We loved our stay. Halloweekends are our favorite and your haunted house is always a great experience that surpasses our expectations. Bathrooms are clean, activities are plentiful, staff is incredibly kind, and store is well stocked. Thank you for a great weekend, see you next year!

Lovely campsite. WAAAAY overpriced, especially with the add on resort fee. The only activity that we used was the dogpark.

The events they had going on were cute but really only focused on Saturday. The bathroom did not appear to be cleared the entire time of our stay. The campground was large and had decent spacing between sites.

As usual. Very nice stay with. nice amenities and friendly people. Very busy weekend at the campsite. Seemed a little understaffed as the bathrooms were not cleaned all weekend. Very strange as they are usually spotless. Lots of activities going on. Great stay as always.

Always enjoy staying at HF KOA. A couple of minor things: Looks like site 82 was recently refurbished, couldn't initially find the cable connection, found it eventually on the ground (not attached to power post), also the sewer pipe appears to be loose. Otherwise great stay as always!

First time with a trailer and this campground. Everyone was very nice and helpful and they seemed to offer all sorts for people to do. We only did the haunted house which was way above our expectations.

The campground was nice. However, the pet area was not clean off other dog droppings and there was poison ivy. We have noted that you need to reserve a more expensive site to have more space, a leveler area, and more adjacent hookups. This was our third KOA and I'm not sure we will look at another.

We had one of the nicer patio sites. A bit tight maneuvering out. This place is really busy with a lot going on a good part of the time. We were there almost two weeks visiting family and over all everything was fine.

Soap dispenser never replaced in bathrooms for the 3 days was there. Showers weren’t very clean

Campground was quiet and clean. Not sure where all the stink bugs have come from but our RV is loaded with them. I have caught it seems like dozens in our Shamrock since returning home.

Large campground. Easy check in. Plenty of space to unhook in front. Large spaces for big rigs. Great store!

The sites are in need of a lot of maintenance. Our first sight was very sloped to the and needed to be graded and additional gravel brought in being that there were a lot of highs and lows located throughout the pad. We ended having to move since we were unable to get the RV to level out. At our second site, we were placed under an acorn tree, which pummeled our RV during our entire stay.

The sites could use some updating. We stayed in Site 45, where the railroad ties are rotted and full of holes, which poses a safety concern for someone potentially twisting an ankle. The mini golf course was also covered in debris, and we ended up using our own leaf blower to clear it before we could play.

A fun location to get off the grid. Close, but yet a place to get away. The wifi isn't great, but I didn't go to be plugged in. Loved the convenience to the National Park.

Loved our stay! We had a nice, quiet and relaxing long weekend. I was really happy to see that the store stayed open to 10:00 and everyone that worked there was so friendly. Our site was perfect, can’t wait to come back.

Security lurked 40FT from site114, approached us 5 times disrespectfully and aggressively, accusing us of excessive noise. We were talking but expected to whisper and falsely told several neighbors complained multiple times. Neighbors were all awake till midnight having a merry time.. I conclude we were a shade Darker. called out disgruntled guard for NOT rounding other sites equally targeting us

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Site 114 is right next to the office where the night patol often waits for late campers to arrive. I can assure you there was no targeting, and others were informed of the rules as well. They were, however, close by and able to hear the noise coming from your site very well.

I was more than disappointed with this KOA. It’s marketed as a Holiday & charge resort fees but they provide no amenities. The pool was closed, the on site cafe was closed, there was no site escorts, no trash pick-up, no firewood delivery, The sites were cramped & very unlevel and the wood on the picnic table was rotten. The only positive, it is very close to Harpers Ferry

I would have given a 5 but my site was not big enough for my trailer and truck. I had to park in the parking lot. Other than that there were no issues. Campground was quiet and convenient. Ladies at check in and store workers are awesome.

I was there for 2 days. Very obvious the bathrooms were not cleaned daily. The staff was very friendly and nice. Although, it would have been nice to have seen a night security guard on the property. Campers near me got drunk and was loud past quiet time. It developed into an argument and someone fired off three rounds of a gun in the campground at 10:30 PM. It was frightening.

My complaint was the "resort fee" that's added to your campsite fee each night. I was told it pays for the nice pool (which was closed for the season) and things like the gaga pit and inflatable bounce thing. I'm 73. Not using any of it. If it's a mandatory fee, just build it into the site fee. I don't like nickel and dime charges (but this was ten bucks) for things other campgrounds include.

IT was dark when we arrived and we had trouble finding our site .Would have been nice to have someone hop on a cart and show us. Campground was clean and bathrooms were nice and clean. Only complaint we have was the neighbors across the street smoked weed every evening and was not enjoyable to sit around our campfire because of the smell.

We loved the campground and the quick response when we had no water. However I highly, highly recommend you consider removing the big boulders placed at each corner of the large rig sites. We were in site 8 which when leaving made us face I triangle of boulders. Unfortunately we hit a boulder which has now caused thousands of dollars in damage to our rig.

Compared to other KOA's, this one could take some notes. Weekly activities are severely underwhelming, and it does not seem there is any maintenance for bugs (three summers we have witnessed this). However, the location is perfectly sandwiched between Harper's Ferry and easily accessible areas like Frederick and Shepherdstown.

A beautiful location close to great hikes and history. The team at this KOA are very friendly and the service level is high. Easy to navigate for big rigs. Facilities are consistently clean and well maintained. After the July 4th weekend, the team diligently cleaned every vacated space of debris and the usual camping detritus left by weekenders. In two days camp was back to normal. Put this campground on your must visit list.

Great location. Some spots are a little difficult and be careful of poison ivy. But staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, and had good amount to do at the campground. (Also just wish the pool had an adults happy hour)
