The first KOA that I've stayed at and been dissatisfied. The scenery and location are great, but the layout of the KOA, and our spot (87) in particular, left us frustrated and questioning who designed the park. The communal amenities like the playground and fire pit were placed across the street from the sewage treatment and smelled awful. Hopefully this was an isolated experience.

No cable or internet for 2 days. Cable was very fuzzy the first night.

It was just an over night stay on our way home to Pittsburgh from North Carolina Outer Banks. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a great location and an easy walk to White Horse Tavern via the path. Our site was somewhat unlevel which we dealt with. I was very disappointed in the bathrooms as they were very unclean and only one stall had a latch on it.

All went well. As with all areas I know including my home in PA there are a lot of dying ash trees in the camping area that will need to come down. Sad. We have spent many thousands on them. The campsite was tight but that's a KOA so no real isdues

I was extremely disappointed with the KOA brand that they allowed a obviously long term camper to fly a HUGE flag in front of their RV with Trumps face on it.

We arrived about 40 minutes after the office closed ut our paperwork was waiting outside...no problem. The dogpark was very convenient and spacious, but as usual, some folks feel they don't need to clean up after their pets. We never steeped foot in the office. We stayed 3 nights and it was nice to be so close to Harper's Ferry Nat'l Park.

Site 107 was the first level site I ever had at a KOA.

This was not our first time staying here. The campground is great. They always have something to do. The staff is friendly. The campground is clean.

We had a great time even though campfires were not permitted that weekend there were plenty of activities at the KOA. The town of Harper’s Ferry is so much fun!

Nice campground, just a little tight. Have 35 foot travel trailer and it was quite the experience trying to get out of the campsite.

We booked for this location on where we wanted too stay while visiting the area

Very nice park. Wish we stayed longer

Front desk woman needs to be replaced or you need escorts that know what they are doing. I was told to drive through and turn around to face the parking lot. Upon getting to the site it was impossible to do a 180 turn. In doing a K-Turn to get into the site an anchor cable for nearby power pole caught the fender on my motorhome and tore it. I should have been told to back into the site.

Great stay with awesome service from the staff. Always like coming to Harpers Ferry KOA. Wish our patio site 198 was as level as expected, but that’s what blocks and Kojacks are for. Can’t wait to return.

This KOA is very nice with plenty of activities on site. We biked over to the National Park visitor center and rode the shuttle to the Old Village. Very convenient. Look forward to making a return trip.

Met with my Grandchildren their and had a great time. The KOA and the surrounding area had many great opportunities.

The site required a large number of leveling blocks due tp the slope angle from FL to RR. Tree stump in middle of site limited clearance. Adjacent site proximity was so narrow they had to setup partially in our site so the could clear the trees.

We stayed in site #197, The roads were a little tight. we drive a 40' DP w/ toad The maintenance guys were very helpful when I was having trouble with fresh water hook up. (Personal operator error on something new I put on my MH). The site could use a little better leveling but overall a very good experience. The coffe shop was wonderful!

The campground is always well maintained, and we had a great time as always. Special shout out to KOA maintenance crew who helped us fix our truck when we had a broken brake line on Easter Sunday!!!! They really saved us.

We enjoyed our stay but would recommend the following. In most other KOA campgrounds, someone from the staff would lead you to your site. We have observed rigs going around and around trying to either find their site or trying to see which is the best way to enter their site. Although it is a relatively small campground, this little added amenity would be a welcomed addition.

Just sad jump pillow was closed… no other site has required supervision for it before so not sure why this one does. Some sites were a little crowded but was very nice when most weekenders left and it was quiet. Good places for kids to ride bikes, mini golf was fun, playgrounds ok. All was very clean… easy access to harpers ferry park.

Laundry machines very dirty, need through cleaning. Bathroom at laundry very dirty. Look at the inside of the door. If you were at a hotel and the bathroom door looked like that, what would you think.

Water had a slimy film and after we boiled the water it had a white/salty look. We used a water filter & flushed the filter twice, but still had the discoloration.

The pull through sites in our section were very short. The original site given wouldn’t fit our 33’ RV and car. Requested a larger site which fit but wasn’t much better. Size of the RV should be taken into consideration when assigning sites.

Catv not working, mine and several sites. Don't watch much tv, but for price I would expect everything to work. Sites are tight.

The campsites desperately need new gravel. They are way out of level. We stayed here last year and it does not look like there has been any improvement. We will not be coming back to this KOA

This is a great place to enjoy the weekend. Plenty of activities or grandkids can’t wait to go again.

Our stay was generally pleasant but with a few caveats. We stayed in site# 139, which was too sloped to be comfortable. We couldn't use the picnic table because of this. Another issue was that the sewer connection is so far from the RV, I had to purchase a 3rd section of sewer hose to reach it. Also the Mini golf course needs to be swept free of all the stones.

Only 2 points of criticism are the bouncy pillow thing closed at 6pm already and it was mentioned nowhere. And secondly the campsite itself was the most unleveled if ever seen. Literally felt like I had the worst spot of all. Spot 195 for reference. I’m estimating I needed 10 inches of blocks for wheels and jacks at the back. insane for a class C. Late arrival, couldn’t change spot cuz dark.

We love staying at the RV park. Staff is always eager to help, and sites are in great shape. Close to must-see areas and great eateries.

Very fun weekend! We took three teenagers and they had a great time at basketball, volleyball and the arcade. There's a lot for kids to do. We did rafting at River Riders--there is a walking path there from the campground. The only negative is the lack of knowledge of the employees at registration. I called ahead to find out what was there, and they didn't know much. As a result, we brought lots of unnecessary stuff. When checking in, they sent us to the wrong cabin (in a completely different area). Here's some info in case it can help someone be more informed than we were: The camp store is well-stocked. They have all the basics, plus beer and wine. Wood is $7 per bundle and they will deliver to your site. Coffee is available at Grapes and Grinds. The lady that worked there is very knowledgeable--go to her with questions about the area. There are a couple of restaurants that deliver to the campground. Those were advertised on the map we got at registration. The pavilion sells pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage and coffee during the summer season 8-11am. We stayed in cabin KL05. KL01-KL07 are lodges with bathrooms. Don't confuse them with K101, etc. I don't know why they don't change the numbers...the staff can't even keep it straight. Anyway, the ones that start with KL are lodges (L for lodge). Ours was nice, clean and had the most comfortable queen mattress we've found in a campground cabin. Here's what's in the lodge, so maybe you won't have to pack so much: The queen bed is made with clean linens and pillows. There's a set of linens and pillows for the twin beds. All were fresh and clean. We only needed a fitted full sheet to cover the futon. There was a coverlet and pillow for that, but we didn't see any sheets. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. There are also hotel style shampoos and bar soaps. Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided. In the kitchen, there is a full-sized refrigerator with top freezer. There's a microwave and two-burner stove. No oven. There's a Kuerig with four pods of various flavors. There are pots and pans, eating and cooking utensils, bowls, a cutting board, cups and glasses, and measuring cups and spoons. There's dish detergent and a clean towel. There are paper towels, toilet paper and two trash bags. Outside there is a fire ring with picnic table. The fire ring has the big grill that flips so it can be over the fire. If you are going to use that, you will probably need a grill brush to clean it. Hope this helps someone pack. Have a great time!
