The kids had a blast and can't wait to Come back again We were a little bummed the costume contest was canceled with no prior warning except when we showed up there was a small sign saying it in registration.

It was convenient to see things in the area. It was unfortunate that we couldn't get a third night to continue seeing things there. The cable quality was pretty bad.

We stayed 2 nights in a back in site, fairly level, only one block under one side. Busy place but a lot to see in the area. Rode our bikes along the Tow Trail for 10 miles. Nice smooth, shady path. Friendly staff, great pancake breakfast. T-Mobile worked ok, easy off and on to the interstate. 2nd time staying here.

I enjoyed the stay. Being next to candy bingo and breakfast pancakes was nice. Met nice people, walked my dogs and enjoyed the pool. My spot was nice.

We were very busy with many activities thru river riders. The campground was friendly, accommodating, clean; all things campers are looking for with their stay.

The staff were friendly, but the camp bathrooms were dirty and the spaces could be better managed. There were a ton of people.in one or two areas and others were empty.

Your desk staff is wonderful! But your showers and restrooms are horrible. It’s so sad. We love camping there. We got there on a Saturday. Granted it was a very busy weekend. I use a shower on Saturday night. There was a lot of hair and a bar of soap left on the floor. I went to use the same shower on Sunday. Hair and soap were still there. Monday I want to use the shower ended up leaving. C’m

Where do I start, the grass was about 8 inches high. The sewer system is the worst every time you use the bathroom you have to go out and lift your hose to drain it. Our trash out for a day and half before they picked it up just rode by it and maintenance is not friendly at all. Bath houses very dirty. Roads are in bad shape. Only good thing we found was the girls in reservations are friendly.

Grass needs cut,septic needs to be level with the ground,trash was put out at the front of site and sat there for a day and half as workers just drove by it,showers where very dirty,this koa has went down hill in the last 2 years

The stay was good but the café/arcade and the bathroom was absolutely filthy. There were half empty bottles and other trash on the floor that wasn't picked up or vacuumed in the 4 days that we were camping. .

Overall pleasant stay, the pull through sites too narrow, the access roads to get to sites too narrow, There is no gas station within 20 miles of that koa We will not stay again and will not recommend to anyone with class A over. 30 feet, unable to tow toads or trai,ers

Best part of this campground was the proximity to the Harpers Ferry National Historic Park. We had some problems with water pressure and quality that we reported as we departed our one night stay, hopefully this will be addressed for future campers. It took quite a while for the fresh water tap to run clear as we prepared to connect. LOTS OF SPEEDBUMPS so be careful if you have stabilizers.

This is the 3rd year celebrating sister’s weekend while camping in Harper’s Ferry. We love the restaurants, history and the variety of activities that are available near the campground. The cleanliness of the campground and friendly staff is the icing on top!

We have been staying at the KOA Harpers Ferry Civil War Battlefields KOA for the past 4 years. It is a great location and provides many great amenities to the campers. We enjoy biking the C&O Canal and can take a shuttle from the National Park to town with our bikes. Also enjoy hiking the many great trails including parts of the Appalachian Trail. Costs have gone up considerably.

We were happy with our stay. Most amenities were as described. The location was great and the place was clean. We were a little disappointed that the indoor movie theater only played movies on Friday and Saturday.

For the price we paid for our site I am not happy. The reason was that the showers were being cleaned from 9 to10 and when I tried to take my shower there was no hot water. I let it run for 10 minutes and still no hot water. I complained and one answer was did I try another shower. The only plus was that they are located right next to the national park.

The property is very nice and lots to do. Excellent service and great staff. Only negatives are some sites are very close to each other and the quiet hours start at 10pm, whereas many other parks have quiet hours at 11pm. Overall, great experience.

Campground was mostly quiet and clean. The bathrooms however were not. Sadly its the other guests that make the facility disgusting with unflushed toilets, toilet paper shreds on the floor and urine on the toilets. It was so relaxing, office staff exceptional ! Biggest fix we saw after years of camping here were the shape of the roads. They get worse each year and need to be re paved. Close for 2 weeks and maintain (definitely must be enough money) to resurface the roads and gravel/level some of the campsites. Go from site to site and straighten up the water and electric hookups would also be attractive.

Our site was very un-leveled and the concrete and the site was cracked and raised that it even made it difficult to sit a chair or table without it falling over. I feel if yo are going to change more for these type of sites the it should be maintained

Campsites were to close together, and you could not watch tv due to poor internet service. We were suppose to stay 4 days. We stayed 2 days and left . They really do need to up grade their internet service

Excellent stay! Nice pull through site, clean, well kept, great pool area and lots of activities. Sadly there was a camper diagonal to us that was loud and partying until 1:30 in the morning our first night. We would definitely camp at Harpers Ferry KOA again.

We came in for a one night stay. Driving in at dusk. We have large camper and the roads and sites were very tight. The campground was loud when we arrived, like at an amusement park. This place is fine if you like that type of environment. But way too busy for our liking. The campground could use some maintenance broken pavement, large old rotted stumps that impede manuvering.

I camp at KOA because they reliably have a good laundromat- this laundromat was filthy. Hair and dirt on top and inside of all the machines. Several were broken. Severely understaffed according to a staff member. Front desk was very kind and welcoming. I still reccomend the campground- not the laundry facilities.

Site was not long enough for our camper to sit level front to back. Site was also badly sloped downhill side-to-side. Site 138 is not suitable for a 31' unit. Tow vehicle parking was also bad. Picnic table and benches filthy, grease-covered, had chunks of wood missing. Men's restroom not cleaned for 3 days, feces on toilet, showers not cleaned, same mess for days. Staff was nice. Pool was great.

Our cable TV hookup didn’t work. WiFi and cell service were spotty at best. On weekend days, we’re unattainable. We were on site 77 which, for the price, was a very small site. I thought, for a 5 night stay, $90 in fees was quite excessive.

This was the WORST KOA we have ever visited. The grass/ weeds were overgrown and unkempt. A ‘permanent’/long term camper has junk stacked around its camper that was roof high. The campground looked like a ghetto. Unfortunately we had to do laundry, and every other washer and dryer was out of service. What a disappointment!! I plan to share with KOA corporate. Once again we had a great weekend stay! We camp here with friends about 6 times a year and every visit is just as great as the last. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the grounds are well kept and the activities are good for the entire family. We will be back in about 3 weeks and we can't wait!

Compared to other KOA's, this one could take some notes. Weekly activities are severely underwhelming, and it does not seem there is any maintenance for bugs (three summers we have witnessed this). However, the location is perfectly sandwiched between Harper's Ferry and easily accessible areas like Frederick and Shepherdstown.

A beautiful location close to great hikes and history. The team at this KOA are very friendly and the service level is high. Easy to navigate for big rigs. Facilities are consistently clean and well maintained. After the July 4th weekend, the team diligently cleaned every vacated space of debris and the usual camping detritus left by weekenders. In two days camp was back to normal. Put this campground on your must visit list.

Great location. Some spots are a little difficult and be careful of poison ivy. But staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, and had good amount to do at the campground. (Also just wish the pool had an adults happy hour)
