The sites weren’t level, there were cigarette butts all over. The person at the register didn’t know how to apply the rewards. We weren’t happy with the first site so we requested another. The person was very polite in letting us do that, unfortunately the second site was no better. Full of butts and not level.

The location is awesome. We stayed in a premium patio site and was disappointed to pay so much for an unlevel site. When catering to large Class As, you should spend the extra time and money to give them a level site. We'll be back, but we had to walk the whole property and make notes so we don't have this happen again... We also felt "nickle&dimed" alot with extras fees.....

The location was perfect. Our stay was better than expected. The sites in the area we were were not very level but we made it work. The civil war history within the park was unexpected. Beautiful park to jog/walk around. Great dog park. Laundry could b better. Machines needed a good cleaning.

I have not been here in close to 10 years. I will come back but will not stay on the same site. Site 58 fits a 30 foot RV but getting it on the site with a crew cab long bed truck was a challenge. I would recommend the management think about this when advertising the site and or people check in. I have been traveling with a travel trailer for 20 years.

Very nice setting with wonderful amenities. Bath houses were clean with privacy for showers. Registration was a breeze & everyone was really nice & helpful.

The campground is very nice, is clean, has great amenities, and is most convenient t the NP. I want to give it the top ratings, but when the weekend crowd came in on Thursday, there was still a lot of noise after the quiet time was supposed to start at 10:00pm. Things finally settled down around 11:30pm and we were able to get to sleep. We left for our next destination on Fri morning.

Clean and well-cared for RV park with both new and old RV spaces. The pull throughs in the old area are not level and are accessed via narrow roads with large trees on the side. Not large RV friendly in those areas.

Quiet in their "off" season. Plenty to do. Site was close to things and fairly flat. People were very friendly. Game room, and the wine/coffee house were closed were probably my only disappointments. Dog park was nice but I think a little too far from campers so not used much.

This campground looks like a fantastic place for a family destination. We were here for the Harpers Ferry sites which are conveniently close. Some sites are cramped but others look very nice (you get what you pay for).

The KOA was nice when it was almost empty, but on the weekends, it's like sardines in a tin can. My biggest complaint was the laundry room. It's huge and very spacious BUT the place was filthy. Front loaders were soured, top loader were so dirty on top and inside the lid with dirt. Many had power detergent still inside which told me no one cleans. Some driers ran, but no heat. I had to clean!

I think the bathrooms and showers could have been a lot cleaner. My sewer connection was broken for my hookups. It would be nice coming in on a Sunday afternoon not to be charged weekend rate.

We arrived after dark and found our assigned spot was not level and the water spigot was faulty but the after hours attendant got us resituated and all was good - we didn’t have time but there are a lot of amenities and activities and would be a great multi day destination.

I was just there for a quick overnight stay, and it was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful, shower was nice and hot and clean! My site was large, and everything worked well--even the WIFI! The price was reasonable, and I loved the proximity to Harpers Ferry National Park!

We always love it in Harpers Ferry, we've been coming for the last 12 years in October. I would suggest, and have in the past, that you bring in some fill dirt to cover some of the roots that are exposed. At night they become a tripping hazard. Your staff is fantastic and we've already booked for next year.

We’ve historically loved this campground. This time it seemed like it’s been less loved on though. Half the arcade was out of order (a staple for rainy weekends) and our site while saying it fit our RV BARELY fit. We couldn’t open our awning, set up a canopy or a table to cook on. Very disappointing, especially since we entered the size of our rig. Staff is always great though.

Great activities and events. Breakfast is super reasonable. Travel trailers are crammed in like sardines. No room whatsoever.

Sites were not level. Tree branches were low and in the road. There was loud music and fighting at night. People drove over the speed limit in golf carts and rangers. The front desk treat us like we were an inconvenience.

Issued camp site 195, but when we got to it it was on a slope and was very uneven. Went back to the office, gave us site 193 which had the same problem, we were so lopsided we had to use every leveler we had and additional wood planks to make us level. Stairs to camper was about 5 inches short even fully extended, we had to use wood planks so we could get into camper. Pls level sites!

We stayed 3 nites, the showers & restrooms were always clean & the property as a whole was well kept. Staff was always kind & professional. Would come back in a heartbeat - highly recommend

This was a very nice campground, well kept and exceptional staff. I do wish the coffee and wine store (Grapes & Grinds) had been open during the week, though.

Disappointing �! 1 nite stay. Requested pull thru so as not to unhook the travel trailer from the truck. Arrived after hours. Site 100 was assigned to us. Very un level. If we stayed connected and did not unhook, we hung out into the road. Once we did get set up, sort-of, we were walking on an angle all evening, the cable connection was jerry rigged from the next pedestal over and snowy tv.

Sites were nice and level. Staff was friendly. Negatives..Dog poop in different areas of the site, kids riding bikes after dark way too fast and some had no lights, way too many barking dogs and quiet hour not enforced. Not being able to book my site for next year because you have to book the year before. I am 100% certain I will not be renewing and have no desire to go to another KOA.

My family and friends love staying at the Harpers Ferry KOA for the Halloween weekend, which is why we continue to come back every year. Even the construction/detour didn't prohibit us this year. However, I am still inclined to complain about a few things. 1, we had one of the newer, "premium" sites in the back and it was FAR from a level site. 2, the wifi and cable leave alot to be desired

I get it everything is costing more, however after making plans for next year many in our group are thinking twice about spending the amount of money for a weekend of camping. We will all get together during the holidays and decide. Always enjoy camping there but I still have bills and need to live.

Stay there Friday Saturday morning. Very nice clean and well organized campsite. It was very peaceful and relaxing, We will be back.

Learned that we shouldn't have camped there till the warmer weather when they open the whole campground. All campers were in one location, close to road and local homes. I didn't enjoy my view of the locals homes that were less than 100 ft from our site. I was hoping to be in the wooded area . But service was great. Employees were friendly. I would go back when they open the whole facility.
