Beautiful campground! We enjoyed our stay! The staff is so friendly and it’s walking distance to the National Park !

We encountered a few issues during our stay. Although site 197 was stunningly beautiful, it had a significant issue: it was unlevel by 8.5 inches to the left. This unevenness required a lot of extra setup and ultimately caused damage to our camper when we attempted to remove the additional equipment needed to make the site usable. The staff we encountered was amazing and very helpful!

This was our second, and last, visit. Again, we were placed on a terrible site when there were loads of nice, vacant sites all around. This time the site was literally on a hill. Also, unadvertised pet fee is unacceptable.

I had a premium site, and it had so many weeds around patio and fire ring. The water hook up leaked at the top of the handle, I reported it, and it never got fixed. Most sites are hard to get into and out of. The roads are awful. Dumpster filled up so fast and only got emptied 1 time in my 8-night stay. There is no escort to your, site and many had to circle around numerous times.

Our stay was great like always! We usually stay here about 6 times a year and we always have a great time. The staff is excellent and super friendly, the grounds are well maintained and when an issue does arrive the staff springs into action and takes care of it. Any one looking for a relaxing and well maintained camp grounds, you can never go wrong at Harpers Ferry KOA!

I saddened that we will be avoiding this campground in the future due very bad experience twice, once with reverse polarity on reserved site, second time a obviously dead tree hanging over camper with impeding storms coming. This was also a reserved spot and wanted us move to worse spot, so after just one night we went home.

It would be nice if they would gravel some of the sites that need it. We stayed at 164 and was a dust bowl because of lack of rain. When you do sand art you almost need 2 people doing it. They ran out of the colors that they offered. Rushed us during ceramic painting, and rushed during tye dye.

This is a very clean campground. The staff was very polite ,and friendly.. This is one of my favorite campground. We come twice a year. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and visit. There is alot for kids to do, as well for adults to do

The stay was excellent. The personnel were polite and helpful. Surprised the office/store was open till 10 PM. The activities kept the whole family busy enjoying them. The size of the KOA campground was the largest one I been to, and I been to quite a lot of KOAs throughout the USA. Plan on going back in the near future.

stay was OK, but site 124 is not level and had to use ramps to level my RV. Site could have been cleaner, lots of bits of trash at site and in fire pit. We stayed until Tuesday Morning and was disappointed that the bounce pad was shut down on Monday afternoon. Noise from the bunkhouse AC was a bit annoying since it was empty, not occupied.

All was good. Hard to level on the site near civil war path. The speedbumo at entry was high and my rv bottom out on the levelers causing damage.

Sites very unlevel gravel at the base of roadway by cabin 123 very thick , I witnessed 3 people on bikes fall as they got bogged down Walking our bikes back to our camper we were stopped at 1015 and told we weren’t supposed to have bikes out ! Seriously we are 73 and 71 !

Very clean and fun environment. The kids had a great time and we were comfortable with letting them loose to go play at the playground by themselves whenever they wanted. There were not any disturbances and we were able to have a peaceful sleep in a busy spot. The store had everything we might've forgotten.

Enjoyed our stay just wish we could have driven our electric Golfcart after 10pm, I understand trying to keep noise down but when vehicles are louder then Golfcarts it doesn’t make much sense

The front desk staff was amazing! Helped us figure out how to switch sites when a tree was blocking our door. The made the situation super easy! The bath houses left a bit to be desired, floors stayed wet and made it difficult to change while keeping dry. And they were not always the cleanest but we always had hot water.

The staff were great and very helpful. We arrived on Thursday afternoon got set up and had a great night. Friday night people moved in behind us at 9:30 pm and the drinking and playing started. I excepted that being a Friday night. I spoke to people at the office and they said they would have security watch on Saturday night. This was our inaugural stay with our RV! We did have to move sights, 112 to 110. Considering that these are “premium” sites I do believe that they could be more level. Other than that it was lovely. The girl working the check in counter could not have been nicer and more helpful!! Kudos to her. The gentleman (security) that we spoke to while out on a walk Friday evening was also very pleasurab

Office staff were nice. Camp store is well stocked. Pool was very clean and the game room was fun. But when they say some sites are unlevel believe it! Don’t stay in the back wooded section unless you have great leveling blocks, etc. No one was around us at all and they put us on the side of a slope where we were nervous about using so many leveling blocks. So if it says unlevel site, it is!

Like most KOAs, Harper’s Ferry KOA is clean, well run, and staffed with very friendly people. There is a lot of amenities, especially for children. It’s conveniently located close to the national park. And, you can’t beat the breakfasts!

$10 resort fee huge issue . No pickle ball courts, no extra activities during the day and night, no community fire pit is at other KOAs without resort fee. cafe was closed & no one knew when it would open, even though a sign posted pizza and wings available. Sites are not maintained. We picked up plastic forks & trash by our site. Craft area patio was a mess & never cleaned up. no communicatio

The site we were in was a sloped side of a hill. There wasn’t any level space . The bath house was not clean and maintained. Empty toilet paper was common in the stalls and the showers were filthy. The camp sites were extremely narrow and campers were on top of each other with dogs barking all the time and people blaring music at 10pm at night.

Awesome place! Great amenities & activities, super friendly staffs. Couldn't have asked for more! Oh actually there is one. If there's is an option for sites that doesn't require RV leveling, we'd definitely be willing to pay more for that. It was a bit of struggle for us as a RV first timer. But we worked it out and learned a new skill!

The policy of charging 30 dollars to reserve a specific site is simply intolerable. The myself and 2 other campers were taken for 90 dollars just to know we would be camping together. I've tolerated it the past 10 yrs because management worked with me and only charge one group the original 20 dollars, attaching the other 2 by note in file. Now that this isnt an option, I will no longer come.

Stay was awesome All of the staff in the front store /office were excellent Had one issue and that was that security yelled at my wife while she was as saying good night to the neighbors dogs alittle after 10 she was not be loud she was standing over the dogs just saying goodnight and they guy came over and yelled that he didn’t wanna her her voice for the rest of the night

The lock in fee used to get you a free bundle of wood, I feel that you should bring that back. We typically stay here multiple times a year with a larger group of friend so we all pay the lock in fee. We love the coupon codes on the website to use when booking.

Great location close to historic Harper's Ferry and walking distance to the historic park. The campground has a lot to do but since we were just here one night, all we did was play a couple rounds of mini golf. There's also a pool, gem mining (!) and other games around the property.

The campground is massive. The RV sites are very level. It's really nice. We most definitely want to go back. They have so much to do.ctherr is no such thing as boardom here. My only complaint is we asked what days and times the pancake breakfast started and the coffee shop opened andneither of them started when they said. There just needs to be more communication with the front desk on when things actually open.
