If you are going to post times of maintenance then abide by them.

There are ample activities for children, and the KOA organizes numerous events for adults and families on weekends. Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site activities, such as coffee and wine tastings & a pancake Breakfast.

You have 1 employee that has no respect for others personal space. He was the Night shift employee who has a terrible temper and instigated issues with a camper out of the blue. There were no warnings giving and campsite was not loud. He acted very unprofessional in 2 different incidents. Hope next time he is no longer there. We have never had an experience like this before. TERRIBLE

I love the campground but your rates are excessive and you nickel and dime for every little thing. Charging resort fee after Labor Day is ridiculous you charge a fee for most activities and are short staffed for others. Charging a fee for pets is silly, can’t keep track of KOA rewards but want to charge $40 for a membership that you will never benefit from. No military discount…REALLY?????

This was our third stay in four years, we always are treated well and greeted warmly, and we always have a great time. Planning on trip #4 in 2026!

Great stay enjoyed the views and activities, but sites 159, 158 and 157 are way too close to each other. We stayed in 158 and 157 power pedestal and sewer were literally right in front of our camper door almost and the folks in 159 camp chairs were in front of our camper. We should have asked to be moved.

All of Harper’s Ferry was such a find. It was a happy accident that we found the Historic Park AND there was a KOA right there. You should go. Hike, shop, explore history. Very nice people and amenyat the park.

It was good for a short stay. We were there just one night- sites too close for a longer stay for us. Campground clean. Only one toilet and shower for the campground, so if your okay using your own…didn’t use laundry. Propane fill up was a great service. Goofy wanting us to wear I’d bracelets.

We go in October for Halloween for last decade. Always a good time. Harpers ferry a fun place. The Camp have activities for the kids. sites are a 6/7 out of 10. Disappointed we can't go next year due to camps changes in allowing reservation. In past able to reserve a year in advance for your weekend. Spaces were booked up by the time we got there.

This year, the one security person had quite a few run ins with our group of families and friends. It almost felt like we were being targeted and bullied by him to show dominance. That is 100% unacceptable! It also made us not want to go to any of the activities that camp ground offers in fear her would be there as well. He was the thinner, young male, we never were able to get a name from him.

The staff is fabulous! The activities for Halloween wknds are for all ages, and the haunted house is spectacular. The campground due to its topography is hilly & makes leveling an RV extremely difficult, causing me to bend my rear leveling jacks! Also, sites are tight. Though I booked a year ago, I was given a site that was way too small for my RV. The cleanliness of the restrooms was poor.

Based on the cost and conditions of the site, I’d stay in a Walmart parking lot next time. The staff is very nice and helpful during check in. Site was sub-sub-par! The poop tube was literally crappy. I’ll be clean my equipment after staying there. Do you realize for a few dollars more I could have stayed across the ravine at the Clarion. A few dollars! rules are getting ridiculous. prices steady going up. some staff are on a serious power trip. they will stop your cart if your doing over 6mph and watch a kid on an ebike come flying by 20mph. and not say a word. seems they want you in you camper asleep by 10pm. you cant make a sound or they come and threaten to kick you out. its not the camping experience it used.

Stayed at this campground for several years, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to secure a site for next year. I’m really disappointed that reservations opened on October 1st, and I didn’t receive any email notification about it. On top of that, the prices for the remaining sites are outrageous. Sites are expensive, but it is a really nice campground. The camp WiFi AND VERIZON CELLULAR were completely clobbered and 80% not functional during our weekend stay.

Very nice and clean campground. Very friendly staff. I love this campground. We have been coming here for over 15 years. My only complaint is the price . They have double there prices for a one night stay on the holiday to $165 a night on Friday and Saturday night. Thru the week it running from $129 to $149. I think this is really over price. Compared to other KOA's, this one could take some notes. Weekly activities are severely underwhelming, and it does not seem there is any maintenance for bugs (three summers we have witnessed this). However, the location is perfectly sandwiched between Harper's Ferry and easily accessible areas like Frederick and Shepherdstown.

A beautiful location close to great hikes and history. The team at this KOA are very friendly and the service level is high. Easy to navigate for big rigs. Facilities are consistently clean and well maintained. After the July 4th weekend, the team diligently cleaned every vacated space of debris and the usual camping detritus left by weekenders. In two days camp was back to normal. Put this campground on your must visit list.

Great location. Some spots are a little difficult and be careful of poison ivy. But staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, and had good amount to do at the campground. (Also just wish the pool had an adults happy hour)
